You’re right Claire. You said it really well. I think it’s best to keep Unilocalers away. Thank you!!!

Hahhahahahahahahhahhaa the Vulcan is on Unilocal. What has the world come to? If you’re looking on Unilocal for places to live then the Vulcan *may* not be the right place for you. If you like unicorns and skepticism and penises and art and circus and have a healthy dose of snark and are okay with gunshots and homeless folks, then awesome. Especially if you’re going to help with chores. Although many of us visit that thing in the desert, if you think that is your Entire Life and the Vulcan is exactly like that, you will probably be disappointed. We’re a highly dysfunctional family. 0_o love Vulcan.

This place is ridiculous. If you’re a super chilled out artist who misses Burning Man for 51 weeks out of the year, definitely live here. I haven;t seen anything like it. I only visited for a day, so maybe I didn’t get a full sense of the place. But I saw two– and three-story lofts perfect for hobbyists. There were trapeze ropes and swings hanging ten feet off the ground in one. Another had a thirty-foot climbing wall. There are at least five beautiful, blossoming courtyards and it seems like everyone plays an instrument. See a wall without artwork hanging or painted? Do something with it. Downsides: Everyone lives closely. If you don’t want to live in a commune, don’t live here. It also looks like this place would be vulnerable to fires. And it’s not in the best neighborhood. But it’s gated, and it seems like a lot of really level-headed people have been doing just fine here for a long time. If you’re not going to live there, at least try to visit.
