Dairy Queen

Love the new location and remodel. I mean it was nice when it was closer to the beach and all but this location is more spacious and cleaner and newer.
Everything made here has always been as it should be. Blizzards nice and thick and they always prove there thick by turning them upside down, some signature Dairy Queen thing. The front register guy is not always the friendliest. We usually come in on the evenings. But in general staff is very nice. Run by a bunch of youngsters.
I like pretty much everything on the menu. They have excellent desserts, we always do the blizzards. Julius drinks are delicious. Out of the food I really like the snack melts and chicken sandwiches.

Blizzards are the best! We love going to the beach and coming here, riding our bicycles here, or simply bringing the family for dessert. Our Father’s Day Jurassic world ice cream cake was also amazing. Too many great choices. We are always ready for more!

Yum, what a refreshing treat. We stayed at the Wyndam and rented bikes and hit DQ on the way back from our bike ride. Delicious, I will be back.

Clean, great ice cream. Good service. Nothing to complain about here. Nice area to have one since it’s down the street from the beach. Lots of shopping too.

Hoolagins working here… I was on the hunt for a late night snack when I realized Dairy Queen was still open. I ordered some chicken strips only for the cashier to tell the guy in the back to reheat the ones that were already made. While I was standing. right. there.
Very disappointing and I do not plan on returning.

Ordered a custom ice cream cake from
for pick up. Received a call two days prior to scheduled pick up to reassure me the order would be ready. The cake came out as I had requested with no problems. Great customer service.

Admittedly I am only reviewing the ice cream and service. The service was excellent. The facility was very clean and neat. The ice cream was frozen well and the chocolate dip hardened well, with no drips. Could not expect much more.

I stopped by to get a red velvet cake blizzard and when I walked in, I noticed they no longer had it available. Josh, one of their employees asked me how my night was going and I told him great until now since they were no longer serving their red velvet blizzard. Like a great employee his is, he made things happen for me. He was not lazy and actually checked to see if they still had enough to make a red velvet blizzard although they were no longer serving it. Come to find out they had enough to make 2 medium blizzards which was perfect for my wife and I. Josh made our night! We need more workers like Josh, he makes things happen!

All Dairy Queens have the same menu. The food good, the ice cream excellent. What got the five stars is the friendly atmosphere and seems like a family business. This location is within an easy walk of Oceanside Pier, has a nice inviting décor and atmosphere. The $ 5 lunch 11am to 4pm is awesome. burger, fries, soda, small sundae!

Yes! A new location. The management must have seen my other review on the previous location and decided to build a brand new one! ;)
Because its distance is sufficiently far enough from the beach, it’s not full of sandy, barefoot, bathing suit clad people drifting in from the beach. It’s on Mission along with all of the other shops and it’s very nice with lots of indoor seating.
The lady manager, whose name escapes me (it’s a two part French name), is very nice and welcoming. She gave us a deal with our coupon and when the young man who took our order made 2 mistakes, she quickly and graciously corrected the issue. She also came by our table to check on our food and to see if we were doing alright. Very friendly and professional.
I like the food and ice cream treats at this location. Maybe because its new equipment, they are just cooked better. The other, older location’s hot food was not as good.
We live at the beach, so we just walk here. Free parking is done on the streets or in the nearby lots.

Nice new clean place. The coupon deals are really good. This is one of those places where you get what you pay for. If you want gourmet keep on moving. If you want dairy queen ice cream. This is the place.
And even better with comfortable seating and new atmosphere.
