I absolutely adore this place! The workers are all extremely kind and friendly. The store is small but they make the most of the space they have. Just about anything you need on vacation the have and probably have options. The food is on point, the portions are plentiful, and it’s made right in front of you. Me and my friends probably spent $ 1K in here in a week, no lie. They do confiscate fake ID’s and will not give them back. It’s an OCMD favorite!

This place is good one hour and awful the next. Portion sizes are inconsistent(sometimes you get more than you pay for, other times you don’t get enough, other times things are missing all together), service is inconsistent(sometimes it’s nice/decent, sometimes it’s rude and takes forever). If they could get it together and be consistent, that would be awesome. I’d love to order food from here, but I never know if it’s going to be good or horrible. I’d rather not take the chance. Hope they get their stuff together soon.

This place is awesome! Great sandwiches and a savior after a night with a bachelor party. Sandwiches would be great anytime though. A must go for lunch dinner or late night.

Mitchell’s Market Wow! Trying to review Mitchell’s Market is tough. The benefit of Mitchell’s lies somewhere in its simplicity, proximity to the OC Skatepark, the off street parking, and of course its long standing late nite tradition in OCMD. The Food is A-OK, somewhat like a NYC bodega, the whole thing is akin to the big city, open 24 hrs serving the neighborhood, cold beer, oddball over priced dry goods, rolling papers, ect. I am not sure I would make a special trip to Mitchell’s, however, if I was done Skating and I wanted a 40& a Sub, or if I was passing by making the late night trek home, and I needed to fill my belly, yea Mitchell’s works.

OK3am comes around, and now you are hungry where can you get some good food??? MITCHELL’S MARKET. I was pleasantly surprised, ok there were a few drunks there but the workers were TOP Notch. I had a cheesesteak and a gyro. They are open 24 hrs. and the prices were so reasonable. it is on Philadelphia Ave around 4th and 5th street.

If I could give it no stars would be the truth. First we placed our order then we walked around to collect groceries waited in line for a couple of minutes to pay. After we paid we ended up waiting another 20 minutes for our food. That was only because I started complaining because everyone else that was coming in and ordering a cheesesteak or the chicken tender basket that I ordered was walking right back out with theirs within a few minutes! So the lady at the front desk tells me she’ll give me a free order of potato wedges. Then she tells me it wasn’t her fault it was the kitchen staffs fault and blah blah blah! We did not get the potato wedges like she promised! The food was not great like stated it was soggy and nasty! My order was wrong and the kids wouldn’t even eat theirs. You would think after spending $ 70 at a place you would get decent customer service!

Everyone raves about the Cheesesteak but the fact is every sandwich you get here is fantastic. The Italian Sub is loaded with meat and sauce. There is a nice selection of drink items also but if you are anywhere near 5th Street, go over to Mitchells and get a sandwich. Did I mention that they are open 24HOURS? Friendly staff, awesome sandwiches(they run around $ 8-$ 10 but worth it) and walking distance to the beach.

Another vote for the best #OceanCity Cheesesteak, and I’ve lived in Philly, so finding a cheesesteak as good is not easy to do. Folks that work there are terrific too, always friendly and very helpful. You’ll love this place!

Best cheesesteak outside of Philly! I’ve eaten«Philly Cheesesteaks» all over the country and Mitchell’s Market does it right. The only thing they were missing was the whiz, but they still gave you a steamed Amoroso roll stuffed to the brim with greasy meat smothered in onions and American cheese then wrapped up super tight in foil before being handed to you. I haven’t been there in almost 7 years though, so I’m not sure if they’re up to par still, but when I went it was one of the best cheesesteak experiences I’ve had!

They do have the best cheesesteaks in ocean city maryland. The nepalese girl who cooks them does it the best. But apart from that the prices of other stuff are really expensive.
