My husband and I came here for some Italian food while on vacation. I got the fettuccine Alfredo. It was fine but I wouldn’t get it again. Almost tasted like there was too much flour. Husband got the meatball appetizer which he loved and pizza. Wait staff wasn’t anything to be thrilled about. They could be more personable.

The food is CLASSIC Italian, and just like classic Italian, the portions come HUGE. I arrived hungry, and still couldn’t finish my meal! We were there for a few days at a nearby hotel, and had 3 meals here. Everything we ordered was fantastic, and the staff couldn’t be better. The bartenders were quick and professional but also very friendly and we chatted while we ate– «family» environment comes to mind, and we were really treated like family here.
HIGHLY recommended. This isn’t a silly tourist spot, this is a real Italian restaurant that happens to be in a touristy area.

The food was excellent. I had the Fettuccine Alfredo w/​Shrimp and the boyfriend had the Chicken Parmigiano. The chicken was the size of a full plate!.. portions are generous. The 1 star was taken bc the wait for our for was a good 30 mins.

I had an average time. The location in ocean city is good. The place is recently renovated. The seating area felt odd like it was missing something. Maybe a rug or carpet. Chair seating didn’t match tables. Was not comfortable to sit. Kind of loud. The food was okay. The plates were large and I was full. Very expensive. Waiter was average. My water cup sat empty and I was thirsty. Needed a refill but he didn’t come. Just trying to give an honest assessment.

Pizaa was ok, we had our drinks after the food arrived and we ask again for the drinks
Ravioli was not cooked well plus they messed my order twice than I canceled it

People are very friendly, Love that environment. And the food are Delicious. Definitely coming back for more!!!

We have stayed in the Holiday Inn Oceanfront many times. It is nice to have such a good restaurant right in the hotel. Never went to the restaurant for breakfast, but did order room service which was very good. They make delicious sandwiches for lunch & the dinners are huge & very tasty. Nice little bakery also for pastries & cookies. Nice & friendly staff. Does get very busy in the summer months, I would suggest reservations.

Okay so, I came here with some family we go in Nice so far. We sit down order Calamari It was Disgusting! Cold and not cooked well! We immediately left after the calamari disaster. And to top it all off The manager Did Not Give Any Shit about us.

Went here for our anniversary dinner while we were in Ocean City. The food we ordered was great. While we waited for a table (make reservations) we sat at the bar. Both bar tenders were very nice and helpful. When we got to a table (about a 15 minute wait) our server was nice and friendly. Since we were looking at menus while at the bar we knew what we wanted but the sever was very nice in making some suggestions and answering a few other questions we had. Most definitely will try to go back next time we are in town, but we would make reservations.

I born in Italy, i’m italian and this place is just amazing. Food very good and i love the market place where i can get italian cheese and stuff.

3.5 stars. We had a $ 100 gift card from staying at the hotel attached. The first night we stayed we got dinner here, had calamari (not crispy enough for me, the dipping sauce was good, I liked to added parm. to it) the cheese dip (came in a mini cast iron skillet, still hardened up extremely fast we didn’t eat much of it) and one of their specialty pizzas (can also make your own style pizza) was pretty good. The fresh bread had sesame seeds on top and flavors, dipped it in olive oil. The next morning we had room service from here, 18%gratuity and $ 2 tip automatically added. The eggs Benedict and bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich were delicious. The hash browns were unseaoned and soft, didn’t care for them. Although the menu says you get hash browns and a choice of breakfast bread, we were told later on that the «choice» is actually what came with the meal not additional. (Meaning the croissant in the sandwich and the foccacia bread in the benedict are all you get without additional charge.) We had breakfast with them again the last day, unfortunately we arrived 15 – 20 min before 10am which is their breakfast close off time. We were seated, along with a mother and her 3 kids (they wanted the buffet). The breakfast was still good but the service was awful. We waited 10 minutes to be seen orders taken, and even longer after that to just get a glass of water. Mind you that they are trying to set up for lunch and not busy. We are pretty quick eaters, so after we finished and got the bill I noticed we had been charged $ 3 for each piece of breakfast bread (as mentioned above) at this point it’s 10:05. I mentioned it to the waitress she told me it’s because my meal already came with a bread I didn’t get choose, another 5min past and she was still looking for a manager to talk to. She came back then told me she would get a manager to come talk to me (I was not being rude nor planned to). 15 min later were still waiting, instead of a manager coming by she cane back with a new bill. We paid and left with minimum time to pack and leave (check out at hotel is 11am). Before leaving I still had money on gift card, bought a espresso martini (delicious) and a few items from deli.

Wow! This place is amazing. The food is really delicious and the atmosphere is very lovely. Forget the fudge when visiting Ocean City, stop in the for Italian cookies they are to die for. It was late so we got the mussels and a cheese dish for late night snacking. Both were fantastic. The cheese was smokey and flavorful. The mussels were cooked well and huge. The white wine and lemon were a perfect flavor profile. Our server explained stuff on the menu and was very nice. What a great evening, check this place out!

Came back to Touch of Italy for my work Christmas party. The served a meat and cheese plater and pizza as an appetizer. Main course was chicken parm, pasta, salad, and mixed vegetables. Desert was every and any cookie you could imagine.
You can’t go wrong with this place. Best Italian food on the Eastern Shore! Keep up the strong work!
Another outstanding meal

Excellent value with a menu that appeals to nearly any taste. For winter visitors to Ocean City this is highly recommended for warm ambiance and delicious plates.

I’m really surprised by all the high reviews. My husband and I made reservations for our 3^rd anniversary at Touch of Italy. It was convenient because we were staying at the hotel. The hostess and our waiter was great, very nice. However, I give this a low score because our food was bland. I chose the Shrimp Pesto and my husband picked the chicken parmesan. My husband equated the spaghetti to Chef Boyardee and while the serving size was large, the chicken cutlet was flavorless. There were three pieces of shrimp that I paid an extra $ 6 for. I’m not from the coast, but that still seems stiff. Don’t buy any of the $ 1 cookies, they are completely dry, bland and smell like play-​dough.
Overall, I don’t think I’ll be back.

During Labor Weekend in Maryland, I was expecting to have seafood through and through, but I was sure surprise of the quality the food in this Italian restaurant. Before I start the review I will like to give a shout out to our waitress, Julie, who was an amazing server.
We first start off with the Mussels in White Wine sauce, which was wonderful and the leftover sauce great for dipping for the bread served in the beginning. The prosciutto wrapped in mozzarella was a tad salty, but hey it is salted ham so go figure. Lastly, the calamari was our last appetizer which was quite crispy.
As for the entrees, My family order two thin-​crust pizzas, which were the Bianca con Prociutto and the Alla Salsiccia. Both were delicious, but I strongly preferred the Alla Salsiccia, which had mozzarella and italian sausages. My brother ordered the Polla alla Parmigiana, it was a decent and well cooked, nothing to said about this is dish, very generic. My father ordered the Salmone Oreganata and it was amazing. The skin was crispy like a chip and the meat was very succulent. My mother’s dish was the Gnocchi Calciano, unfortunately this was not my favorite dish, I found it to be too doughy, but pasta itself was very nice and fresh, but it was too much.
For dessert, I ordered the éclair, which was HUGE!!! It was a bit heavy, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

4.5 stars. I love to give credit where credit is due. Julie was the best server I could have ever asked for. It was our last day in Ocean City and we were referred to Touch of Italy by a local. The place is huge and they are known to serve fresh pastas and Italian cuisines. She also mentioned how Food Network star Ciro Verdi was the inspiration for the entire menu.
Appetizers:
1) The mussels in a white wine sauce was fantastic. It was a nice change since we were having a lot of the tomato based sauce throughout our Maryland vacation. Oh, please do ask for extra bread. They bread and olive oil they used was amazing. We must have ordered at least 3 extra bread for the different sauce on our table.
2) The prosciutto wrapped in mozzarella was really good but a little bit on the salty side.
3) Calamaris were fried to perfections. The batter was crispy and seasoned very nicely.
Entrees:
1) Cousin said the chicken parm was really good and juicy.
2) Uncle said the salmon was delicious. The salmon skin was very crispy and inside was juicy.
3) Aunt wasn’t too crazy about her pasta dish with pesto sauce, but she did mentioned that the pasta was fresh.
4) We also ordered 2 thin crust pizza — Prosciutto/​Arugula and Sausage. Definitely order the sweet sausage one! It was bursting full of flavor
Desserts:
1) MUST ORDER THE TIRAMISU when dinning in! This was the best recommendation that Julie gave us. One thing to note, these tiramisu are different from the tiramisu cakes in the front bakery of the restaurant. The ones in front sells tiramisu mini cakes for $ 10 and the tiramisu slice that we ordered dinning in was also $ 10 (a lot smaller, but so worth it). They used Italian cookies instead of lady fingers and it’s a lot flatter but the taste of the liqueur was absolutely amazing.
2) Julie probably gave us the biggest piece of chocolate éclair and it was good but I felt the cream was a little too thick and sweet for my liking but my cousin loved it.
I was skeptical about eating Italian food in a seafood city but it was one of the better restaurants I’ve been to during the trip. Love meeting random locals and discussing what are the best local restaurants. Will be using other’s recommendations for future trips as well.

They have fresh pasta, pizza and deli sandwiches. Dine in or carry out. So far I have enjoyed everything I have eaten here. My favorite is the desserts. You can buy cookies and cannoli by the pound or their awesome cakes. My favorite is the Italian wedding cookie. It’s really a cake about two bites worth layered with Italian flag colors and another layer of chocolate. It also has a hint of almond — delicious!!!

Food and service a solid four star experience. I highly recommend the pizzas. The Campagnola pizza was good as well as the Al Bianco– if you love anchovies it’s an additional buck. The subs are huge. One can feed two easily. The Italiano was good– meat fresh and at room temperature. Next time I am going to order this with oil and vinegar, hot peppers and mayo. It just comes with the meat and cheese with little EVVO. Service was fast and friendly.

4.5 stars. What a great Italian restaurant in Ocean City. I’ve been to the Rehoboth location once before and liked it very much. Took my fiancé here for dinner and think we’ve found our go to place.
Yes, it’s in a holiday inn hotel, but don’t let that deter you to try this place. The moment you walk in (hostess stand is near lobby of hotel) the smell of cheese and pizza hit you right when you walk in. Mmmmm.
The complimentary bread is nice and warm and their pastas are made from scratch. We had an Italian Cosmo drink and was so smooth and tasty. Could have drank 3 of them!
The orecchiette pasta with broccoli rabe and homemade sausage (you can buy sausage from their deli case too!) was delicious. Only minus was way too much EVOO. Pasta was so good.
The bartender lady was very friendly and made our dinner very enjoyable.
Will have to try their pizzas next time!
