Nice atmosphere, got the hammerhead which was 2 shots of espresso and regular hot coffee. The young lady working the counter of the shop was very nice and helpful and included some flavor for free which was a nice additon. Other than that, the coffee was nothing extraordinary but definately got the job done. Would recemmond this establishment for sure!

I love this place… best coffee ever. Service was top notch and yes you might be waiting but not for long. At any rate its worth the wait. I had a Cali sandwich and it was very tasty and perfectly toasted. Awesome local hangout.

Very cool little place. I’m loving the vibe. Small and cozy and great tunes playing. I had a 12 oz almond milk latte not realizing it came with 2 shots so be warned! Very strong espresso. We came with the whole family(10 of us) and everyone was happy. What a great find!!!

I came to The Cup about 6 years ago and was impressed with the coffee, but it didn’t agree with my stomach. I hadn’t been back until this past July and am now a regular without unusual side effects! Their menu is great – not too big, not too small, and they have a good number of their own concoctions that you won’t find at Starbucks. I love their iced coffee and can’t even pick a favorite flavor… they’re all great! Prices are great too… I was able to pay with pocket change one time. It was awesome, especially for someone who rarely carries cash. I haven’t been in for an adult beverage yet, but I think it’s a great addition to their daytime fare. The crowd is mellow and the lending library near the entrance really sets the tone for a relaxing cup of coffee/beer/wine by the beach.

The Cup has served up an incredible amount of good times! This neighborhood coffee shop has turned into a central space for friends near and far!

Let’s start with the inability of the female employee to help customers in the order they arrive. I’m generally patient with small mom and pop shops but this girl sucked. I ordered a simple breakfast sandwich. Something from the menu with no alterations, just as is, and it took 25 minutes for her to make the sandwich. She helped 10 – 25 customers after taking my order before she even decided to make my sandwich. The cali sandwich was average at best. Also, they were out of eggs at 7:30am. Piss poor planning.

I love this area, the only reason I could give this 4 stars is I wish they would expand! Sometimes it gets too crowded so I’d like a little extra elbow room. Hopefully the owner takes this into consideration, I want more of Cup! :P

This place is just awesome. Ever since they remodeled/got beer, this place has been killing it. We live across the way and almost every weekend morning we come by to get some of the bessssst $ 2 iced coffee out there, and they’ll even throw in Carmel/chocolate pumps fo freeeee. The staff/location/culture is also really cool. It always feels like I’m walking into a room full of a bunch of friends making breakfast(which is admittedly nerve racking for this social piranha) which makes for a classic, beachy local shop… sort of like something you would expect to be a setting for a sitcom. This place is what Oside needs more of!

I had the best experience at this coffee shop. The crazy thing is, I was only there about 5 minutes! First of all, you just get this great vibe that exudes from the cuteness of the place. I walked in and was immediately greeted with the biggest smile & hello from the cute barista girl. She and the other barista were both such California girls in their cute high-waisted denim & navajo skinny belts, haha. She walked me through the menu and you could just feel the genuineness. Much better than walking into a Starbucks. The coffee was strong and delicious. I ordered the Vanilla Honey Latte & added cinnamon sub Almond Milk – Amazing.

Nice Neighborly place. Came in about 2pm with the Hubster n kids. Girl they had there was nice. She handled well since she was the only person there Holding down the fort. Got the Vanilla Latte– It was pretty good, but nothing to pizzazz about it. Hubby got the Cold Brew and it was just ok he said nothing to spectacular about it either. The AppleWood Bacon Grilled Cheese Toast– Sadly they ran out of the toast but subbed with Pretzel bun. it was still pretty good, the Cheddar they used was very tasty(I think she said it was Smoked Cheddar, well what ever it was very yummy!) They have free WIFI so that was nice to sit in front of there place and see the beach view in the distance. the location is literally a few steps from the train tracks but my toddler loved watching the sprinter and cargo train go by so that didn’t bother me. I can see why the neighborhood love there CUP, very quaint place. Maybe we will try the food and beer next time. Only kinda rough part was that there was a charge to use card and we spent more than 12bucks and it was a dollar charge.

So grateful that The Cup is my neighborhood coffee house. They offer coconut or almond milk which is nice since my very sad break up with dairy. The staff is always nice and the view from the lil’ patio of Mama Ocean is priceless!

Great little spot a long side the bike path along side the Oceanside metro link/railway. My kind of place. Small, local, great vibe, nice beer on tap. Simple 4 options. In the AM we returned for coffee and breakfast tacos. Yum. I could live next door. The beach, a bike path, good food, coffee, and yes – beer! Great job being you.

Coffee/beer/sandwich shop in cute downtown neighborhood in Oside. We came at around 8:10pm. Still got great service and some yummy snacks. We tried the No Meat For Me($ 6) and the Avocado veggie tacos($ 4.50) and both were fresh and tasty. I got a mocha and my partner got a iced honey vanilla coffee. Yum to both! Service was nice. The one barista made both our drinks and our food. We will be coming back in the daytime to enjoy the dog friendly patio more.

Nice place – near the beach. A little pricey as it is a tourist area – but not too bad. They baristas were very welcoming. ordered an Americano and it was strong just like I like it! My only suggestion is to have more comfortable seating. I planned on staying and enjoying my coffee with a book for an hour or so, but none of the seating was entirely comfortable. Other than that, cudos to a wonderful business!

Found this place on Unilocal and we are so glad we did. The coffee we ordered was delicious and the lady behind the counter was lovely. Cool little place that I’d love to return to and try the food and the beer they also serve.

So you meet here with a friend… One of you wants a coffee? Not a problem. The other one had a bit of a longer day and needs a beer? No worries. They have you covered. This place it petite, but homey. The staff is great and you can sit outside and see the beach from the patio. It can get a little crowded at times, but I take that as a good sign.

Awesome local coffee shop located on Wisconsin Avenue by the railroad tracks. It is within walkable distance from the South end of The Strand and the Beach area. I stayed in Oceanside for the weekend and came here twice for my morning coffee. * SHOP * It is a small shop, with both tables and bar seating. There’s also tables available outside(but alcohol are not allowed outside). Pretty homey atmosphere and I saw a lot of people chilling with a book or their computers. * COFFEE * Very delighted that they offered Almond Milk Latte for us non-dairy coffee-lovers. The coffee is definitely stronger than Starbucks, and taste will vary depending on who you get as your barista. Nevertheless, I am happy with a nice strong cup of coffee to start off my day! Large Latte runs for $ 3.50. * SERVICE * Prompt and Awesome! Barista helped us with the selection and always offered us flavorings for our lattes, and special THANKYOU for the awesome coffee!

This place is small and homey, a place you’d want to become a regular at. I walked in with 3 other people this morning and we immediately made the little shop twice as crowded as it had been before we arrived. The baristas were very helpful in getting us the right drinks, and even let us sample some of their Kombucha on tap. The barista said they didn’t have their kombucha on tap, but would gladly hook it up and let us try some if we were interested in ordering it. We took her up on the offer(she gave us the fruit punch flavor) — although didn’t end up ordering any because it tasted a little more watered down than we were used to. We ordered a mocha, mocha brucciato, and an iced americano. All are handmade with the café calabria beans, and not overly sweet like you might expect at a chain café. If I was at the beach in Oceanside, I’d say this is the perfect little café to take a quick stroll to!

Great coffee, great food, great atmosphere. The TV was set to beIN Sports… Awesome to see some rugby on while enjoying an Americano and a Cali(Turkey, tomato, bacon, avocado). Stopped in to do some reading and really enjoyed the place.
