I always look forward to the pizza here. White pizza is amazing. The staff is always friendly. Have eaten at Big Slice several times and it never disappoints. I highly recommend

Big slice has accomplished what most pizza places have not-making a big slice of pizza that’s not all flaccid and gross. The structural integrity of said big slice was not compromised, which resulted in a big slice of deliciousness. I got a slice of white pizza with tomato and basil. It was great Boardwalk pie and super garlicky which I am all about. My dad ordered beef gravy fries, which were not great. Due in part to the fact that they weren’t beef gravy but pork gravy instead, which is too thin to be dumping on fries. The fries themselves were great, however, and served with some other accoutrement I’m sure would be enjoyable. The menu has lots to choose from including sandwiches that looked to be delightful. Big slice comes highly recommended by this Boardwalk pizza connoisseur. I will be back!

After I had a slice of manco and manco that didn’t live up to the hype I was still hungry. Tried a BIG slice. Didn’t expect much. I was very surprised. Insanely big slice. Thin crust. Wood oven. Great sauce. Recommended.

OMG… this Pizza is horrible. The place is big and noisy which is fine but how could a place that calls themselves BIGSLICE have such terrible pizza. There are 15 other places on the boadwalk and all are better.

Was dying for good macaroni. Stumbled upon this place on the boardwalk. The gravy(or as some call it sauce) was unbelievably awesome. As good as homemade from the garden. Wish I had the recipe. This is a must try place

You can’t please every customer who walks through the door and you can’t always be perfect, so you should be able to admit to a mistake and take care of it. My husband just returned from there and said his food tasted like dishwater. He sent it back and they could not take it off the bill as the«owner» was not there. Then when he went to pay, the credit card machine was not working. Forty-six dollars for an entrée sent back, two slices of pizza, fries, and a hot dog. The waitress… barely there.

If I could give zero stars I would. My daughter ordered spaghetti and meat balls with garlic bread. The meat balls were mushy, the sauce was sweet and watery, at least she enjoyed the garlic bread. I ordered beef fries, what I got was fries with tasteless au jus well I don’t even think it could be called that. It was like grease not gravy. And sadly for my husband he starved. He ordered a chicken parm sandwich, took a bite and it was cold. We sent it back. Someone whom I presume to be the owner was the most IGNORANTSOB I have ever seen in a restaurant. Since we sat by the grill, I could see what he was doing and first he tapped the middle of the sandwich with his finger all I could think was don’t bring that back to us after u played with it, but it got worse because he then took the whole cutlet and squished it between his fingers and hand. The waitress who didn’t bring my cup of ice when asked, who said she would be back after the check and we had to chase her down, then came back and said he said it wasn’t cold. She asked if he wanted anything else but at this point why give this crappy place anymore money? I am from Philly and for this place to claim to be the best of Philly is a total JOKE. If this was the last place on earth to eat, I’d rather starve.

Ordered a 20 in pie for 4 people. Enough for 2 slices a person. Thin slice pizza not bad for the large size but the sauce was sweet. If your not into sweet sauce I don’t recommend. We ate it but we weren’t fans of that. When you have to throw in too many condiments to eat it your not in love with it. Room for large groups. We originally stopped it cause they had a bathroom for customers.

Huge slices with a variety of toppings. Eggplant slice and plain slice were good. Sauce is on the sweet side and that’s not my thing but others enjoyed. Slices run $ 4 and up but one is enough for most. Fries were undercooked and bland. Not sure how you mess up fries.

Worst on Boardwalk is right. This place is what is wrong with the Jersey Shore these days. Owner is a disgrace to small business owners. Rude, loud, disrespectful and arrogant in front of small children, and almost seemed as if he enjoyed every minute of it. Staff also was very untrained and unattentive to any tables. Food was halfway decent, but we had to leave cause we were just so upset. Our kids dont want to come back to the beach anymore because of this place. Sad. Eat at Manco Mancos. Very friendly. Dont lose hope for OCNJ, just pass on Big Slice… Happy Summer to all!

Pizza was surprisingly good. Sauce is sweet and I like that. It was very busy when we arrived and the staff worked hard and fast, but everyone was disorganized. HOWEVER, the reason for my two star review… This place is loaded with kids. Ocean City is a family focused beach town. There was some sort of manager(middle aged, tattooed, wearing Phillies hat) cursing in every other sentence. He was behind me talking to staff and the owner(I presume) using that language with 12 kids an ear shot away. And it wasn’t one slip. It was plenty. I heard another staff member do the same. Now I don’t have kids(but I was there with kids) nor am I uptight, but I think most parents paying for a meal on vacation with their children would rather not hear cursing from the staff.

Two star average is generous for this place. Biggest gimmick on the boardwalk. Slices are barely topped with anything. They toss your pizza around like a dish rag, even holding it vertically(nothing falls off because there really isn’t anything on it) as they flop it onto the plank to put it in the oven. Pizza is ok at best. Owner was there yapping about rotating others off the schedule so she could put the new cute girl on the front line. This place cares about nothing except getting in your wallet.

So, I’m not sure if we went on a really good night based on the other reviews, but just had a pretty good experience this evening at Big Slice. My husband and I were actually headed to another large slice place on the boardwalk when we smelled this super garlicky, herby smell wafting from Big Slice. It looked like they were displaying some different white pizzas so we opted to each have a slice. We sat at the counter and were quickly asked for our orders and had our food fairly soon after. The white pizza was really good. It was definitely what we smelled from the boards and we didn’t regret our decision to get our dinner. But I’m pretty sure that I’m currently a vampire’s worst nightmare currently. Being at the counter once we got our food and paid we were left to our own devices which is how it typically is. We paid a little more than $ 10 for the two of us which is typical for boardwalk fare. We’d come back again, but stick to a white slice!

My husband and I use to really enjoy this place! This past summer we have noticed that the pizza has changed. The sauce has no flavor. We went again though to give it another try. The service was horrible! We had someone in our group who ordered pasta and it was watery. Someone ordered a a panini and was just ok. The rest of us got slices that again had no flavor. The owner was seating people as it was crowded but boy was he moody. People would ask why they had been waiting for seats after 15 min and he did not try to apologize but instead make them feel like it was the customers fault. I saw one table get up and leave because they sat for 10 min and never got served. I heard 2 other tables complain that no one had come to get their order. Not sure if this was just a bad night but I know I’m done with them since the pizza was not good and I didn’t like how the owner handled his business under pressure.

We were in Ocean City, NJ for the day. My son loves pizza and the menu had some decent options as I was not in the mood for pizza. I ordered a chicken panini, my wife ordered a chicken pizza with bacon and we got my son a plain pizza. My panini wasn’t bad. The chicken was a little dry, but I enjoyed it. Their pizza on the other hand is terrible if you ask me. It’s too crispy. At first glance, it reminds you of good ol’ New York pizza, but it doesn’t taste that great. Aside from the food, service was sub-par. Once our waitress brought our orders to the table, we were pretty much on our own until it was time for her to give us our bill. Overall, the place is not terrible, but just like the rating, meh, I’ve experienced better. The next time we’re on Ocean City, I’ll dine someplace else.

Terrible. Terrible service. The owner is a jerk and was a jerk to my friends and children. Long wait and the food was terrible. I would go hungry before I eat there.

Best pizza on the boardwalk. The service is great, and don’t be afraid to try their Italian entrees. The pasta is fantastic and buffalo chicken salad is superb as well. After years of being a loyal Mac and Manco’s fan, this place has stolen my heart.

No way would I ever pay $ 8 for a slice, don’t care how good. Nothing is as exciting as manco manco here. But despite the tourist trap pricing, we had a very nice waitress and a very large pizza and drinks for 6 came to about $ 35. Two slices were actually filling for me, and they needed two plates side by side to even fit. I’ll be generous and give 2.5 stars.

I normally read reviews before I walked in restaurants. So this is my fault. The chicken parm sandwich was awful. Bread was cold barely and cheese, no sauce(i had to get extra sauce) The pizza is ok. But the waitress here are just not friendly. One waitress past me by twice before the other waitress attended to me which was not better. The only reason this place gets patronage is because of the long wait at the surrounding pizzerias. Next time just wait. It’s with it!
