The best phở I’ve had and I’ve tried many different places! Phở Thai, chicken wings and coffee with condensed milk is the best to order. It is also really clean inside.

After a long day of work and an hour at the gym, I was simply in no mood to cook after getting back home. I asked my husband to have dinner somewhere outside and he suggested me to try vietnamese cuisine. I had just heard about how great Phở are and so decided to give it a try. We looked at Unilocal and found this to be in the surrounding area. Upon arrival, we found the place was full of customers and there were only two empty tables. We got seated on one and started looking at menu. Decided on the order, one Chicken Phở– large bowl, one chicken noodles, and one thai ice tea. The portion looked really big and I must say the food was really good. I have had better thai ice tea so wouldn’t recommend that. For all the order we placed, we paid only 20 bucks. This place was cheap and nice. I will come back again after my gym, when I don’t feel like cooking

Price is very reasonable among all other phở shops in Oceanside. Not to mention, the soup noodles are sooo good!!!

Nice, clean place. Great phở. For the large one($ 7.55) was really filling.(Small $ 6.50) Rice plate was great too, except no soup to go with it. The staffs were really friendly. This place was located close to the Best Western Oceanside Inn which made it nice. I recommend this place.

One of the better phở restaurants in Oceanside. Prices are fair and the portions are decent. They have a decent boba selection and their broth is on point.

Nasty… ugh How come the rice bowl with pork didn’t fill me up? What legitimate Vietnamese rice doesn’t offer«bi»? The meatloaf was crunchy… because its dry, it’s not meant to be crunchy… If you don’t have any fresh ones just say so, don’t serve old food.

I know winter is almost over, but there will still be plenty of cold days that need a little something extra to warm the bones beyond and I PA and Netflix binge… Meet phở. Super inexpensive and so good. Plus you can add foods to your weird things eaten list, like tripe and tendon. The owner made rounds and chatted up the customers and checked on everyone’s experience which I think goes so far. I’ll come back.

Tasty food, speedy service, clean and quiet environment. This was our first time here but we liked it. It’s a great lunch joint(and it’s super cheap).

Very good vietnamese noodle soup at very reasonable prices. I have ordered the chicken Phở and the Vegetable/Tofu Phở and both are excellent. I usually call my order and then pick it up. Parking is easy because it is located in a strip mall.

This place looks shady from the outside but the Unilocal reviews got me in. The older man at the register was very abrupt told me to have a seat. Then he left and younger guy Mike came in and started taking orders from people after me so I got up right away to place my order to go. He was nice, the typical forced son/family member to work there. I asked to make the pork well done and some rude lady waitress snaps back«we always make it well done, sit there». I told her I’ll be outside at my car and she gave me a dirty look. I came back and asked her if that was my order in the corner table and she said«you have to wait». I put up with bad Asian service when the food is good but unfortunately this is the worse pork and egg roll rice vermicelli I’ve ever had! The pork was thick, too fatty, sausage type, and cooked medium. I’m comparing this to San Diego, NYC and SF! I see why the high reviews due to the lack of Asian spots in the area. One of the few times Unilocal has let me down. We will not be back!

Who know this hidden gem would have pretty good tasting phở! This is probably one of the best places I’ve been to so far. I lived in Oceanside for 15 years and never came across this place. This place had a continuous rush every 10 minutes which showed how truly dedicated their customers were to this place. The workers showed their exceptional customer service through out my whole experience. This place is also very spacious and there is plenty of parking. My bf and I first ordered their egg rolls appetizer. They were made hot and fresh which I love because the lettuce and the fish sauce is cold which makes every bite perfect! Then he ordered the stir fry combination noodles and he loved it! Realizing they had a poor selection of vegetarian items I ended up with the grilled chicken vermicelli. I prefer grilled vegetables on my dishes most of the time since I’ve cut less meat intake. My dish was still good! By far the best vermicelli bowl I’ve had. I will be here next time to tried their soup Phở when I’m back in my hometown!

Phở Oceanside remains the standing champion for, in my opinion, «The Best Vermicelli Bowl» hands down. And as for anything else I’ve had there, it’s pretty much in the same boat. The phở broth is very flavorful and always consistent. When I eat here… I know I’m going to be enjoying my meal every time. The service is always fast and friendly, and trust me– this place gets packed for the lunch rush. Luckily, it’s pretty big with a lot of available seating, no matter what time of day it is. Now back to my «Best Vermicelli Bowl». I’ve been to plenty of other phở spots– and their’s is by far, the best. The ingredients are fresh… and idk what it is, but their vermicelli tastes way better than anywhere else. Always looking forward to my next lunch here!

Located off coast hwy/Oceanside Blvd is this hidden gem. Friendly and quick service even when its a full house here! Ive been to many different Phở restaurants and this one is definitely on my list top 5 list in North County. Their soup is very good(broth) and they have very a very simple easy to understand menu, and the reason I mention that is because Ive been to a few places where there is not even one single word I understand except for the numbers that indicate what I want to order lol. Their spring/egg rolls are pretty good as well, so appetizers are a must here! Restaurant is very clean and well kept and staffed appropriately so you can count on dining in if your on a time limit. Overall, very good place to take your family or a date out to and it seems to be a rising hot spot in North County!

Wow first visit and not my last… Sad to say I am leaving in a few days and will try this place a year from now. Only issue with not giving this fine establishment five stars was the wait time for food and drinks. The Resturant was packed for a Tuesday visit! Family and I had three dishes plus a app, which I posted the pictures of. Enjoyed the phở broth! Highly recommend a visit!

I love coming to this place. The atmosphere is very relaxed and settled. There are plenty of tables and booths in the restaurant and of course, the friendly service. There is also a private section for a decent size crowd. I got the P1. in a large size, which is the house special that contains rice noodles, rare steak, well done brisket, flanks, tendons and tripe. Also includes your toppings of bean sprouts, basil and lime(added a lot in mine). The broth is already amazing but I love to add the extra spices to turn things up a notch. Aside from Phở, they also create satisfying dishes from noodle bowls, rice dishes and desserts. If you are ever looking for a good place for Phở in town, try here, they don’t disappoint.

‘Phở Oceanside’ is hands down the best place to go for a nice big bowl of delicious phở in town!!! The service is awesome here! Employees are all real sweet, helpful and pretty quick at cleaning up your table or refilling drinks-not to mention waiting for your meal, that’s done like 5 minutes after you put your order in! Definitely my favorite thing about this place. I love the food here. I usually get the P2 in a small it will run you about $ 6.50, the soup comes with tripe, rare flank steak, noodles and a broth that is perfectly flavored. I add hoisin, chili and Sriracha sauce for that extra touch of amazing-ness. Their crispy vegetarian egg rolls are so good and perfectly paired with the vinegar dipping sauce they serve with it. I just love it! Prices aren’t too bad either-for 3 people I spent a whopping $ 35! Yes, $ 35! So good. Check this place out sometime if you’re in the area.

Went here after surfing Buccaneer Beach on a Tuesday night. Great place to warm back up if you are even a bit cold. We called in our order and it was to be picked up 10 minutes later. Went in right at the mark and our food was ready. Couldn’t ask for better timing from the nice employee that brought my wife our food. Parking: lot is small and spots are tight for anyone w a truck or SUV. There were many homeless people loitering in the parking lot digging up pizza boxes from the trash. Lock your vehicles when eating here. Hide your kids and hide your wives too! Food: absolutely amazing and flavorful. Chicken Phở had perfect flavor. Chicken was tender and the broth had the perfect amount of salt. The rice noodles added a nice texture to the soup. Bean sprouts, jalapeños, and mint were fresh and a delightful add-in to give it a crispy texture as well. We added their spices which are perfect. Just make sure to taste each one to ensure you don’t burn the lining of your stomach when done eating. Also got the Egg Roll and Chicken Vermicelli. This too was great and full of flavor and texture. Egg rolls were crisp and the chicken was tender and had amazing seasoning. We will definitely be back to dine in next time as we are on a Phở kick these days.

Great service! Staff are fast, approachable, efficient, and respectful. Food is good and price is perfect! Small size bowl of soup is enough, but if needing more veggies on the side, just ask; staff are always willing to serve and provide. Also, if you like cilantro, ask for it because the veggie plate that comes with the soup only have sprouts, jalapeño, lime, and basil. They are not stingy, if you ask for more. Meat and broth were good, not smelly or foul smell, like other Vietnamese restaurants. Good Job!

Was in Carlsbad for a meeting and was starving. Did a search for Phở on Unilocal and I found this place. It’s a small place, the owner/employees are very nice. I ordered the following: Chicken Wing Appetizer: $ 6.20 — Huge wings, very good, very flavorful and juicy. A little on the salty side(on the skin) but still very good. Phở with rare beef, tendon and tripe: $ 6.50 — Delicious. Huge portion, tons of meat and veggies. If I’m in Oceanside, I will definitely go here again.
