Really good place for a quick lunch. Had the Classic Gyro and it was great. Staff was friendly and restaurant was clean. My only (small) issue is that they have the old school ketchup bottles that you have to stick a knife into to get the ketchup to come out.

Fresh and tasty! The combo is the way to go – and try the onion rings. Crispy and delicious. This is a family owned local business with all the amenities of a chain. Generous portions and the gyros are excellent. Service was also very good– knowledgeable staff. I came in with my daughter once before and this time with my husband. He loved it!

My boyfriend and I were wandering around on our last day in Ocala looking for a bite and noticed the ratings here.
The restaurant itself is cute, but no one happened to be eating in when we arrived. They also have a drive-​thru which is pretty convenient as well. I ordered the classic gyro and my boyfriend ordered something with fried chicken and buffalo sauce.
As for my gyro, the lamb was seasoned perfectly and cooked well. The tzatziki did not seem all that flavorful, but that might also be due to the fact that there wasn’t enough of it. Overall, it was tasty. I would recommend asking for extra tzatziki, if possible. My boyfriend seemed to enjoy his fried chicken with buffalo sauce quite a bit because I never got to try it, haha.
It’s not the best gyro I’ve ever had, but I would definitely recommend trying it.

Excellent gyros, wings, fries and onion rings. Excellent indoor and outdoor seating, great staff as well. Only issue was the tzatziki sauce was way too thin imo. The gyro we ordered without the sauce on the side fell apart before it was more than half done.
Highly recommend, just get the tzatziki sauce on the side

Great little spot to get some healthy eats! Tried a couple of salads and the baba ghanouj (sp?) As well as the baklava — it was all amazing!
The staff were friendly and very helpful. Brought us silverware even though it was there for us to grab ourselves at the counter (they could tell we were new!).

Found this place from the Unilocalper reviews! Plenty of parking around the restaurant. Ordered the gyro combo. Easy to order, the menu is simple & in plain site on the wall. Friendly staff! The order came quick, still was in the process of checking in on Unilocal.Better come hungry, I was amazed at how big the gyro was & a ton of good fries. The gyro was hot & very tasty. Would definitely come back again. The restaurant is very clean, inside & out. The bathroom is clean also. Very impressed with this restaurant. They even bring your order to the table on real plates, not plastic or paper plates. They even send a mgr out to ask how everything was. Great experience, glad I stopped in for a gyro!

Really good gyros. Clean place, friendly staff, and fast fresh food. Their menu is very streamlined, which is great… gyros, rice bowls and salads. Get the lime drink, it tastes like a frozen mojito. so good!

I ate there for the first time Wednesday evening and enjoyed it very much. I was a little taken aback that at 6pm I was the only customer, but I’m glad I decided to try it. The place is very clean, and the girl taking orders was very friendly. I ordered the chicken shawarma combo with onion rings and it was delicious and plentiful. A lady who appeared to be the owner came out and asked how the food was and when I told her I really enjoyed it, she said she would like to see me come back. All in all a nice meal.

Great, great, great! Service was quick, even for a weekday lunch. Pleasant staff, and it looked clean and well kept. Small menu, but that made it very simple to order. Ordered the gyro, chicken shawarma and a small hummus side. My gyro was fantastic, my wife liked the shawarma, and the hummus tasted very fresh! Would definitely come here again!

Excellent! My husband and I have been in several times and the service and food is always the same high, awesome, DELICIOUS quality! I just tried the soup tonight and it was wonderful! It’s one of those places where the food is so good that you wish you could eat it well after your stuffed.
The interior is beautiful and clean. They did an excellent job of making a cohesive atmosphere that is so well pot together. I hope The Hut is around for a long, long time. It’s honestly perfect.

Super yummy food, and the restaurant was extremely clean! Got soup and fries with my order even though I was only supposed to have the soup. awesome!
Will be coming back again for the rice bowls too, they were delicious.

I was hoping I’d finally found a great Gyro in town but it wasn’t meant to be.
The sandwich was small in size and though I appreciated the ¼″ slices of meat I did not appreciate the small bits of gristle throughout that I constantly had to discard. The Z sauce was thin and lacked the proper flavor. I found it interesting that the person taking care of everyone had no idea what percentage of lamb was in the meat… I was told it’s all from an outside company. This same person also was handling the drive thru at the same time so service was lacking.
The restrooms were clean though the tables were not cleaned after customers left. I loved the little patio area where you can enjoy your food outside but both doors to it were locked. Several more hiccups include the fact that you are not given a receipt, the monitors on the 3 tables do not function and already they no longer carry some of the items on their menu.

The gyro with fries was slammin. Up there with one of the best I’ve ever had! Really nice inside I like the modern look. Came here around 4:00pm was not busy at all got my food in about 10min or less (impressive).!
Will definitely be coming back. Seems like a good place to eat with the family. Small inside though if crowded would be hard to find seating :(outside seats available to :)
