Best diner around! I’ve gone twice recently for breakfast, and both times the place was packed. We were still sat right away and had our drink orders taken immediately. The food came out quick and just to order. The best part is the prices, two people can eat a full breakfast for under 20 dollars with tip. I recommend my favorite, a bacon and cheddar cheese omelet with home fries and rye toast! Great food, great prices, great service. I’ll have to try lunch one day!

Heard good things about this little diner just of off highway 35 so decided to stop in for breakfast with my dad. There is nothing fancy about the place or it’s food but it seemed fresh and was made to order. It was obvious that the waitress was a pro and veteran of the place, she was attentive to us, as well as, the several customers sitting at the counter that she knew by name. I had a waffle with 2 sausage links and a scrambled egg while my dad had the corned beef hash with 2 sunnyside eggs and hash brown potatoes. My waffle was light and crisp and soaked up the butter and syrup that I covered it in(it was a good thing). The corned beef hash and hash brown potatoes were seasoned well and had a proper crispy brown crust on them; Dad was happy. Did I mention the coffee? It was a damn fine cup!

Love this place! Fair pricing, consistant wonderful food. Family vibe. Quick service on a Sunday morning without feeling rushed once we sat down. Very rare at the Shore! We love it here.

This is my favorite area diner. I love the waitresses, the coffee is great, so is the food. You can always get a seat.

Have not been here in a few months. Decided to get a breakfast sandwich. It was pretty decent and a great price, but it seemed like the waitress could care less. Upon entering I wasn’t greeted with a hello but with a «what do you want»? Sorry I am bothering you. After a few minutes she threw the menu on my table while passing. All the while she was complaining to other staff about«these fucking people» and«where the fuck is the bus cart». Not sure if she is the owner or what, but definitely needs some customer service skills. Not going back because of it.

This place sucks I’m in here eating right now… they messed up my order the first time my girlfriends pancakes had blueberries falling out of them not to mention both of ours were burnt… and out of all the diners I’ve been to in my life and that’s quite a few I have never seen omelets made this crappy… I don’t know about these other reviews but my advice is keep on rolling

Food is horrible. Potatoes taste old. Pancakes are the worst, and they were burnt. Omelet wasn’t actual an omelet they put cheese n the bacon on top of eggs. The lemonade tasted like the instant powered kind. They told us to sit ourselves.

Sub-par diner food. We ordered an omelette and a breakfast sandwich with home fries. The omelette was overcooked, the fries were bland, and the toast was drowning in something that sure wasn’t butter. The service was ok but again, nothing special. I have no idea how this place has four stars.

Gem in the rough. Whether you are a regular 9r just in for a bite, this is a great spot. True Jersey — hearty size meals with healthy alternatives for you fit folks. Breakfast can be a smoothie, full on eggs, meat and pancakes 9r a great salad. Big booths and tables with quick service. Just off 35 and easy in and out with large parking lot in the back. Just across the street from 7 – 11, so it’s easy to find. Lots of Greek specialities and they have everything on the menu from blue plate specials to steaks w/sides. Love coming here with the wife and kids.

This place looks very small from the outside but it is pretty big inside and there is additional parking in the back. came here for brunch and was pleased that they had healthy options on the menu for those watching what they’re eating. I ordered broccoli and cheese with egg whites and instead of home fries I had a side of fruit. the food was good and even though my meal was healthier and less calories it still left me feeling full and satisfied. for my sister who had your typical eggs with cheese, home fries, sausage and toast, she loved it and said it was good food. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. Also service was quick. Good place to come if you’re looking for a place to grab a quick bite.

We’ve been having our weekend breakfast/lunches here for a few years now. Waitresses are all awesome. Funny, friendly, honest with just the right amount of «jersey diner waitress» attitude. Food had always been very good. Love the cream of turkey soup, French toast to name a few. Always an easy choice when deciding where to go for breakfast.

Just had breakfast here and I was pleasantly surprised. My wife and I are down in the area for a friend’s wedding, and while I had some time to kill, I needed a spot for a solid breakfast. Unilocal fixes all. I ordered my usual diner request: a nice omelette with egg whites, ham and cheese. A side of home fries was also in order. Topped off with a side of toast and a big glass of OJ, the meal was spot-on. Done well, extra hot, and the home fries were fantastic. All for under $ 12, you can’t complain about that! 4⁄5 easily — if you’re in the area and need a good breakfast spot, Sunset is a great diner bet.

Place was clean, staff were very efficient and quick. Food was adequate bu not exciting. Saturday morning early had mushroom omelet with a side of spinach and Canadian bacon, coffee and V8 juice. Coffee was good. V8(large was about 10 oz; smaller than I expected. Omelet was not fluffy as advertised — it was flat and pretty tasteless. Canadian bacon was slightly overcooked but edible. Sauteed spinach came swimming in a pool of buttery water. Overall middle of the pack — there are better diners within easy reach of Monmouth Corporate Park. Santa Maria in Wall Twp a little further South on Hwy 35.

Not exactly the most exciting place in town for a late breakfast but always does the job right. Parking on the street is a challenge but save yourself the trouble and head to the back parking lot. All this diner is missing is free WIFI to go with my cup of coffee.

Family owned and all staff has their heart in it. Just a great little inexpensive diner with the best breakfast in the area. Try banana pancakes and turkey bacon… yum !
