Found a roach to in my soup. Demanded to see the manager and get my mommy back. He came Friday m the rear of this shithole, cigarette makers m hand. Do not waste your tears me out your money.

Decided to try this Chinese take out for the first time based on decent Unilocal reviews. We ordered on Saturday 2÷20÷16.
In all honesty, I was looking for something a bit more upscale as far as taste and freshness. The boneless spare ribs were skinny and kind of hard to chew but they did have a good taste. The pepper steak and onion did have a good taste. The egg roll was small and really lacked in any bold flavor and didn’t have much pork at all.
The white rice was kind of dry and didn’t taste fresh at all. The pork fried rice was OK but would have loved to see big chunks of pork. I think that makes the rice when you have pork over taking the appearance of the rice. Also ordered the 4 season chef special. It had good flavor, decent amount of product. My favorite was the appetizer sliced pork. It was sliced thin, very soft to chew and great sauce. That was a winner.
Prices were not bad at all. I would definitely try some other types of dishes in the future.
There were many chef specialties on the menu. Would like to try them out.

King Wok’s cooking is consistently good. The best boneless spare ribs around. A good Local Chinese option for sure.

Good Chinese food with fresh ingredients and decent prices. Portions are large enough to share. The dumplings have that housemade flavor and texture. I deducted a star because the woman whom I believe is the owner constantly berates the girl working there who I believe is her daughter. It’s quite upsetting to sit there waiting for your takeout order and watch this verbal abuse taking place.

Tried this place a few months ago and haven’t looked back since. The crab Rangoons are like little pillows of love and happiness and I have yet to order a dish I didn’t like. Our go-​to take out for chinese

Best Chinese food in the area! Chicken and broccoli is excellent. The owner may not be the friendliest person but that’s because they are BUSY! they work hard and the food shows it.

After getting king wok for about a year or so I will not get this food anymore. The quality has been decreasing, as well as the service. had food delivered to work last week and found some sort of mucus/​spit in my egg drop soup. Got delivery today, food spilled all in bag and deliveryman just put his hands up and left.

Checklist for a crazy snowstorm:
1. Beer (or wine)
2. Stocked DVR
3. Candles
4. Chinese food
The chinese food in long beach sucks. There’s no way around it, and its SO sad considering the abundance of renters and those of the hebrew nation (not being a jerk!). My manstuff was leaving work and headed home before our last storm, and offered to stop and get chinese food on the way — so I went outside 11 561 and found these guys.
the food is great — waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than anything I’ve had in long beach. We got a whole bunch of things to last us through the night and the following day, and we really didn’t spend a lot of money. whats funny is, the woman that answered the phone was rushed, rude, and yelling, and when manstuff went to pick it up he said she was hollering at everyone and being mean… except to the delivery guy. She yelled at him for getting there before 20 minutes, and made him wait an extra 10… what?
Who knows. The food was good, and thats all I care about. My guess is, she was stressed because of all the other people like us calling for food before we got a storm.

A pleasant surprise. It took me forever to find a take out place that actually has good food. A friend recommended this place to me and I am so happy she did. I would have never known it was there since its tucked back in a corner of a strip mall. The food is fresh and flavorful and the portion sizes are generous. I have ordered a bunch of times and have never been disappointed. The delivery is really fast too.

King Wok makes the BEST Chinese food ever. We’ve been getting take out from this restaurant for years and have always been so happy to return. The owners are amazing and friendly, especially the woman who runs EVERYTHING! She is the sweetest person and it is always great to see her. If you haven’t tried King Wok yet, what are you waiting for?

When you call in for an order, and the woman is yelling at you … That’s a sign hang up and order somewhere else. But a hungry tummy can lead to BAD decision making. Here is a prime example: I ordered chicken wings with garlic sauce. And requested hot oil. An hour later the food arrives. No garlic sauce and no hot oil. I call back informing the rude woman of the same. She yells back «garlic sauce is $ 1 and I didn’t charge you!» Really a buck for a little condiment!?! But whatever fine! Why is she telling me that after taking it upon herself to not send the garlic sauce. She could have very well sent it, and I would’ve paid, we already established the «hungry tummy = brain not working fact». And then she tells me «I will send hot oil next time!» Oh that’s lovely I can’t wait to place my next order with you! NOT!

The lady that answers the phone is a little rough around the edges.
BUT WOWWWEEEWOWOW THE FOOD IS GOOD.
