We came here on a Sunday night and placed three 2– item combos. There is plenty of parking and they also have a drive through window. We were greeted when we came in by the woman in charge. We were also offered samples, the new sweet chicken entrée. The restroom and main restaurant is clean. The servings are a bit smaller than Panda Express is known for, but overall, we had a positive experience. We will return and would recommend.

Give it a 2 star, one because it was fast but my plate was not expected as to how pricey the foods is than the mandarin right across from them. No cars in front and none behind me. I guess they worry about their timing than customers.

Below par the food was hit n miss my rice, noodle and Kung Pao were on point but my Orange Chicken was disgusting when Zuri served me she gave me the last scraps of Kung Pao chicken which didn’t even complete a full serving but in her eyes it was because she didn’t say anything. I told her that it was not even a full serving and she goes I’ll bring out a side when a new batch comes out. Well she didn’t and I waited and waited she even went to clean tables and use the restroom and still no side of Kung Pao. So I went to talk to the manager and she corrected the mistake and even offered a new meal but I was like the Orange chicken tasted pretty bad don’t think I want that again she gave me a togo plate and I was ready to give it to the homeless guy outside but he was gone. :(yeah but not sure but I might avoid this Panda Express from now on thanks Zuri.

The Panda Express on mission avenue next to T-Mobile HORRIBLE!!! Always have half of their entrees missing!!! I went in yesterday around 2:30 no honey walnut no Kung pao, no teriyaki, no teriyaki sauce& no cream cheese ran goons like seriously??? That’s usually what I get. So many items missing beyond ridiculous. Happens every time theirs always at least 2 things missing & the honey walnut shrimp is never throughly cooked!!! always try it before you order it to make sure it’s cooked

So, this is Panda Express. Though their logo is“gourmet Chinese Food”, it really is just fast food. That’s Ok with my family and I. We have been eating here fairy regularly because they give a military discount of 10% and also have an extra item with receipt. Today, I went in for my usual order of takeout and was told that they don’t do the double discount. I was confused. I was there just last week and about 4 times total this month and had no problem. I didn’t think that filling out a survey and getting a free entrée meant that I couldn’t use my 10% discount they offered. I decided that since I couldn’t use the discount any longer, that I would not patronize here any longer. They need to be more consistent with their policies. Thanks for offering a military discount by the way. Good luck in the future.

Would give this place 0 star rating if I could! If you want to risk getting food poisoning or worse, be my guest!!! THEREWEREMAGGOTSINMYFOOD. I heard bad things about this place from friends before, but went against my intuition and decided to give this place a chance. I was really in the mood for Chinese that day and we were not anywhere near our regular Panda location. Big mistake. We went there on Sunday August 30th2015, my friend and I grab two trays at the start of the food line so we could dine in. We order our food, pay for our food and drinks, and even donate to the charity promotion they were offering, only to have the cashier bag our food and throw in some soy sauce packets without fortune cookies. When I asked where the napkins where she lazily points to the utensils next to the soda fountain. Strike one right there. Next, we begin to look for tables. I’m not even kidding when I say that all of the table tops were dirty except for ONE. We came in on a weekend, but that area of town does not receive a lot of foot traffic like other areas and I’m willing to bet this is a lower profiting Panda vs. the three other locations in Oceanside. There should be no reason for a messy establishment at 3 – 4 in the afternoon on a slow day. That was not quite a strike two for me, seeing how I don’t know what the company’s standards are for employees rotating out from behind the food line and wiping down tables, so I let that go. We finally sit ourselves down and open our bags of food to place on the trays we originally picked up at the start of the line. I place my plate on the tray and reach for a utensil while my friend tossed a few soy sauce packets my way. As I was opening my box of food, I noticed something moving on the tray in my peripheral vision. I zero in on it in disbelief and sure enough there were FREAKINGMAGGOTS crawling on my tray!!! Strike two. As I said before, I had the tray in my hand the entire time. There was nothing there before I placed my plate of food on it from the bag. The maggots either came from their to-go boxes or their soy sauce packets, or their bags. We opened up the bag our food was in and found more crawling in there. We immediately go to the counter and ask for a refund. While we were filling up our drinks prior to eating, we tossed our receipt in the trash bin at the drink station. The cashier said she needed that receipt in order to do any kind of return. Instead of slapping some gloves on and grabbing it out of the bin for us, she made my friend fish for it out of the trash bin with her bare hands. Absolutely disgusting! She said she would only refund us for the food since we already had been sipping our drinks, I began to argue with her over that detail because I felt that I should not be questioned when asking for a refund. I should have been given a full refund for their lack of sanitation! Strike three. I wish I would have wrote that cashier’s name down to report this to corporate, but this is the next best thing. No wonder why there is no sanitation grade on the window to this place! It’s probably a C. I will never step foot into this Panda Express ever again.

Went through the drive through last night, the food was not fresh and the portion size was less than other locations. Was not ever asked if I wanted any other sauces.

Giving this fine establishment 5 stars, in particular a girl who works there named Jessica R.(with the glasses). Accidentally gave me chow mein instead of fried rice with my double entrée plate. Already in an annoyed mood from unrelated factors, I circled back around the drive thru and explained the situation. Jessica wasn’t even slightly annoyed by my pickiness, and handed me a completely new box of entrees and sides. Which gave me an extra box of Chinese for my fridge. And also completely alleviated me of my bad mood, and I went home with a smile on my face

This is my first time at panda express and I was not impressed. My cho mein tasted burnt and the orange chicken did not taste like orange chicken. The service was fast and staff was nice but food was not tasty at all!

Nice and clean place, food is not bad like other panda expresses but they don’t have any soup at all. I couldn’t believe that. I had a cold and wanted to get some hot & sour soup. very disappointed

Love that it’s drive-thru & you can place online orders. I’ve come here a couple of times by now, including tonight. Always very friendly. Got there ~1 hr before closing. I ordered panda bowls — one with an entrée that they didn’t have ready. Lady said it would take about 6 minutes and if I was wanted to wait, which I did. It was the same case the previous time I was there and ordered the same entrée, except last time I chose something else instead. No big deal. She also offered free veggie rolls tonight — not sure if it was a promotion or just ’cause. I paid at the window and then she asked me to pull up at the entrance so she could bring the order out when it was ready. Very nice, polite, and quick.

Service was great, especially from the manager… she seems to be on top of everything, and I mean everything. From greeting to drive thru orders to the in store line. She was busy! The food was fresh since I was there at dinner time, in fact, I had to wait a bit for my order to be cooked, I wasn’t really in a rush so it was ok, but it was nice that she offered me something to drink while I waited, kudos! I ordered the family deal for $ 30 which I chose green beans & chicken; some of the green beans weren’t very fresh but it tasted ok. The orange chicken was way disappointing; all batter. I could barely find the chicken! But the Shanghai Angus beef was delicious! The beef was tender & the veggies were perfect. It was a extra $ 3.75 but I think it was worth it, it didn’t quite make up for the orange chicken but I’ll know next time. But compared to other reviews I’m seeing, I guess my visit wasn’t too bad.

Good food(or as good as the fast-food version of Chinese food can get) and much appreciated heap of it on my plate, but MEH with the backwards means of service! Maybe it was the evening I visited, but isn’t a line-style serving method supposed to make service speedier? Well, instead of passing my plate along from one staff member to the next in the quickest way to get me to the cash register, it was one person taking the order, then following presumably«their» customer through each food section and ultimately ringing them up too! Yikes, in short, this made the wait a long one. The drive-thru was zipping by though, as regret and gurgles filled my stomach for choosing to order inside! Good food, a whole lot of it. Choose the drive-thru if you see a backup of people in line indoors, you’ll get your food much quicker even if there’s a line of cars already in the works! ***Fortunate cookie awesomeness!

I went there and ordered my food. The food tasted like so-so. Their price seem overpriced for too little food in a box for big hungry surfer. They had to charge me extra one dollar for special meat like jumbo shrimp or something, even their menu didn’t mention extra one dollar for any special food. Their too slowing service at the line. I will never order their food next time again. I prefer quick wok or Thai Table or Phở than Panda Poopy Express.

I went there at 11am. Went directly to the beach about 6 blocks away to sit in my truck and eat and watch the surfers. The food was cold. The chowmein was only room temp as was the orange chicken. The only item that was warmer was the angus steak.(angus round steak) They should not even label this meat with the word«angus». It was not tender and had no flavor of its own. They charged an extra dollar for it and there were only a few bites. there was no notice anywhere there was an upcharge. the chow mein had a fishy greasy taste. maybe because it was cold? DUH You can usually count on the consistency of Panda restaurants. NOTHERE. STEERCLEAR at this time of day. I won’t go back here again.

Easy access to the freeway. The boyfriend and I stopped here on the way to San Diego on July 6th… and again on our way back to L.A. on July 8th. After finding out the boyfriend never had Panda Express in his life(seriously??), I forced him to stop at the first Panda we could find. Service is about average, and with my crappy eyesight, hungry stomach, and pressing need to order quickly, I missed the part of the menu which states there is a $ 1 extra charge for shrimp(honey walnut)…but hey… if you have a Panda craving, it’s worth it. The food was probably the freshest I’ve had at a Panda Express. The boyfriend was won over. We passed a Panda Exp on the trolley July 7th and he wanted to stop AGAIN. BECAUSETHEPEPPERCHICKEN! WAS! SOGOOD! LASTTIME!!1!11 The rest of the afternoon, and partially into the evening, I heard all about the pepper chicken. And knowing Panda was an easy detour from the freeway, he fake-complained about the traffic coming back… just so we could revisit this location in Oceanside. I wasn’t mad.

Places like China Wok Express, Hong Kong Express, Busy Bee and the like kind of turned me off to fast Chinese food for a good long while, but last night I ate panda parts for dinner. Oops, my bad… I meant Panda Express. This location is in Oceanside right off of Interstate 5S, exit at Mission Ave., turn right and you’ll find it in the first strip mall on the right hand side. 2 items with one side and a medium Pepsi was $ 8 and some change and just the right amount of food for dinner. I ordered woked vegetables, sweet and sour pork which was surprisingly good and tasty green bean chicken. Although I wouldn’t go as far as saying it was gourmet as advertised on their menu, it was pretty fresh and a better quality product than I anticipated. The store is graded A by SD County Health, very clean and has friendly staff.
