This place sucks. They dropped a plate of eggs on my dad. I want my refund. It took 25 minutes to get my drink and my food was soooo cold. I’m gonna start going to a better breakfast place like Domino’s or Anthony’s or maybe Barn 34, maybe General’s Kitchen, just never here.

Great food, excellent service. Meals up very quick, kept the kids happy. Wish they had Benedict, though. Maybe as a special sometimes? Will go again. Had the Spanish Omelette with added sour cream(posted a pic).

Possibly the best customer service I have ever experienced. When I told the server we could not eat bread because of Passover she substituted fresh, sweet pineapple. The kitchen made the wrong style omelette and the server brought an order of fries while waiting. Everything was steamy hot and fresh. Great place for breakfast!

Great breakfast, nice staff and didn’t break the breakfast bank. Three egg omelette. Had the veggie omelet with home fries and biscuit. Options for egg whites and egg beaters too. Meal so big I shared it with my hub after he finished his sunny side up eggs and sausage. Biscuits are toasted and buttery flavored. Fast service. Son enjoyed the Spanish omelet. Red and white tile walls. TVs, clean and fast. And your cup of coffee never goes cold. Thanks!

I love diners so whenever I travel I seek them out. Would highly recommend Coaches Corner. Food and service was in the traditional diner style with the bottomless cup of coffee. A great way to start the day in Ocean City.

We stopped in on Monday morning and had a great breakfast. The waitress was great and friendly, and the food was very good. I ordered the chipped beef on biscuits and my girlfriend had the eggs and grits. The portions were very generous and the prices were very reasonable. The only thing that would made the meal absolutely perfect would be if they served Coke products instead of Pepsi!

This is the most pleasant family involved place I have ever seen! The food is out of sight, and the staff is so pleasant and attentive. The chef is not only great at his job, but his people skills are real and from the heart. If you want a total dining experience, go to Coach’s! Rev Lydia E

Overall: Great, friendly service with some diner goods. The good: Very friendly service that treats you like family. The prices are good and the food came out reasonably fast after we ordered. Portion sizes were good. The bad: The food is very average. Wasn’t very hot and was nothing special. Wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great. Limited menu. Service, while friendly, failed several times to bring drinks and other side items. Atmosphere: 7⁄10 Service: 8⁄10 Food: 7⁄10

Sometimes you just need some comfort food which is normally very easy to prepare and quick to make. Here is what makes a place like this different. First, my family was immediately greeted with a smile and friendly atmosphere. I cant recall her name, but our waitress seemed to be the happiest and friendliest waitress that I have ever seen. She made me feel good about the day ahead. That is how good she was. Extremely attentive with our food, coffee and water. I think we gave her an incredible tip. Second, the food was good. Again, not hard to make this kind of food, so I consider it a win when restaurants get it right. Third, the owner comes by our table and asks if everything was OK for us. It was, and we immediately start talking about the news of the day. He guesses that I am military and immediately takes the check off our table and has them recompute for a 10% discount. When walking out to the car, I notice that the marquee is thanking all Veterans. Not being a military town, I completely wasn’t expecting this and I wasn’t expecting the friendly conversation. He explained how the restaurant got the name and how his family works there. Great story. Fourth, we told the waitress that we were trying to figure out the hours of another local business and that we wanted to go there later in the day. Without us knowing, one of the employees looked on the computer and got us the working hours for another restaurant in OC. Incredible attentiveness to a customer. Fifth, an older couple arrived at another table close to us. It was obvious that the older man was having some sort of trouble and needed a glass of orange juice for his blood sugar. Our waitress immediately jumped on it and got it quickly. They put what seemed to be a TON of sugar in the OJ, and he was fine. This is a classic example of how a place that has no frills good comfort food, can trump other places and gain your loyalty. I would highly recommend for breakfast.

I’ve heard good things about this place so wife and I gave it a try today. I had 3 pancakes with side order of sausage, the pancakes were light and fluffy and as big as the plate(I only needed 2) and the sausage was good also. Wifey had creamed chipped beef over toast. There was a plate full and she liked it, the potatoes however were delicious. We will definitely be back

This place should be the text book of a family-owned business done right. My friends and I were in the city for the H2Oi car festival. Despite hurricane Joaquin hitting hard, we didn’t give into the fearful weather. The first morning was accompanied by hangovers and serious hunger pangs. Before we could enjoy the cars, we needed food. We walked south four blocks from our condo and saw two diners, on the ocean and bay side respectively. The one on the bayside was packed, and very traditionally styled. The one on the ocean side was a little more unassuming. What captured my attention was the man outside waving an «Open» sign in the wind. He would turn out to be the owner and manager. He greeted our at-the-time haggard group with uncommon friendliness. It was really refreshing. We went inside and were again greeted with the nicest hostesses. We were seated right away. It was clear that we were the only non-locals at the restaurant, judging by the age demographic and and attire of the other patrons. This didn’t affect our service in the slightest. Our party of 6 was served coffee and tea immediately. Our waitress was patient with taking our orders. Everything arrived unbelievably hot and fast, even by diner standards. The group had nothing but good things to say about the food. Fluffy pancakes, crispy and thick bacon, just perfect eggs, properly toasted rye bread, and home fries to die for. Our waitress was never too far away or distant, and always willing to get whatever we needed. I had a great time chatting with the staff about their business. They even asked how to best attract more patrons during the weekend, and took our suggestions right away! We ate breakfast there for the next two mornings and had just as great of an experience. I can’t recommend this place enough, whether you’re there for H2Oi or otherwise.

First of all… EVERYONE was SO nice! Our server, Karen, was really great. Attentive and accommodating. The food was good. Definitely diner quality. Simple with good flavor. Nothing fancy. Worth every penny and very reasonably priced. My family and I will be back on our next visit to OC!

We had a great breakfast here! Everyone was very friendly as well. I had two eggs, toast, bacon and home fries. Hubby had a meat omelette, toast and home fries. The food is very good, the bacon just how I like it! Crispy but not burnt. They give you a lot of food, too! Each one of our home fries on the side had to have been a whole potato. Excellent!

Hands down best breakfast in Ocean City. Owned and operated by 2 generations of OC Locals. Waffles are to die for. This is a must hit for breakfast while you are there. Martin and Jenny are the owners and always welcoming when you arrive. New location too!!!
