Margaret is an amazing therapist. I just want to say, in our short time together she has given me the tools to look at things in a different perspective. which has really allowed me to deal with my issues in a way that has made life much more bearable. I really like her style of therapy and her enormous presence. I could not ask for a better therapist. I am completely happy with her service. I would most def recommend Margaret.

Horrible. Avoid Margaret at all costs. Completely biased against men, unprofessional. constantly insisting on being paid before (!) our meetings took place. Took advantage of her being part of court orders to drag out therapy for my daughter, and proceeded to completely ignored her appointment orders from the judge. Lied about the nature of our meetings and misrepresented numerous issues in letters written to the court (despite her orders clearly stating she was NOT to be involved in court matters). I am proceeding with an official complaint against her with the State of California Board.

Margaret is extremely skillful and knows how to create a space that feels safe and heart connected. For families she works hard to push through the stuff to better communication.

Margaret is wonderful! I’ve been seeing her for over 5 years (more off and on for the last 2) and she’s the best. Someone who will work to really meet you where you are at. She’s understanding, wise, and comes from a social justice perspective. Meaning she works well at understanding and working with me and all my identities (african american/​seminole, queer, broke, woman of color). Her rate is incredibly reasonable and she uses a sliding scale. I can afford her without using insurance. She doesn’t approach you from a typical therapist perspective, meaning seeing you as something that needs fixing and having an overly distant approach. She is highly professional, but also sees your humanness and connects to that. Her work with her clients IS how she does social justice in the world. It is her «work,» not just her job. Or at least that is how I feel based on my experiences with her. Not to mention she has a ton of resources that she can refer you to.
This is all my two cents. But if you’re looking for a high quality, reasonably priced, amazing therapist, Margaret is the one to call.
