Best donuts I’ve ever had! My favorite has to be the French toast for now. Still plenty of combinations I have to try.

Best doughnuts on the coast @ an amazing price. $ 10.50 for a dozen After having breakfast here we fell in love we even had to get ½ a dozen to take home and share with our kids. Who loved them as well !

I don’t give 5 stars easily. And donut is something, that you wouldn’t think you could make it better,(except for the flavors) but they did it. Those soft, warm, squishy donuts that melt in your mouth, seriously, great. All flavors we got were pretty good. After visiting this place, we looked up if there was a branch near our house, turned out there was, which closed very recently, and now we are a little disappointed.

Finally got around to trying out a Fractured Prune Donut, but honestly… I just don’t get the hype? I tried a couple of different donuts and brought them back to my family, but the only real thing that we liked about the donuts were that they were served warm. The flavors weren’t totally on point… and the lines were extremely long. I’ve had much better donuts at other places, so I think I will probably just rather go there than here in the future.

Dunkin’ who??? This morning I enjoyed my first ever Fractured Prune donut. It was amazing! It was a French Toast donut. Why have I never heard of these wonderful folks before! Donuts this fabulous should be known about everywhere. They are served fresh made! Warm! Delicious! I am now a big fan and will visit anytime I am in the area.

Love me some donuts. By far the best donut on the planet. Fresh made and warm while you wait Options — they have a million different combinations between the glazes and the toppings. I love a lot of their creations. Rolo is my favorite. Be prepared to have a chocolatie face after you eat staff — Staff are quick and efficient. When you order they write your order on the inside of the box. This is helpful for when you get home, remembering the creations you came up with. Then they give you a playing card as your number. What an easy idea. Will definitely be back. Finger licking good.

The donuts were still piping hot when we got them! Nice and fluffy– perfect for starting off the day. Definitely try the ocean city sand donut– so so so good! They would have gotten 5 stars if the service was a little more friendly– the person we had to take our order out right told us he didn’t like the donuts… Hmmm… Discouraging We are glad we tried the donuts. Yummy!

Don’t know if they are the best ever but sure beat Dunkin donuts Just remember this place is cash only and on a busy morning expect to wait to order although they are usually fast moving

Best doughnuts ever. Cooked fresh while you wait. This is a must have for my family on our annual trip to Ocean City. I love picking from their creations and making our own. Great flavor choices and topping choices.

Great doughnuts, friendly service! You can get anything from simple glazed doughnut to one of their speciality doughnuts or create your own. Always fresh and warm! It doesn’t get better than this! There are usually coupons in the local books too.

Sorry Fractured Prune, but I’ve had better. Sugar Shack in Richmond and Duck Donuts have bigger selections, bigger donuts, and smaller prices. I’m pretty sure they’re the only option in the area for«gourmet» style donuts though, and you could certainly do a lot worse. Recommended, in the absence of other options…

THEBESTDONUTSEVER! If you haven’t had it and are in the area definitely try it. Be mindful that they don’t accept credit cards at most of the locations so bring cash.

Still my favorite food on earth nothing beats fresh hot doughnuts with your choice of glaze and toppings. I strongly recommend eating them while still hot!

Delicious! Donuts in just about every flavor. During this visit I had the Banana Nut Muffin donut, others in my group had Death by Chocolote and Reeses donuts. Donuts are made to order so it is a little bit of a wait but definitely worth it. Also, bring cash. They don’t accept credit cards.

I’m absolutely in love with the fresh, hot doughnuts served at the Fractured Prune on the Northern end of Ocean City. They are delicious and I’ve never had to wait very long for my order at this location, unlike the locations nearer to Division street. There is a huge variety of doughnuts here,(perhaps more than in other locations,) and the staff was very helpful. Another patron accidentally left with my order, and one of the FP employees followed him into the parking lot so that my order wasn’t lost. My only complaint is that during my last visit, an employee mistakenly gave me half a dozen Carnival doughnuts instead of Blueberry Hill doughnuts. Fortunately, both varieties are super tasty and I wasn’t disappointed by the mixup. I recommend this location’s signature doughnut– the OC Sand. Super delicious if eaten hot.

Great donuts and truth be told if I hadn’t recently gone to Sidecar Donuts in Newport Beach, CA, I probably would’ve given them a higher rating. The donuts themselves are pretty good, probably on par with Krispy Cream Donuts. What sets aside Punctured Prune, besides the fact that they cook the donuts fresh when ordered, is the dipping options they have, giving so many different flavor options. We ordered a French Toast, Lemonade, Rolo, Key Lime Pie, Carnival, and Blueberry. All good and listed in order of personal preference. All the donuts were packed up and served to us warm.

Cool place. The kids loved the idea that they could pick from all the fun combinations and make their own flavor of donut. The donuts are a bit extra greasy for my taste but … It IS a donut after all. The flavors are fun and so is the concept.

While on a quick weekend family getaway to Ocean City Maryland, I really wanted some doughnuts Sunday morning. I Unilocaled Fractured Prune beforehand and it was a perfect time to try some, plus the 17 minute walk from the hotel could couldn’t hurt. Fractured Prune’s doughnuts are made to order on the spot(you can actually see the workers cook them) and this means you get a freshly fried doughnut which was confirmed by the oil stains that slowly started seeping through the box. I ordered half a dozen doughnuts which I shared with family. My selections consisted of the following: –Plain Jane: This is Fractured Prune’s plain/naked doughnut and it was decent. My gripe is that you get a fairly strong taste of the oil used to fry the doughnuts. Maybe it’s just that the doughnut was literally minutes out of the fryer, but I found the taste of oil(tasted like peanut oil) slightly overpowering and took away from the actual taste of the doughnut. This was present in all of the favors but more pronounced in the Plain Jane since it has no added glazes. –Banana Nut Bread: It was really tasty as I enjoyed the added crunchy texture the peanut bits added. Banana glaze flavor really didn’t come through though. –Blueberry Hill: It was okay with the blueberry flavor being fairly mild and a little artificial tasting IMO. –French Toast: The maple glaze wasn’t that flavorful as I tasted more of the cinnamon sugar coating. –Ms. Prunella: Figures the one with the weirdest name would taste the best, as this one surprised me with it’s nice berry glaze and caramelized crust that was really tasty… the best of the bunch! –O.C. Sand: This was the one I kind of eyed beforehand and it was alright. Like the above doughnuts, the honey glaze flavor didn’t come through the cinnamon sugar and oil flavor. Fractured Prunes doughnuts are good, but I believe the cooking technique could be tweaked a bit; as the oil flavor could be a result of maybe too hot an oil temperature, the doughnut frying oil not allowed to drain after coming out of the fryer, or maybe a inexperienced cook? Definitely try to eat these fresh, as I’m thinking these doughnuts would probably not taste all that good after cooling down or after sitting for a while as that oil flavor would just get stronger. Some good and some bad, but better than most Dunkin Donuts. Tip: Make sure you get there early, as while I had the luxury of being the first customer Sunday morning; a good 15+ customers started coming in right after me.

Ever feel like waffles are too plain? French toast leaving your sweet tooth hankering for something more? Ever wish you could eat a funnel cake for breakfast? If so, this is the place for you. Their donuts come hot out of the fry grease into over a dozen different kinds of sugar based toppings to spike your glucose levels to an all time high. If you couldn’t tell I felt as though the donuts were extremely sweet, like eating a kids cereal then adding extra sugar, or a pixie stick for good measure. Not quite my speed, it seems as though they ride a lot of the positive publicity they’ve gotten in the past, but for me, my experience with the fractured prune was very lackluster.
