This place is nice. 14 dollars for my haircut. They are nice and friendly. They are good with children.

This review is luckily getting one star because otherwise I can’t write the review. Tina was my boyfriend’s stylist and she was awful. I went with him this time because he has a hard time communicating what he wants done. I brought in several pictures with me and I went through them with Tina and made it very clear that we wanted a fade, not an undercut. We also wanted to keep his hair pretty long so I told her to not cut any off on top and to keep it a long fade. She started chopping off all his hair and my jaw hit the floor. She noticed and turned around and asked what was wrong. I told her she was cutting off WAY too much but by that point it was too late. She had to just keep going and make it look decent. Then, my boyfriend didn’t like the way she was cutting the sides above his ears and asked her to thin it out right above his ears so it didn’t look puffy and she started taking more off the top. I finally just said it looks good let’s go because I didn’t want her to cut any more. We will definitely NOT be going back to Tina nor that Great Clips again.

Went here this past Friday afternoon. My usual place didn’t have any availabilities until later, but I wanted to get a fresh cut for a wedding I was going to that evening that would still give me enough time to get ready.
Luckily, or unluckily in hindsight, they were able to take me right away. The girl that checked me in was friendly enough, but the hairstylist I was given, De, was not. Usually stylists like to chat you up, but it was pretty much dead silent unless I was the one that started the conversation.
At first I had told her I just wanted my layers cleaned up and length shortened a bit. After trimming it up, I saw that I still wanted it to be a little bit shorter. It seemed like she didn’t try to put as much care into it the 2^nd time when I asked her to do it again. Shampooing my hair, she had gotten water in my eye and didn’t even say sorry. When she was drying my hair, she was only using her fingers and a flat comb, so I asked her if she could use a round brush instead. She said if she did that it would be an extra charge, so I just said forget about it then.
At the register, it seemed like an unusually long time to punch in a cut and shampoo. She ran away from the register, which I thought was really strange, after giving me my change and receipt so I didn’t have the opportunity to leave a tip.
Upon checking my receipt when I got home, I saw that I was charged for a ‘regular style’. Called the store to find out what that was and the girl that answered, Katie (who was also a manager) said it usually included a flat iron and round brush usage. I said that none of that was used, so she told me to come in to get a refund.
Along with my $ 20 refund that the «stylist» De took as a tip for herself, I was also given a certificate for a free haircut. Despite this gesture, I’m never going back to this location due to this terrible experience!

Took my 5 year old twins for cuts yesterday and was fine about the cuts they received, BUT the stylist?
I was told 10 minutes, which is fine that it was more like 15, however, the one stylist that did one of my sons’ hair decided to chat with her very attractive customer at the register for 10 MINUTES! Other stylists who were in the middle of cuts had to check people in and answer the phone. I couldn’t believe how obnoxious she was and was not happy she was assigned one of my kids.
She was very bossy and curt with him, which pissed me off beyond belief. He also asked, very politely if he could be «spiky». She said, again, very snotty «it’s the PRODUCT that spikes it, not the cut». I had to mention that he wasn’t a moron and that putting in product was fine.
And yes, I’m calling her out… JEN. I had to ask the other girl who cut my other kids’ hair who she was. I hope the manager reads this and addresses her unprofessional behavior. I have 4 kids and could bring a lot of clients to this place, but not now!

I love this place.
For one, you can get a haircut for pretty cheap ($ 13) and if you have a coupon, it might be even cheaper ($ 7.99!) I have never had a problem with any of the ladies that have cut my hair here. (Not being sexist — I haven’t had a guy cut my hair here, yet. I’ll change my review if I do!)
The longest wait I’ve had is maybe 10 minutes. You can check-​in online before you come if you think there might be a long wait.
I definitely recommend this place!
