Went to this place last night, and was not impressed. They inside was much like a dirty, slimy dive bar. Pictures of women’s breasts and butt lined the perimeter of the inside. It was disgusting. The drinks were overpriced and were served in rinky-dink little cups. The karaōke host was loud and rude. Some people thought he was funny, but I found him to be extremely disrespectful and vulgar. To top it all off, there were flies everywhere!!! We ended up leaving just to get away from the flies that were buzzing around our heads.

This is the best karaōke anywhere. I tell The Badboy every year that I want him to come down to Florida and do shows at my bar, which he does when his wife and him come down for vacation. It’s immediately apparent he loves to entertain people. Always with a smile on his face and does anything he can, including making a fool of and fun of himself, just to get somebody to laugh. We make a trip every year, not to see the beach, but to enjoy the entertainment from this guy. The bar is on the smaller side, but the staff is always friendly and the Badboy makes it feel like a frat party for everybody involved. He even got an 80-year-old woman to get up and sing for the first time when we were there the last time. Making her feel like she was 21 years old all over again. We can’t say enough good things about him and the fun times we have when we come to the sandbar because of him.

The Sandbar is a divey karaōke bar off the Coastal Highway in OCMD. It has decent drink specials and overall is fun place to check out. We went here on a Sunday in the summer and it had a decent crowd, not too packed but there was enough brave souls who were willing to go up and sing on stage. The host was pretty entertaining and the stage was a decent size with a small area to dance. They also have 2 pool tables for those who are looking for a more leisurely activity. Bathrooms are a little dirty, but the rest of the place is in decent shape. The sandbar is a unique bar from the rest off the Coastal Highway and would check it out again.

This is pretty much the only place for karaōke in the OC. I wish there were more!!! The place is great with decent prices and great bartenders, But the DJ sucks the big one!!! I only check in twice but this is my third time going there, spent hours and never got to sing my songs. My wife is a ringer, she sings like an angel but HENOLIKES and lets all the terrible hoe trains sing song after song, that’s not cute… Never going back Gonna buy a karaōke machine and sing in my room all night. Try it out yourselves people. I told you so!!!

Made our second trip to The Sandbar in July, and we were not disappointed! In fact, I think I enjoyed myself more the second time around. I’m not sure anyone who had to hear me sing several songs would say the same though… ;) Love this place and hope to make it an annual tradition!

This is a awesome divey karaōke bar in Ocean City. As with all karaōke bars, the place is only going as fun as you make it though. If you’re ready to let loose, sing some songs and act a fool, this place will be great. If you’re afraid to sing or are uptight then you won’t enjoy this place. Came in with a group of 10 on a random Sunday night to close out our vacation and I don’t believe anybody in our group had a bad time. The MC was great, he was fun, easy going and more importantly kept the party moving. He kept the list right, he kept the stage filled and didn’t waste a lot of time making it all about him instead of the people who wanted to sing. The rest of the staff was cool too, the bartenders made decent drinks. The selection is limited but they work hard to give you strong booze. Awesome place and look forward to returning on my next trip to Ocean City.

we drove by this place on our vacation and decided to go in one night for fun. opens at 8pm but the karaōke starts at 10. We arrived a little after 9 and there was no sign of karaōke whatsoever, we were really confused! It’s a small, dive bar but once the karaōke started it was packed! average prices on drinks, and we had fun watching others make an ass of themselves :)

A large group of us went this past weekend and had a Fantastic time! One(and only) complaint we all pretty much shared was with the guy helming the Karayoke. Goes by «Rude Mike» and was very entertaining and great at keeping the flow going. BUT… his Way over-excessive use of the«F» word got really tiresome really fast. No prudes in our group and we all have Zero issue with dropping the F-bombs ourselves. «Hey motherfuckers; are you all having a fucking good time? I hope the fuck you are but fuck you if you aren’t» Unnecessary. Reminds me of when the FCC okayed it for D. J’s to say«God-damnit» on air, and one of our(at the time) local D.J.‘s(Don Geranimo) used to Death. Just because one Can say these things does not make it necessary to over-use it in the hopes of looking«edge». Rant aside: I very highly recommend the Sandbar. BTW: Karayoke starts at 10pm but get there by 9 to assure a prime seat.

Upon entering you’ll immediately take note of how dim this place can be. The highlight of this bar is karaōke and it is well done; with added light effects and smoke, it makes for a good stage. Also, all the guests present on our visit were really into it and decently talented so it was fun and lighthearted. However, as a bar, this place could use some serious work. The drinks are steeply priced and confusingly prepared, «shots» come out in 8oz. plastic cups with at least half a can of energy drink in each so, after about 4, you feel quite ill from all the carbonation and sugar. In short, the karaōke is fun but as a bar, you can definitely do better.
