THEWORST and RUDEST people I’ve ever dealt with. Was willing to pay up front a 7 month lease while we only needed to stay for 3 – 4, got smart ass remarks from the woman on the phone. Lost our business! My advice rent elsewhere!

We moved into a ground level 2 bdrm apartment. ITHASBEENTERRIBLE! The construction of this building must be made with toothpicks. I can hear EVERYTHING my neighbor upstairs does. Every morning I hear her get out of bed, walk to her dresser, walk to the bathroom, flush her toilet, get in the shower… until she goes out the door! And to make things worse, she has a big dog that sounds like thunder when it’s running around up there. The apartment should not allow dogs to live on the 2nd story! As far as the rest of the apartment complex, the gym is pretty nice when the machines are not out of order. The swimming pool is very nice, but often filled with unsupervised children… meaning, the parents are there, but don’t pay attention. The office staff are very nice and accomodating when they speak to you. But it takes a week, if they even do anything, to fulfill a maintenance request. The staff seem to promise the world, but can’t deliever half the time. There are occassionally community activities, which is a nice idea. Sometimes the residents get involved and sometimes not. Overall, I cannot give more than 2 stars for a so-called«luxury» apartment complex… it’s definitely not luxury in my book. I can’t wait until my lease is up!

So, it’s back to apartment living… After three years of owning my own house… But that’s what happens when you move for a job and rent out your personal pad. It’s difficult to make the switch, I won’t lie. But, I think I was really lucky when I found this place. It’s a resort style community. What does that mean? You’ve got great landscaping, you’ve got fountains, gazebos, a nice pool, a covered couch area by the pool(near another fountain) with WiFi, a sand volleyball court, a nice gym, an indoor raquetball court, and a great staff always smiling and willing to help you out. The community is gated, and I really love that there are more Marion County/FHP/City of Ocala Sherrif’s/Officers than I can count on two hands that live in the community. That means SAFETY! And as a new(and extremely neurotic mother), safety is very high on my list. There are a lot of families that live in the community, which is nice to have kids running around screaming. Some things that I would change: — Due to economic times, I don’t have an air filter that fits my air unit! I’m going to have to go buy one and put it on myself. — Their one bedroom apartments are in an ‘apartment style’ instead of private entrances like some of their competitors. — There is no outside BBQ/Grilling area. Which would be really nice, especially by the pool. Other than those minor nuisances, this is a great community to live in. We’re planning on staying a long while. As long as they let us, or as long as have to until we can sell our property for a profit and have enough for a down payment on something in town!(So, a long while)
