Neat local establishment. I know the places on the Boardwalk get all the glory, but check out the places in town — like Jake’s.

Augusta, ME
This is THE BEST place to get water ice, gelato, and ice cream on a hot day. I come here at least once a summer to enjoy their cold delicacies. Also, at night you can enjoy a movie behind the shop and there is weekly trivia. If you ever get a chance, try the sea spray flavor. Although it may not sound too good, it is by far the best option on the menu!
