I forgot to check in :’( Anyways I was downtown oceanside grandeur was close for 5 mins so me and the boyfriend walked around and ran into this place. To get some boba, there’s quite a line when I came in. There’s one guy making the drinks and taking orders by himself. It was gonna take a little bit. But we didn’t mind waiting. I just wanna say 25cents for more bobas this was a plus for me! I think there was 28 different flavors so I got the mocha with extra boba. Price was affordable! Atmosphere its a cute almost hole in the wall place. They have art on the wall for sale, same concept as a coffee shop. If I lived in the area I’d would consider selling my art there. I was really disappointed with my order though :(it didn’t taste like coffee mocha. If you like cinnamon you should definitely get it. But mine had too much cinnamon. I’m pregnant so my experience was a little blah I ended up getting sick cause too much cinnamon. I think if I could get a different flavor I probably would have enjoyed it better. My boyfriends mom ordered coconut it was pretty good I’m not a coconut person though. But the guy that came in to be the cashier got my boyfriends order wrong. He ordered regular w/extra boba but he got large :(it was no biggie but just a tip BECLEARONWHATYOUORDER. its a pretty decent place to get boba if you don’t wanna go to Kearney mesa to get a more delicious one!

Loved the smoothie, had a crisp and vibrant Kiwi Peach for a reasonable price. Went with a friend who swears by the place. They got our order wrong at first, but my friend assures me they were just having an off day. Despite the initial hiccup, I would gladly go there again.

This place is absolutely horrible. The service sucked. They got all of our orders wrong. They ran out of boba and took a ridiculously long time. THEBOBATEXTUREISNASTY

I normally get the Thai tea, however my friends and family have tried a variety of others, from cantaloupe to peanut butter banana. I love this place, and have yet to find another place like it that makes their tea so good.

I’ve only ever tried the classic flavors I enjoy like milk tea, royal milk tea, and thai tea boba here. All i can say is the store is very worn, needs major renovation. No ac, worn out walls, menu, tables, everything. My friend had a slush and it was nasty according to him, but its not a traditional flavor imo. Lastly, everything here is made from powders. If you look behind the counter, nothing is authentic, just a bunch of powder bins.

Plus: They have live music and the service is pretty quick. Minus: The boba balls are in clusters rather than separated. They also charge 25 cents for credit cards.

Service is good, nice place but the boba wasn’t that great i definitely had better. I will probably give them another chance.

The pros: the location was fantastic-right by the Oceanside Pier and the service was friendly. The cons: They did not open right at 11AM as the hours stated but it was opened by 11:15AM. We ordered milk tea with boba but it would have only been Tom Brady’s cup of tea because it was deflate gate 2.0. The bubbles were soft, flat, and plain old bad. It was definitely last nigh tapioca balls. Will I try it again? Maybe, but definitely not right when they open.

Decent bubble tea spot right on the beach in Oceanside. I ordered my usual, a chocolate milk tea with boba. They used chocolate powder instead of chocolate syrup — all they had, obviously. I mean, generally the drink is fine when it’s done like this. Just wasn’t feeling their take on it. I’ve had better. Oh well. As others have noted, it’s warm in here. Right on the beach, so no AC. Keep in mind if you plan on hanging out.

The physical location is just a steaming pit. There is nothing interesting, comfortable or enjoyable about it. I am certain there is no AC here. And coming from Tucson, Arizona(and the 110 degree weather there) I had little to complain about when it was about 85 degrees outside. But, but — yes! There was plenty to complain about. When you have no AC and a steaming vat of people who are all sweaty and musty after having rolled in the sand all day, it makes for a heated time. Just come get your boba and run! And it will be worth it. Bubble Tea offers a nice assortment of flavors. Actually, one of the best by way of variety I have seen in some time. They have milk tea, ice cream sodas, smoothies, juices, and more. Flavors include chai, green apple, Thai tea, melon, kiwi, honeydew, strawberry, tangerine, peach, papaya, orange, blueberry — so many offerings! Not being a huge fan of tapioca — I mean, I like it OK. Just not *that* much — I went with the mango green tea. Um? Yum! It was so cool and refreshing after playing in the ocean. And the perfect amount of sweetness with mini mango bits at the bottom. Score!

This is one of my favorite stops especially on hot days when I want something cool. In the off hours, the shop isn’t as crowded and can be a nice place to get some work done. There are dozens of drinks that fill out their menu, every combination of passion fruit and boba you can think of. But for me, my favorite drinks are the taro root and Thai tea — booth with boba of course. The staff at Bubble Tea have always been very friendly and the place is always clean and organized with plenty of seating — as long as it’s not Thursday night and the craziness of the Sunset Market is in full swing. On Thursday nights, it’s standing room only in the shop which is always a great sign for any restaurant. Overall, the shop is a great compliment to the downtown area of Oceanside and well worth a visit.

Been visiting since 2005 and always my must stop for a refreshing beverage. Costumer service professional and friendly My only compliant — Facility needs work; feels like a storage unit, play some music, keep the atmosphere fun and hip. I love the milk tea!

Just a couple blocks from the movie theater in Oceanside lies this refreshing boba tea shop. We stopped in on a whim and were so happy we did! There are so many flavors to choose from — but if you want dairy-free items you’ll need to narrow the scope of the menu considerably. I was happy to conform, ordering a Flavored Tea flavored with Green Matcha and Coconut and of course, boba. They were awesome about the dairy-free order and delivered a refreshing tasty treat that I don’t always get to have. Will revisit!

Great service and boba tea! The tapioca balls are really good – you can really taste the tapioca versus yucky processed tapioca balls. For hot days, I recommend something with coconut. One star down because the place was a little dirty and disheveled.

My friend and I stopped in here while we had some to kill before hopping on the Coaster. I ordered the Pretty in Pink boba, which is a watermelon/rose flavor. It was really yummy, but insanely sweet. The prices were really reasonable and they have a large selection of flavors. My friend really liked his Thai iced tea. Nice spot if you’re just looking for a quick beverage.

No luck going here yet. Once it was closed in the morning and on my visit last night with the kids, we waited 10 minutes in line to hear they were out of Boba :-( The store looked bright and spacious. I hope to get a chance to go back with better luck.

Let me first start with the drink. I got a royal milk tea with boba and it was awesome! Flavor was on point. I was pleasantly surprised that the milk tea here was SO good. But, the boba to drink ratio was off. When I took a sip, too much drink and not enough boba to chew, meh. It was very hot(no AC) and dirty. While I was waiting for my drink, I didn’t want to sit down anywhere because tables and chairs looked sticky, and floors and walls were filthy. I would come again to grab a drink and go, but wouldn’t stay to chill with friends or anything.

I come here often and it’s always great. Everyone working is really friendly and personable, and I love all the drink options! I gladly go out of my way to stop by for some milk tea with boba! :)

I love boba and I tend to judge a boba joint by how awesome their avocado boba is. I have been here a couple of times before, and I tried various flavors but lately, I’ve been obsessed with avocado So, I was back in Oceanside and wanted to give this joint another shot, see how their avocado boba flavor tasted like I gotta say, it’s the weirdest avocado boba I’ve ever tasted. It’s so weird that I don’t think they use actual avocado in it. I’m definitely gonna skip this spot when I have my boba cravings…

Yes, the last few times that I have been craving a good Thai Iced Tea with boba from here, didn’t happen, even though I did come here for that. I don’t know if they changed the tea or milk, but it is weak. Taste mostly like milk with a drop of tea. I will opt out, getting my Thai Iced Tea here. But, on the positive side, I have enjoyed a melon and honey dew slush here, so when at the beach, I can get a refreshing fruit slush. Happy Unilocaling ~
