We love this store! We get the best gifts for people here. My daughter loves to go in and look at the jewelry and the eco-​friendly toys. This is a great store.

Window shopped this place many times but it was always closed. Finally got a chance to stroll through today which was probably the right inspiration right before I went house hunting. It’s a reminder that good design can also be sustainable and eco-​conscious. A great place to pick up gifts for the indie, DIY, stylish, hippie friend. I read «green» blogs everyday so it’s cool being able to see /​touch the products they often write about.
I find Montclair village a fascinating microcosm and I hope this shop thrives here, nestled in between the likes of Starbucks, Peet’s and Noahs. Luckily Montclair also has some mom & pop like gems that I hope do not give way to a tacky Baby Gap.

I can’t decide which I like more — the owner’s choice of products or the owner herself. This little shop is a real treat.

This store is pretty cool. If you are looking for an eco-​friendly gift this would be your store. I want to all their items are recycled. Some amazing pieces in the store. A must check out if you are in the village.

Re4m is a neat little gift shop that is a welcome addition to the Montclair District of Oakland. The whole theme of these store is eco-​friendly goods, stylishly displayed, and moderately priced. The store itself is on the small side, but the space is airy and well used. On the day I was there, the store staff person was friendly and helpful, but not obtrusive. I’m not sure that I really need any of this stuff, but I came out thinking of all sorts of gift ideas for friends and family.

Stopped by in a hurry and was out in 10 minutes with some great little gifts. Nice, unusual selection. I will be back.

My new favorite go-​to store for gifts!
I love this store and everything in it. The jewelry and handbags are especially well selected — unique, hip and priced within reach. The owner is friendly and allows you to take your time perusing through this lovely airy store. I have bought numerous gifts here and all have been smashing hits. My last purchase was a metallic weave wallet that looks like something Imelda May would carry — I have received endless compliments on this little beauty!
So glad to have Re4m right here in Montclair!

Just bought a few gifts here. I love the concepts. I love this store! Sure it’s pricey but the quality of work is great on any item sold in this store. You’re also helping the planet by shopping here. 5 Stars!

My favorite eco-​conscious store of the everything-​I-​want-​but-​nothing-​I-​need ilk. Sourced from local studios and fair trade areas around the world, this hidden gem bursts with artisan jewelry, unique homestuff and deliciously scented beautifying products. Stick your nose into the Montclair Soaps and lotions made just up the hill. Divine.
I fell for a gorgeous matte porcelain Vietnamese tea set covered in these little nubs of glaze that massage one’s cupped hands. These are the things of dreams.
My credit card will be eaten alive.

OK, time for another update. The account has returned to its rightful owner — who I hear is looking into opening another shop — can’t wait! I miss Re4m…

I just love this place!
The merchandise is unusual. As we all know, it’s hard to find «hard-​to-​find» items ;) in this global marketplace, but Re4m seems to have a treasure chest of them!
The selection is great and I was able to find gifts for different people, male and female, and of varying ages all in one place which I really appreciated.
The owners are really nice and bring a breath of fresh air to the neighborhood. I hope they branch out and open one in Manhattan!

What a welcome addition to the village! I love, love, love the layout, feel, image and vibe of this small, well-​designed store.
Definitely the coolest shop on the street!

Re4m is a beautiful new boutique and the owner has great taste. It’s the eco-​boutique with a clean modern bent.

Northern California is full of earth friendly stores, but re4m takes concious living to a higher level. The owner, Lisa Tana has stocked her store full of items made from re-​claimed materials, such as recycled metals and leathers. The store is a breath of fresh air, you’ll feel it the minute you walk in the door. There are pendant lamps made out of recycled wine bottles, bowls made out of recycled metal, jewelery, cards and other unique items. It is a pleasure to see practical items made from recycled goods and nice to support a local business. They opened last week! There are great items for gifts and your home. I highly recommend this store.
