After 20 years of visiting OC why have I never eaten here before! AMAZING!!! Crepes with fresh strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, homemade crème AND fried potatoes with scallops, shrimp, jumbo crabmeat, and cheese! Heavenly Highly recomended!

The food was good. Huge portions. I had the ham & cheese skillet with a side of potatoes. Everything tasted good. 4 stars because the waitress was horrible. She showed up once to take our drink order & again to take our food order. She didn’t check on us again until the end of our meal when we we’re ready for the check. We literally had to flag down other waiters around us for assistance the entire time. And we saw her tending to other tables in our section. I will certainly go back for the food & promptly change seats if they ever gave us her section again.

I really like this place. The food portions are huge so definitely consider sharing. I really like the Bön Femme omelet. I also love the fruit crepes. The homemade whipped cream, or Chantilly lace as they call it, is out of this world! I also recommend the fresh juice. It’s pricey but not like anything you can buy at the store. I’m not from the area but when we come to Ocean City it’s always a must.

Dude, this place is a rip. I’ve been here about 12 times and either my taste is improving of their food is declining. First of all, the strawberries. Nothing fresh about them, and so overpriced. Service is spotty, décor is lame, place seems dirty. If it weren’t so overpriced perhaps my experience would have been different, but we left spending almost $ 70 after 20% tip for a family of 4(with 2 toddlers!).

I should have been tipped off by the reviewer who said something to the effect that this place looks like your Grandma’s house threw up on a set of Laura Ashley sheets. Not the exact quote, but it was really funny. Not many places are open during the off season, so we decided to try it out. To put it in a nutshell, the fresh juice… is not worth the squeeze. First, the parking lot is a pink mess of roses, plants and fake plants, and whoever designed the place should be shot for crimes against humanity. I sucked up what was left of my masculinity and entered, hoping for a good omelet. The prices are awful high considering it is an omelet that although the portions are large, I felt that it wasn’t improved by special ingredients. To cut to the chase, I felt like I could have gotten my standard Colorado omelet from IHOP for $ 9 and been happier. We saw the large portions from another couple’s table and we decided to share an omelet and crêpe. My wife didn’t say anything remarkable about the crêpe and the veggie omelet was nothing incredible except that it was large enough for two people. You would have thought that since we shared a meal, that we would have left the place feeling like we got our money worth. Considering the coffee was $ 3.25, the omelet and crêpe was almost $ 20, I quickly found my bill close to over $ 30 for just the two of us. Considering that our waitress seemed like being there was the last place she wanted to be, the horrid decorations. and the mediocre food… I would scan around for another place to get breakfast.

This place in OC is the BEST or breakfast, the meals are very large and they always recommend that everyone share. There is no extra cost to share they will even give you extra creps when you ask for a plate to share. The egg omelettes are good and there potatoes are out of this world good. My all time favorite that I get every time I go is the Banana Royal, it is two creps filled with a half banana then topped with the best whipped cream you will ever taste topped with a delicious sweet brown sauce and finally topped off with some almond slivers. I’ve been going here for over 20 years and everything still tastes like the first time or better. They use to only serve breakfast and lunch but now they serve dinner I have never been but if the food is anything like the breakfast it should be great.

While we have dined there on many occasions, our last visit involved a bit of larceny(I believe). With another couple, we enjoyed breakfast but felt that we were«suckered» into a scheme to relieve us of an extra $ 20. We paid our bill with cash that included an approximately 20% tip and gave the waitress the folder with the money that two of us had counted to verify the amount. Moments later, the waitress returned and told us that there was barely enough to cover the bill, let alone the tip! My friend and I explained that each of us had counted the cash and was certain that the amount included an adequate tip. The Hostess /Cashier came to the table and vouched for the waitress’s version of being short one twenty dollar bill. The lesson here for me(and others that might want to eat at Bayside Skillet) is to pay with a credit card and make sure that the numbers add up properly. Of course, the opportunity for credit card compromising might also have crossed their minds!

Both food and service were fantastic. Generous portion filled out plates. The wait to get in was only 5 minutes on an extremely busy Saturday morning. The morning cocktails were mixed just right. Not too strong, not too weak. The parking lot could use a bit of work, but that doesn’t detract from the restaurant itself. The crepes were delivered at just the right temperature, and the wait staff was very attentive. Well worth the wait and price.

Friendly staff, great potatoes, nice outdoor seating(this is a plus when traveling with small children since you don’t have to worry so much about noise level). Food was okay — huge portions. The best part was the fresh squeezed orange juice.

Pros: Amazing food Friendly waitresses It’s Pink! Cons: Pretty pricey. I have had a few issues with non clean glassware. It’s so small and always crowded. There’s literally elbow room between you and the next table. However we go every year and will continue! Enjoy

More expensive than most breakfast places, but they make their omelets with FOUR eggs, and each omelet comes with a crêpe and delicious strawberry preserves. The fresh-squeezed juices are large and very tasty! The scenery is also lovely if you sit outside by the bay. I recommend this restaurant for a slightly more upscale breakfast.

Don’t waste your money or time. The place itself looks like Grandma’s house and a party store threw up. Everything is pink and there are fake planters and flowers everywhere. I wish I had followed my instinct and ran away when I saw that. Fresh squeezed OJ looked good but I wasn’t paying $ 4.75 for 6oz of it. Sure you get huge portions for the price you pay, but no human needs that much food. I got a basic sausage and American cheese omelet. I received a huge 4 – 6 egg omelet with two Kraft single slices partially melted on top. Not even mixed in a little. That was unappetizing. Omelets and coffee for 4 were $ 77. Id go to Denny’s before going here again.

Should have known something was up when the place is a ghost town at 7p on a Friday night in OC. Or when the cooks could be heard screaming at each other in the kitchen, from the dining area. Food was overpriced, disgusting, and cold. The décor looks like a 1950’s strawberry farm vomited all over the place, parking lot included. Seeing a waitress’ camel toe as she squatted behind a car to smoke was the cherry on top of a bad experience.

Had breakfast here today. First of all, they try to sell everyone a glass of fresh squeezed juice. The juice is going to cost you $ 5 a glass for small and about $ 6 for a large. I ordered the Loco Leprechaun which is a chorizo omelette served with chips. The omelette was delicious. The strawberry crepes were also very good. The down side: for two children’s meals(just crepes), 1 adult strawberry crepes, one omelette, 3 small juice and a coffee our bill was $ 62 dollars +tip. Crazy price for breakfast and the servings were not huge as stated in other reviews. Excellent food but tourist trap prices.

Came here for breakfast and this place is known for its omelet and crepes. Portions are Cheesecake Factory style… huge! Omelet is with four large eggs and you can also order hollandaise sauce for extra. We shared one spinach and bacon omelet(came with our own crepes when sharing too!) and got a side of their greasy but yummy potatoes. I really liked their crêpe! We enjoyed it very much. One note: they don’t serve regular breakfast diner food like pancakes, eggs Benedict, scrapple, and French toast. With tax and tip and coffee n diet Pepsi was $ 30. Not bad at all.

Staying on 81 street so a quick walk to Bayside Skillet for brunch on a Saturday. By myself so enjoyed eating at the outdoor bar! Bartender was attentive with serving water and coffee right away. Was debating between an omelette or crêpe. And ended up to get the loco locomotive omelette which had Chizo, cheese, and potatoes which was new on the menu. Coffee was ok/bit on the weak side. The omlette as on the dry side like everyone mentioned on the Unilocal reviews. Perhaps I should’ve tried the crepes. The food was ok. Atmosphere was fun and whimsical. I’m sure there’s better breakfast joints less tourist which I need to find next time. Either way, it was a fun time having breakfast here.

This the second time coming here for lunch. I order the seafood omelet both time. hollandaise sauce on the side. With it alaskan crab legs, cheese, little bit of cock onions. coffee was the that hot. Fresh squeezed orange juices. But the hollandaise sauce was premed. Also it was not worm. Next time I’ll ask to make me a fresh one. But every welcoming, fast service. But this place more like the family spot from them so they bring there children so they feel special. Wood I come back. ??? I try for a better day to come back here.

«We’re looking for a place called the bayside skillet… keep driving, I think it’s up this way a bit more»… «PINK! IT’S RIGHTTHERE. it’s the pink building!». Yep. You really can’t miss Bayside Skillet because of its pink building, but you really wouldn’t want to miss it. The décor once you walk through the door is rustic, bohemiam. It is pink, with lights, plants, and tons of different things hanging on the walls — plus there’s everything PINK! Tabletclothes, napkins, seats, you name it. its pink. Bayside Skillet has become an OC Tradition for me. If I find myself in the OC area, I have to make the stop and grab myself some breakfast. Their known for their omelets and crepes. I personally prefer the crepes. I’ve had the crepes Kathyrn(crepes topped with 3 items of fresh fruit and their yummy nummy chantilly cream), crepes Adam(cheesy, garlic, veggie-filled), and the crepes Foster(banana foster — noms). I haven’t had a crêpe I do not like here. The omelets are not my cup of team, although fluffy, I find that they are very dry… my thought is maybe they do the«cook in the bad» trick. But I also don’t find them bad either… I dont know just a personal preference that I like them to be less dry. Would I recommend? YES. Will you like? MOSTLIKELY. And if you don’t like it? WELL… THATSJUSTMOREFORME :)

Simply one of the finest breakfast spots in Ocean City. What a perfect way to start the day and end a weekend! The beach season was in full swing, so after a weekend of sun bathing and bar hopping, my friends decided to go out for one last meal together before heading home. We arrived during the busy breakfast hour — 9:30 am — yet were seated immediately. Many people like to eat outside on the deck by the bay, but on hot, muggy days, there is surprisingly little breeze(I know this from previous trips). So, with the option of being seated immediately, albeit inside and in the AC, we took it. Best part was, we had a party of 8. No wait for a party of 8? You have my blessing, Bayside Skillet! Within a minute or two of sitting down, the server arrived and displayed her vast knowledge of the menu. She must have spouted off half a dozen specials. Many of my friends, who were servers themselves, were very impressed by the detail she provided. And it wasn’t just mindlessly listing menu items — she made them sound irresistible! The portions were quite large, which made the above-average prices somewhat justified. However, I do admit we were all taken aback by the $ 5.75 price tag for the small glass of orange juice. Sure, it was fresh-squeezed and delicious, but less than 12 hours ago we were ordering orange juice and vodkas for less than that at the bar! Regardless, the service was impeccable. Never did we need to ask for refills — they just came. And even though we were in the far reaches of the dining room — probably the furthest distance from the kitchen — the server came back and was prompt in clearing dishes and keeping our table nice and tidy. A well-trained staff is obviously a focal point here, and it shows. My friends were also impressed by the bathroom cleanliness, for what it’s worth. This place is, overall, a very clean, well-run eatery. If you want a run-of-the-mill egg and sausage breakfast for $ 4.99, you won’t find it here. But you will find omelets served with not toast, but crepes! That’s right, each omelet is served with a crêpe and jelly. I have never tried one before, and I doubt I ever would have unless it was the default side. But I’m glad they did. Now I know I’m a fan!
