Again, 5 stars for the food. This time Cacao Coconut Mousse. Two stars for the company — why can’t you just give people serving sizes and calorie counts? This is my argument: It is not difficult or time consuming for you to do (15 minutes, tops), nor would it threaten any sales. And it is something that only you can do. If only I could just plug it into «myfitnesspal», I could buy your food more often… Love the food, but this packaging/​information issue once again has me giving up and trying to make something similar at home. Which is less convenient for me for sure, but you’d think Planetary Products would care about how this policy affects their bottom line.

I just tried to Cacao Coconut Mousse that I got from Whole Foods. What a delightful dessert. Vegan and gluten free… and so good without added sugar. Just coconut cream, dates, cacao, carob, and spices.

Hooray for the Taro Leaf Spiral Rolls! I am addict, and since I’ve become pregnant I crave them even more. :) Whenever I check out at Whole Foods or Berkeley Bowl, the cashiers always seem to pick up the package and study it for a long time. I exclaim right away how amazing and tasty they are. Sometimes the cashiers tell me how much they love the rolls too, or they even beat me to the exclamations. :)
I’m also in love the Thai-​Coconut Milk Curry with Peanut Ginger Rice. So delicious and perfectly satisfying!

Another vote for the taro leaf spirals, so delicious!
Got ‘em at the Berkeley Bowl. I hope I can find them in Southern CA.

My favorite is Kichari with Shaktiful veggies. Great combo of lentils and rice and the veggies have beats, which make it naturally sweet. Unfortunately, Whole Foods no longer carries this particular dish. I wonder if this company is still making it and if there’s any way they can have Whole Foods carry it again. I haven’t had much luck with Whole Foods customer service since they did their refurbishment a year or so ago. But that’s another review for another time.

I am currently enjoying the Thai-​Coconut Milk Curry with Peanut Ginger Rice. I had to stop and write this review it is sooo good.
As someone previously mentioned, I do wish the nutritional info was listed, but other than that I cannot recommend their packaged meals enough.

I buy their products at Berkeley Bowl, and I just love the flavors! The spinach tofu curry and the Thai coconut milk curry meals are amazing and always fresh.

I feel in love with the Shakti Taro Leaf Spirals that I purchased today in Whole Foods. Vegan, fresh and memorable. I will be looking for this brand from here on in my shopping for perishables and will do my best to try every other food listed by the other Unilocal reviewers. Wow, was it good.

The Sacramento Natural Foods Co-​op sells Shakti products. I am absolutely, wholeheartedly in love with the Date Nut Medals. The only ingredients are dates, cardamom, and a few pieces of pistachio and cashew nuts. They may look funny, but they have a rich and luscious taste; a true guilty pleasure without the guilt!

Just had one of their Indian meals from Whole Foods today and it was divine! And vegan! Love it!

I am a big fan of two of their products: Amla Chutney, and Amla Jam. (look for them in Berkeley Bowl and WholeFoods.)
Both of these have sublime flavor and add a delicious flavor to any dish. When I make kitchery I use the Amla Chutney along with the Shakti lemon chutney, with cilantro and avocado, I am in heaven.
The Amla Jam I love to put on toast in the morning with ghee, black sesame seed butter, and it proves to be a healthy and nutritious way to start my day. I hope this business stays alive and well (like me for eating their products)!

These foods are delicious AND nutritious. They are made from fresh ingredients and they smell good as you heat them up. I appreciate the low glycemic index especially, as there is diabetes in my family. Not only that, I like to keep my weight down and so I am careful about sugars & other simple carbs. I’m happy that this kind of healthy food choice is available in such a tasty formula.

Love the Powerhouse Vegetarian Meal I bought at Whole Foods. Loved it so much, I have been eating it every day for lunch for the past week.

I haven’t been to their physical store, but I’ve purchased their «SATIATING SOUP» at Rainbow Grocery in SF, and let me tell you, this is the SHIZZ! All veggie and very fulfilling. Tastes great, I feel like I’m doing something good for my body by eating it. Two (minor) complaints: 1.) I wish there was a nutritional information label on the packaging. 2.) One of the ingredients listed was «Yam Noodles.» I’m not a chef, but I’m pretty sure I would know a noodle if I ate one, and from what I can tell, there were no noodles in this soup. Maybe the label should read: «MAY contain some or all of the following ingredients»
But, overlooking those two concerns, I can say that this soup was very reasonably priced, and tasted DEE-​licious (ly.)
