Shannon Kennedy

Shannon is amazing! I’ve been going to her for nearly a year now and the difference in my hair is amazing! She helped me transition from highlights, done on top of over processed hair, to balayage; I get complements all the time and people think it is my natural hair color!
She really takes the time to understand not just what you want immediately but what your long term hair goals are so that she can make sure the treatment/​cut she does makes you look great today and also helps you get your hair where you would like it to be. Along with listening to what you would like done with your hair, she will talk with you about what is on trend, where the trends are going, and give you great ideas for what you might like to do with your hair if you feel like you’re in a rut.
She is also always happy to teach which is a BIG help for someone like me! I can’t say enough good things, my hair was always trouble for me and now I LOVE it!

Shannon was AMAZING!
My story: 3 months ago I had the worst cut and color of my life… I actually cried a little when I got home. I met Shannon two weeks ago and she promised she could fix my hair, and she did more than that! It looks fantastic :-D
We sat down for about ten minutes and talked about what I wanted, what I had previously done, and what crazy things my naturally wavy hair does. She then gave great suggestions about the color and the cut, making sure I agreed with her vision (of course!!!) before we started anything. After the multi-​step color process to fix the previous mistakes, she also cut my hair in many stages. I really liked that she took her time cutting my bangs. She clipped them five times, only taking a little at a time, asking if I was ok with her going shorter each time. There is nothing worse than a stylist lopping off your bangs way too short! They are the perfect length right now and lay exactly as I asked for.
My hair not only has a great cut but lots of really nice warm colors. I wanted a nice honey color with blonde high-​lights and that is exactly what I got. The shades Shannon picked make my eyes look really blue and goes well with my pale skin. A great ‘do really makes a difference for sure!
I am SOOO happy I found Shannon! It is so hard to find a stylist who listens to exactly what you want and deliver. The Rockridge Day Spa is very nice too. Very clean, super nice people :) They will be seeing me every 4 – 6 weeks for as long as I live in Rockrige!
