Patronizing, uninformed, not just unhelpful but deliberately obstructive. I had the very same experience that the reviewer «Taylor J» had. I bet she had the same guy (Steve). He didn’t know the answer to my question (when would the car be ready), so he blustered, lectured, and tried to hide his ignorance with the very same type of behavior. «This is a 2016, you ought to want it to be perfect». And «This is auto mechanics, not burger flipping».

This business is a sneaky dirty one! Told me I needed new rotars and brake pads and I said I wanted my dad to look at them before I did anything drastic and the guy made me feel terrible actually made me cry, he said well considering you have a car seat in the back you want to keep your baby safe so it needs to be fixed and you shouldn’t drive this like it is with him in it so I tried to call my dad my dad unfortunately did not answer and I caved and told them to do it they had my truck for 2 days the next day then call and say I needed something done with my calipers to which I replied no I don’t, and they again made me feel bad but I did not cave this time. My dad went with me to go and get my truck to which they again mentioned my calipers which I already denied wanting service to. Then the guy told my dad he’d rather have my dad drive it home then me without fixing the calipers, I been driving it fine for the longest time so I said nope I’m driving it home. I drove it home and my truck started shaking. I get home have my dad look at it and drive it, my rotar was smoking my dad took it to his mechanic and he told my dad they didn’t adjust the breaks so then inhad to get another new rotar spent $ 720, when all I really wanted was a tire. This place is full of a bunch of scam artists!

Cannot say enough good things about this place. While checking tires during a road trip they caught a serious problem my regular shop had missed. They had to work like crazy to find a supposedly standard part that no one in town seemed to have. Half an hour before we thought we’d have to leave the RV for the night they turned up a supplier and they stayed as long as it took to finish the repair. Pleasant folks, and they know their stuff.

Have been using Parker’s for about 8 years now, for both tires and vehicle service, and have never had a problem. Prices are fair and they have never oversold. The closest they ever came was a casual warning that the front tires were wearing down and we would need to look at replacement later in the year.

I LOVE Parker’s! These guys are the best. Have taken all of our vehicles there, and will continue to do so as long as they are here in Ocala!
