Avoid this place if you want good food! The restraunt is conveniently located on the boardwalk and by better eating establishments. The seating options are average but wouldn’t recomend eating here if you have a party of more then four people. Their famous pit beef is dry and tasteless. I tried to season it with their sauces which didn’t do anything because they had no taste. Their bread was chewy and boarderline stale. The fries were average at best. Over all not worth the money. Also, it is cash only.

I have been going to the Bull on the Beach for many years now. I can honestly say I have always had great service and good food. I’m a potato person and nothing beats their potato skins. Their Pitt Beef sandwhiches are the bomb as well. The kids never seem to have an issue with finding something on their menu that floats their boat!

The day I plan to eat here, I save up all day… the open pit beef sandwiches are the best I’ve ever had. I’ll also take part in the tremedous raw bar they have. I’ve had the intention of trying a steak there, and just can’t seem to get away from ordering the open pit sandwich. I’ve seen them served though, and they look mouth watering. This place has certainly turned into a tradition for me and my family.

Not necessarily the finest pit beef to be had in Maryland, but an all around solid restaurant that offers a mix of beach and bar food at reasonable prices. This location is handy if you’re stuck in traffic getting into OC. Grab an outdoor table, a couple of cold ones, and a handful of pit beef. And watch the traffic jam slowly unwind. For those not familiar with Maryland Pit Beef, it’s basically thinly sliced grilled top round — it’s not barbecue. No low-and-slow smoking is involved(unless the pitmaster has a habit). It’s served on a kaiser roll with horseradish. It’s terribly good and you should try some immediately. The other food is what you’d expect for an OC bar/restaurant — steak, burgers, various sandwiches, and salads. The kids’ menu is bog-standard, which is kind of the point of kids’ menus. Service was above average — the waitress checked on us regularly and seemed to know her stuff even though she was probably about twelve. Geez, I’m getting old. Three stars — in a good way. But if you really want to try pit beef the Maryland way, you need to head up to the Canopy(Glen Burnie) or Expressway Pit Beef(Odenton). Or find a state fair or scary guy with a rundown shack on the side of the road.

The food was good, we all ordered beef sandwiches. My husband ordered some mess with friend jalapenos, my son the beef wrap and I ordered a sandwich with swiss and mushrooms. My little guy, chicken tenders. We also got an order of the steamed shrimp. All in all good food(our beef was tender and quite flavorful) the service was great. BUT.jesus k-rist almost 70 bucks for a family of four? I know it’s the beach but 2.25 for a small cup of soda? So. Food — Good, Service — Good. Prices.not so good

6÷27÷09 I have loved Bull on the Beach for years. On a whim, we went for dinner. GF-2 kids & me. We ordered 2 Pit Beef sandwiches with onions, mayo & horseradish on the side. Medium. Our sandwiches came but no onions. The friendly, inept waiter brought them later. Fries came with the sandwich. They were chilly. We also ordered a Hot roast beef sandwich with gravy. This was the same as the other sandwiches but with gravy. We also ordered Wings-naked with hot sauce on the side. We got very wet, soft wings drenched in hot sauce. We sent them back and were rewarded with crispy wings about 10 minutes later. We also ordered Shrimp –which were ok. The beer –Y was cold.

The«Open Pit Beef sandwich» was the pits. I expected pulled/shredded beef resembling smoke and/or BBQ flavor with pulled beef. Instead, my sandwich had more in common with an Arby’s roast beef except with helping of extra awful. The meat was dry and there was not a hint of smoke or dollop of BBQ sauce to be found. The mac and cheese and their french fries were edible. Still, avoid. at all costs… avoid.

I have been going to this place at least once per vacation and have never been disappointed. Staff is local and speaks fluent English. Food is prepared right. Coconut shrimp was fresh, not frozen. Ribs were ummmm so good and fell off the bone. Drinks were spot on. What more can I say. It is a local family owned business that actually cares about its local reputation. If you ever lived at a shore community you know that if the locals love the place then it is GOOD!
