Wow I am a business owner for over 30 yrs and If would have treated any of my customers like my son and I were treated tonight I would of been out of business 29 yrs ago We walked I and was greeted by a mid 30s DB saying we are closed very rudely with and with attitude when there were customers still in the store n stood there blocking us From going in I asked him if we can just grab an vinyl album that my son saw their 20 mins before but did not have enough money for the album that he wanted wich was $ 90.00 He was very persistent and preceded to tell me that he was closed n come back 2 marro morning I then Told him that I would never come back for the way we were treated My son and I went back to our hotel n went on line and found the same vinyl on line for $ 48.00 So not only rude arrogant sales person but a rip off too I never write reviews but I felt I had too Would not be surprised if they r not there next year

My new favorite shop on the OCNJ Boardwalk! Walked out of here with tons of awesome vinyl at reasonable prices and could have walked with more. Staff was super helpful when asked but didn’t bother me while I browsed which is a plus in my opinion. This place has quality finds if you’re willing to dig. You Dig?

This is perhaps the worst businesses that I’ve ever patronized. The store employees were so overtly racist that I felt a little nauseous(and angered). I did not appreciate their lack of assistance(while going out of their way to help the white customers). I will never step foot in this place again and highly advise the reader to not do business with Shore Things.

I don’t go down the shore very often, but I have many a memory of telling my family that i’d be right back while they did something boring and I’d run down the boardwalk to this little place that almost seems like your run of the mill boardwalk souvenir shop on the outside, but inside, nestled in the back, is almost an entirely different store. I remember my first time in here i was maybe 15 or 16 and i scooped up my first Blood Brothers cd(burn piano island burn… duh). Bins of records(more on the pricey side, cause it’s a tourist town and there’s not much competition) that have a surprisingly extensive selection. A lot of more rare stuff on the walls, too. Lots of cds if you still buy those. There’s also, like I said, more souvenir-esque stuff here. But it’s not much different from the rest of the stores on the boardwalk without this beautiful music collection in the back. Try not to overlook this place.
