I have been living in north ocean city for my entire life and always choose Ying Xing over any other Chinese food. I always get the best food there, never ever have I been dissapointed. Best Chinese in ocean city, highly recommended. Right now I got the beef lo mein. Huge chunks of shredded steak, delicious lo mein, very flavorful.

This used to be my go to place for Chinese food but no more. In the past I thought the food was adequate and had the traditional flavors one would expect from your average Chinese restaurants serving American taste buds. Never fabulous but at the same time it would do for Ocean City. Now, I have always wondered how they stayed in business. I have been there both during peak and off season and both off hours and peak lunch and dinner hours. At the most I’ve seen a couple of other takeouts and never any sit down patrons. This time I ordered steamed dumplings, veggie egg foo young and house special lo mein, The egg foo young was adequate but overall lacking. The dumplings were thick skinned, tasteless and tough. I put them in some chicken broth in attempt to save them, but that was still not enough to salvage them. The house lo mein was 95% noodles and totally lacking in any flavor. There were some thumb nail sized shrimp that appeared undercooked, a little bit of meat and scant vegetables. I ended up throwing out 75% of my total order. I don’t like throwing away my money and I don’t like throwing away food, I’ll not do that again with this restaurant.

Amazing food at great price! Make sure to try Cantonese Chow Mein which is fried noodles with shrimp, chicken and vegetables. Lunch and dinner combos are great too.

The service at the place sucks and offers high prices for totally unworthy food. We arrived at 830 and didn’t receive our food until sometime after 9. The boy that took our order was rude and when I complained about how long the wait was, he offered no apology. I had a right mind to walk back into the kitchen! He said the food was fresh and they were backed up. The phone NEVER rang the entire time we were there and the placed wasn’t packed at all. There were a whopping 2 people in the dining room. And the worst part — I paid $ 15 for some bland sesame chicken. I could have made it better at home on my first try. I will never go to that place again.

This place was horrible. Avoid at all costs! Seeing decent reviews on Unilocal a couple of my friends and I decided to try it and it was so disappointing. The general tso’ chicken had a stale taste to it and was over cooked. Everything was beyond mediocre. If you’re looking for a quick Chinese food fix pick another place. Avoid this one and you’ll do yourself a favor!

Well… ick. I’m not a Chinese food snob and I realize this is a tourist area but this was some seriously bad Chinese. The chicken with broccoli could have done without the pound of salt and the general tso chicken was reminiscent of sweet and sour with ketchup. Flavorless egg rolls and fried rice was pretty ‘meh’. I suppose money must be made off of drunks during the summer, otherwise I’m not sure how they stay solvent. Should have known better, now I do. Stick with fried sea food when in OC.

Best Chinese food in Worcester County(Trust me, I’ve tried them). The food is delicious and fresh, the staff, although small, is very friendly. You need to eat in though, the food isn’t as good after you take it home and eat it 30 minutes later. The inside is very quiet and there are usually not many people here, so it’s a great place to unwind and relax.

Me and my brother when here for some Chinese Restaurant. I order the Roost Pork fried Rice and hot and sour soup. It was so bland. We take the rest home and never eat it. We end up trowing away in the end. Restroom was clean. They was on one waitress and one cook. I ask wood you like if you start making dim sum. They said they wood never do it. When we was eating she was watching movie on here iPad. It was very sad restaurant. She said she wood never eat in this place. over all I wood never eat here. Easy to get in with a wheelchair. Off season you never worry about not finding a table. No TV and wifi. Parking limited. Parking street side.

The Ying Xing Chinese restaurant in north Ocean City, Maryland, is a really hidden gem! I have been going to Ocean City for years and agree that the cuisine here is consistently good. Whenever I go there for dinner, the Ying Xing is never busy since most of their business is carry-out, so sitting in the restaurant for a quiet meal is worth the trip! I usually have high quality meals there. Tonight, for the first time, I had the Singapore Noodles with Chow Fun sauce(I don’t like curried sauce), and it was DELICIOUS! I also had a small cup of egg drop soup which was also very tasty. In the summer, when you can’t get into other«high profile» eateries in Ocean City, there are usually tables available at the Ying Xing. Try it, you’ll like it!

This place has existed for years under different names and management, and it has never been anything but good. Ocean City is filled with seafood places, pizza places, and family-style dining, too many of which are bland and boring due to the lack of competition(since there is nothing else). On other hand, there are less than a dozen chinese places in the entire 140+ blocks of Ocean City. All of them have to be good, and most of them have stood the test of time and been there for ever and ever. This one is great, just like the rest.

Pretty decent chinese food… Not too many chinese places in ocean city/fenwick island area. Gave this place a try and was pleased. Not the best but better than most.
