Steve did a great job teaching my 8-​year-​old grandson. He (Steve) is quiet and soulful, and my grandson always enjoyed his lessons. Although he has now taken on another instrument, he wants more lessons from Steve on drums, when we are able to work it out.
Steve also worked with us to assemble a used drum set, and set it up at my grandson’s home.

Steve has been teaching my daughter for 6 months and she looks forward to the lesson every time. For children, beginning a new instrument can be a daunting task and can easily lead to giving up. Steve knows how to keep these introductory lessons fun and engaging, not intimidating. I’ve seen Steve introduce theory concepts in an easily ingestible way for a beginner. We look forward to more classes with Steve.

Great drum set. I was looking for something vintage and Steve had just the ticket! He was helpful and understanding as we worked on the project. Everything sounds great! He even tossed in a lesson for my rusty skills. Good times indeed.

I have been working with Steve off and on for a year and my drumming has dramatically improved. I came in with some basic skills and bad habits. He is flexible in lessons and always brings something new to he table. I don’t feel confined to my homework and he has been great about trying different approaches. Even though it’s hard, the Learning jazz basics goes a long way for all my drumming styles. He’s also got a stash of sweet used gear and hard to find parts for old gretsch, Ludwig, camco, etc.
