The staff at this store deserve a raise. In my opinion this location stands out among all Subway stores in the bay area!

One of the worst subways ever. The Hindi speaking guy was probably new coz he made a very messy sandwich.

Bad service. Had a bug in my sandwich and told the employee she said it was from outside but we were eating inside the whole time. Never once left the store. So she told her co worker and I said I wanted a refund he said he can’t do that. so i asked for the store managers number. He said ill come back and he came back and asked for my receipt. And only gave me back $ 3 basically half of what I paid for. Don’t ever ever come here.

I don’t know what happened to this place. I always enjoyed Bieng a costumer here, but now I just drive down to lakeshore
One thing is how the employees handle the sandwiches. Not good
There was one man who worked here after possibly new management. He was quite rude, didn’t greet me, made my sandwich wrong, and refused to make another
Drive down to MacArther or Lakeshore. Don’t waste your time here.

Can’t forget my favorite sandwich the Cold Cut Combo on Honey Oat bread is always on the top of my list. Sometimes its to busy and the crew just wants to get you in and out.

Doesn’t have the Special $ 5 Footlong as you see in most other Subways but the Staff is always really friendly and the service is quick.
They aren’t shy with the portions either.
Some places will literally make you beg for another pickle.
Very clean and not usually that busy.

I’ve been here numerous times because it’s close to my house, but that is the only reason I return. The employees are always rude. The vegetables look like they have been sitting out for a week.
I have been there 6 times… Not once have they had tea made up.
If you do come here, make sure you have low expectations

I’m annoyed with the service provided here. The server barely toasted my sandwich and did not provide decent portion size when I asked for vegetables to be added. She only added a pinch for everything I ordered. I’ve been here before and remember it being a more enjoyable experience. A contributing factor is probably how they have these bulletproof walls covering the whole sandwich bar/​cashier area. The servers have trouble hearing you. so it’s as if everyone ordering is yelling their order. They also don’t «come out» to clean the dirty tables. I also observed a fly flying around inside their fortress and over the meats. Kinda gross. If I saw it before I ordered, I probably would’ve just walked out.

Terrible service. So rude! Not sure if they know that paying customers are what keep them in business or not.

I was in here yesterday and ordered off the breakfast menu. I ordered 7 orders of the, Steak, egg and cheese on flat-​bread. Its the only 6″ item with steak in the $ 4.00 menu. So as the lady (which I wont say her name here but did write her name down to report to the store manager tomorrow when I call in) was assembling the bread side by side on the prepping counter she said she only have 3 flat-​bread. So I said fine, the rest could be on other bread. Then just as she was about to toast the flat-​bread, I noticed the steak and cheese on the bread but no egg. So I said to her doesn’t it come with a choice of egg? She said, you want egg? I said to her, does it not state on the menu that its a, Steak, egg and cheese? She then turn around to look up onto the menu board to read the description… mumbles under her breath, «oh my god», as she turns back to my direction and says ok to me. While she was working on the sandwiches, she coughed a couple times and then another time as she was removing the baked breads out of the oven and onto the warmer shelves. If she knew she’d be coughing coming into work, she shouldve wore a face mask, cough into her elbow or cough away, but no… she just coughed into the direction as she worked away.
And while waiting what seemed forever for the 7 bread to be made, transients were coming in and out to use the restroom. I didnt want to touch ANYTHING and be out of there quick.

Most defiantly a no go! The lady who prepared my Sammy was obviously sick, sneezing and coughing constantly. I give this place 4 thumbs down by all means!!!

If I could give no stars, I would. Came into this Subway location where I met someone who placed our order. When I came into the unlocked door, a Subway employee who was seated in the restaurant talking on a cell phone said «We’re closed». It was two in the afternoon. The guy making the sandwiches did not speak English, and the other employee offered him no assistance, only speaking on the cell phone. We took our sandwiches to go. Messy smearing of condiments, some that we did not ask for, all over the bread. Learn from other locations how to provide customer service and clean up your food presentation. Awful. The owner had the balls to reply to me that the store could not have been closed at two in the afternoon! I told him to speak to his employees about what was going on in there. What a jerk, don’t go in! Not worth it.

I go here in the mornings sometimes and it’s never busy. Smells great ! Fresh baked bread.

I read the reviews and I guess I’m lucky because I had no issues. I like how roomy this place is compared to some Subways that are cramped. It’s pretty clean and in a nice location. Parking in the rear made it a great stop. Ate my regular ham with chips and off to work again. I liked the place.

Terrible service! Never coming to this subway store ever again!
I stood in line for 30minutes; there was only 3 people in front of me though! She didn’t speak much english and made my order wrong! After making my sandwich, she didn’t finish wrapping my sandwich and cut it in half… She just let it sit there unwrapped and open and helped another customer. After that, when I went home, I opened my sandwich and it looked terrible! It was very sloppy and it looked like it was made 3 days ago! It’s becoming a second McDonald!
The cashier man was really rude and disrespectful to his customers. Don’t come to this subway shop! I’m serious…

Came by this subway after I went to the beauty store. There was 2 workers and a line that was moving by pretty okay. I had ordered a 6″ steak sandwich (toasted). The guy that was making my sandwich looked a little irritated so I was being polite and all. The way he pour the sauce was pretty messy and the way he put the lettuce, he just grab one whole and toss it.
So to make it worse, when I got home and while eating my sandwich, the meat was COLD!!! I was pretty upset but didn’t want to drive back there. Pretty disappointing.
NOTE: If you getting a chicken breast (any chicken), pastrami, or steak (besides the ham/​turkey/​salami/​pepperoni) tell them to microwave the meat before putting on the toaster!

I went in today, for the first time at this location and i guarantee it will be my last.
My experience started off good: there wasnt a long line to stand in. I ordered my sandwich and trouble found me when i went to pay.
I handed clerk #3 (forgot to get his name) $ 2.50 in cash and wanted to put the rest on my card. Well, when i gave him the money, he looked at it and me like I just handed him some dog poo. He then began to have a conversation with me about how the sandwich is not $ 2.50. I told him i knew my sanwich was not that amount and wantedto put the rest on my card. He was telling me they dont do that: accept cash and put the rest on a card. What do you mean you dont do that? If you accept cash and you accept cards then you can accept cash and cards! I called somebody else to come and assist me since clearly he was not the right one and she came into the situation repeating that same nonsense i just handed over my card and paid it and was done with it.
This location is unfriendly, unprofessional, and did i mention my sandwich was made poorly, as i was biting into it, it was falling apart. Last time i order flatbread and last time i go to that location. I cant say enough about their poor service, make-​up-​policy-​as-​you-​go attitude and rudeness to me and my $ 2.50. They dont ever have to see me or my money again!!!
Did i mention that they only gave me two napkins? As sloppy as that sandwich was made i needed like 5 or 6. Such a raggedy establishment.

This Subway is relatively clean, very important, at least to me. The sandwiches are made to your order and liking, this alone warrants the four star rating. There’s plenty of seating and parking in the rear. The staff usually consists of the same people, all friendly and pleasant. My one complaint, the front door is super heavy!
