Pizza Hut

Ordered at 2:15pm on a Saturday — hardly peak time — and was told it would take about 30 minutes. Around 50 minutes later, no pizza, so I called and was told it was ‘crazy busy,’ but was out for delivery and would be here soon.
…a half hour after that call, still no pizza, so I called again and was told the driver would call me. He showed up twelve minutes later with (at best) luke-​warm pizza. Total time — one hour, 32 minutes. Please keep in mind I live ¾ of a mile away — I could have done a carry out and walked it back home in a helluva lot less time. Never again…

The manager got on the phone to figure out where to deliver to me on Camp Pendleton. The delivery was extremely fast! No problems with service at all.

Mad and hangry: This place is a joke! You drop the frozen wings into the fryer then you toss them in some sauce. It can’t be that hard?! Currently taking time out of my night to drive back.
Calming down: I ordered an 8 piece boneless wings. There were 8 pieces (more like wing turds). What they need to be doing is weighing the orders not counting the pieces because everyone’s opinion is different as to what 1 whole boneless wing should look like.
Calm Update: was given a new order of 8 piece wings. I’ll take it because I’m not hangry anymore, but next time we will just make the drive to wings and things.

Location: If you do decide to order from this place I suggest that you choose «Delivery» vice «Carryout». The store is tucked in the corner of a shopping center surrounded by less than fine establishments. In fact, after sun down down these places put the «stab» in «establishment». But let’s be real for a moment; what else do you expect from Oceanside after sun down?
Service: Ordering was easy. The male employee was extremely upbeat and talkative. I ordered two items. A pizza and a cookie cake thing. When I got there to pick it up they told me that someone «forgot to put it (the cookie) in the oven» and said I could wait for it to cook or get credit and leave. My phone was at 100% so I decided to wait. There’s no way I’m going back home and telling my wife I don’t have desert. To make up for it they hooked us up with a 2 litter bottle of Cola for free. How nice of them.
Quality: The pizza was on point however the cookie was garbage. I am not sure if it’s how it was made prior to being baked or what but it tasted like ass crack (don’t ask how I know what ass crack tastes like, it’s none of your damn business).
Overall: I am going to stick to Dominoes or Papa Johns from now on. The fact that this store is literally across the street from me and I’d rather drive across town should tell you something.

For a Pizza Hut, it’s good. Ordered online (easy) and got our pizzas in a timely manner. Friendly delivery person. Pizzas came hot and exactly as we ordered.

This location takes a while. This is my second time getting pizza from this location, the first time my dad got carry out and it took them almost an hour. Their delivery takes a while too. Other than that, the pizza is good.

Who doesn’t love the crazy pizza options that Pizza Hut comes up with? However, when your we order comes with a side of horrible customer service, even a hot dog bite pizza crust isn’t appetizing! Store manager Corey needs to take a course in customer service, or better yet should be demoted or fired. Terrible!

If I could give this zero stars I would. I ordered from here last night and never got my pizza. They called me and told me it would be 40 minutes and I waited. Finally after waiting for an hour and a half I called them and no one answered. It kept ringing or I was on hold, no one even called me back and I tried several times before giving up. I didn’t even get a cancellation email or any update. Worst pizza experience ever. I waited over three hours before I finally decided to call it and go to bed (this was at about 2 am).

The worst customer service I have ever experience trying to place a simple over the phone order. I called and a Patrick answered the phone. First he was extremely rude when I was giving him the address and told me I was wrong. Then when I continued on asking if I could get the specials I saw online he was even more rude and said he didn’t know what I was talking about and I would need to clarify. As I was asking my boyfriend his side of the order the guy told me to try telling him the order when I wasn’t having a side conversation. Like his job at Pizza Hut is that difficult. I will never order from this location again.

This is the second time ordering from here. The staff is very unfriendly. Calling me asking me for the apartment I live in then go and say that I’m wrong. I’m new to the area and this is just uncalled for. I’ll continue ordering here because the food is good but ordering online from now on.

Was hungry for pizza the other night and decided to give the Hut a try. Man, it has been a long time since I’ve visited them and now I remember why, they keep jacking up their prices for everything. I know the prices on various food stuffs rise over time but this is ridiculous. Also, they’re charging $ 3.25 for delivery! That’s not including the tip for the driver. So I look at it like this, even if a order one pizza at 10 bucks, add the delivery charge, my standard tip of 5 bucks and add in tax, let’s level it at $ 1.75. I’d be paying 20 bucks for one pizza that takes an hour to get to my house. What’s with the huge hike in delivery fees? I know that much doesn’t go to the driver so where’s it all going? If it’s your insurance company, fire them and get someone else it might help you pick up more customers who don’t feel like spending a small fortune on one pizza.

I would usually give this Pizza Hut 4 stars, but not this time. Ordered my pizza on line (website isn’t the best) & got an email that it would be delivered about 45 minutes later. Kind of a long time but it is Monday night football. (Note, Dominos is usually about 25 minutes & it is further away). Anyway, when an hour had passed & no pizza, called to get an approximate eta. The young lady was very nice & checked on it advising that it was ready & would be on the next delivery. I asked if it would be hot & she said ««Yes, very hot». Half an hour later, the pizzas were delivered. They were NOT hot, barely warm. The «thin & crunchy» crust was thin but tough, not a crunch to be found. The hand tossed was also barely warm & tough. All in all, not a good experience!

Well I didn’t actually get pizza here. I attempted to use their online ordering. Their website did not work. Once I called the manager told me I could not get the deal that was online. It’s not my fault their website doesn’t work. Oh well! I will get to try others pizza. I guess I won’t be getting my favorite food from Pizza Hut.

Food is always hot and delicious. Delivery is great. The people that deliver are friendly. I have NEVER had a messed up order. This is my go-​to pizza place when I need dinner delivered.

Saw the bad reviews for this place :(but I’ve had decent service and good pizza and wings from here. Ron, specifically, is the best and most helpful employee I have encountered thus far: He was ever so patient with my complicated instructions on how to get into our our gated complex for a delivery. Their location is slummy but so what. just means their rent is cheaper!

Placed an online order for carryout. Showed up at the estimated pick up time and they were just cutting my pizza, so yay for fresh pizza. The cashier gave us a military discount on top of the coupon we used online, so again, YAY!

So in a previous life I worked for Pizza Hut. Not at this one, but for another store in Orange County for a couple years. This store is my local one and wished I had my old store to call still. They have never seemed to match the quality of pizza we use to have. They just don’t seem to be up to par. Sorry guys, just being honest.

Pretty hard to ruin pizza, but they manage to here. Came within 15min of a pick up order, order was ready but was completely dry and crisp, as fresh as a pizza baked from three days prior. Pass!
