Didn’t really care for the burnt red snapper cooked in dirty oil taste. The Mac and cheese was fair, I’ve had soooo much better… Bar-B-Q was nasty, barely any meat just a heaping load of sauce. Ordered some fries but however never received them, and the lady told me she will help me out next time. I’m going to make the review short and sweet, ordered delivery took forever and the food was not that hot… You receive one star because Unilocal is making me.

My wife and I were there Friday. We saw my son and his friends and all of us enjoyed our food. I got the combo plate, my wife the sole wonderful… Lousiana style with peppers and pickles, adn hot sauce. I loved the greens, the mac was a litte rich for me, my wife loved the yams. I always get their coleslaw. It is just my cup of tea. so glad they have re-opended, always good quality food for years and still is

Oh I was so excited to see this place reopened. It was one of my fav. places to eat in the 90’s. Unfortunately, the new spot as nice and updated as it is, is no reflection on the food. The meat(chicken, prawns and red snapper) were cooked perfectly, but lacked seasoning. And the sides(greens, yams and mac ‘n’ cheese) were not edible. Period… the Hush puppies were good. I am sad that the food was not better, I was so looking forward to this place coming back after such a long hiatus. I will check this place out again, in hopes that it was just an off day. ll keep you posted…
