Can appreciate that this Minit Market is open 24 – 7, especially when I arrive in to town on a Friday evening and every grocery store/convenience store/drug store is closed along Coastal Highway. Minit Market had everything from food, snacks, tampons, baby food, baked good(including peanut butter filled donuts). which I am extremely interested in trying, and more. Overall, its the place to go if you run out of drinks and need something good to munch on during the late hours, when nothing else is open.

Where’s the moider powder? Where’s the white lightnin’? Mini Market has it all! I love Mini Market! Amazing!!! On the outside, you’d think this place is for extra-chromosome-toting toot-scribblers who watch Red Fox on tv, but they have the best donuts east of the Euphrates River. I done ate 5 donuts at once. Get the one with the Ke$ha sprinkles. I bought a bunch of produce, but those $ 5 strawberries are definitely not for welfare pimps. The employees here are this store’s greatest asset.

Thanks to my cousins recommendation on their donuts, we just had to stop by there and try some. Who would have thought this non descript market makes some really good donuts!!! They are made fresh every morning and after 6PM, they offer 2 for 1 donuts. They are more of a cake type donuts like fractured prune. Well at least the ones I’ve tried. Their cinnamon rolls looked great and are huge! Give it a try. Some tasty donuts. Will have to try their fried chicken too.

I decided to check this place out because I found it on Unilocal and I likes the many reviews that touted its many homemade specialties; fries chicken, breakfast sandwiches, donuts, and deli. We needed baby Tylenol/ibuprofen for teething baby, hotdogs(vaca bribe for the kids), and a few donuts couldn’t hurt either. It was a very quick walk from the hotel and right near the Jolly Roger(kids were super excited). Outside looks super dumpy but inside it is clean, well organized and stocked, and everyone was super friendly. We found everything we needed, at reasonable prices. We watched them make their first batch of donuts and the kids got to pick out their topping too. The gentleman behind the counter was wonderful with them and I enjoyed the conversation while the smell of fresh donuts waiffed through the air. Their deli and fresh meats looked good, a score for people with a full kitchen and grill. They have a well stocked grocery(and all the infant and children’s medicine you need on vaca), they also have fresh fruit and veggies too(including local corn). The breakfast sandwich I got was awesome, tons of bacon. I’m coming back at lunch for their fried chicken since they’re batting 100% right now. Also, their beer and wine are also well priced, as an example, their real sangria is a few dollars less than the competition.

Wonderful fresh donuts, tasty home style and freshly made bread pudding, convenience store items and groceries, and meats/cheeses and such that are handy for those that have kitchen facilities available during their stays at the beach. The donuts are really, really good. Freshly made, and very tasty. The sticky buns are good sized and also taste wonderful. The bread pudding was a nice find as I noticed the staff cutting up bread for making a fresh batch and then went back just in time to catch some warm and fresh out of the oven(which then was taken back to give to my wife, my parents, and my stepson and his wife and son). Grocery store prices are fair. Not great, but not bad. Mostly what one would expect given the convenience of having a store fairly closely located to the condo and time share units in the area. Plenty of drink selection as well, though competition up and across the street from Anthony’s beer & wine probably has nothing to fear. If you are looking for the donuts or the sticky buns, get to the store early as they sell fast. Personal preference, I like them much better than the(in my mind) over-rated Fractured Prune’s products.

This place doesn’t have curb appeal. However, because Unilocalers liked their fried chicken we tried it. The fried chicken was just made and was delicious.

5 stars based on the only thing I’ve ever bought there — the doughnuts. They are truly excellent and the key is to get there between 7−8am when there’s still a good supply. They might sell coffee, I don’t know. If not I think there’s a McDonald’s next door.

I am surprised to find that not many Unilocalers had reviewed this place yet. I think this grocery shop caters mainly to the locals. The thing to get is their fried chicken. Very thin crust and fried perfectly! They spiced it just right and the chicken is a pretty normal size. I always ordered their 24 pieces for $ 32. But their chicken always sells out and expect to wait 20 minutes. I also got their sandwiches. Wow, they are big! I think my turkey club was over 1 ½ inches of meat. This is truly a hidden gem of OC.
