Jerky! Its all about the Buffalo Jerky people. Its just sooooo good, fresh, and tasty. You may wonder why 5 stars given that there isn’t that much selection and its a small place. Simple: They had me at Jerky! For the last 3 years we stop there every time we are in the area, always regretting that we did not buy more.

Not an impressive place that’s for sure. Seafood? Jerky? Not the selection you would think. I have been in jerky shops that literally have dozens of choices. The pepperoni sticks were good though.

This is a small business and a small place. Let me just say that first. The JERKY sign caught our eye first, and upon walking in, we weren’t too sure if you would even call the place a jerky kinda joint. On the right is a small coin collection, on the back wall is a display fridge with pepperoni sticks, cocktail shrimp and packaged crab meat, and on the left is your run of the mill air packaged beef jerky, buffalo jerky, and peppered buffalo.
I wasn’t too impressed with the appearance, but wanted to give the small selection of jerky a go, considering it was a good slice for only $ 5, when were so used to jerky being about $ 10+ easy. AND WHAT A SURPRISE! The jerky had awesome texture and consistency and was kept undeniably fresh. Once we left I honestly wished we’d bought more. Ok, sure they don’t have much of a selection. There’s really only three jerkies to choose from. But in a small town, and for $ 5, hey… I’d swing by again the next time were in. Just wish they had more jerky to choose from is all.
