Came on a Sunday afternoon to rent cruisers(this is the same company we rented from in San Diego a couple weeks ago, just a different location). The rentals are located just under the Oceanside Pier(to the right of the pier if you are looking out at the water). There was one family ahead of us, but not a long wait at all. The guy working was really friendly and helpful. Got us set up and he adjusted our seats. My boys were required to have helmets since they are under 18. He asked if we would be stopping for lunch and set us up with a bike lock and we got to pick the combination. We paid upfront and he kept my ID as collateral. I think that was my CON for the last Wheel Fun Rentals… wish they wouldn’t keep my ID since we were cruising around O’side. The cost for one hour was $ 30. I think next time we would pay for half a day if we go earlier in the day. Anyway, the bikes were great. I got a bike with a basket to hold our things. They also have Surreys, kids bikes, and the Deuce Coup(two rider) and Quad(single rider). When we returned, the guy asked if we had a good time which I thought was a nice touch. Great experience. Riding bikes in beautiful weather near the beach with my kids made for a perfect Sunday!

Place has reasonable prices. The strip is very short and one hour of rental is more then plenty of time. If they had a 30 min rental that would have been good enough.

This place was awesome. We rented the bike for two,(I uploaded a picture) for an hour, for $ 20. We rode up and down the beach… which at times can get a little scary — as you are are on the street with cars and other people on bikes and walking… but you hopefully just maneuver yourself around them, and it works out :) We ended up only riding for a half hour, I could have went more but the person I was with wanted to stop after a half hour. It can be hard on your legs, if you arent used to exercising I guess… my legs also hurt a little, and maybe they will hurt more tomorrow, but I really enjoyed it! Its a bit hard to steer, with two people, and one handle in the middle, its a bit of an awkward fit, but nothing thats too horrible. The guy working today was very nice and friendly, showed us how to use the bike, adjusted the seats, and off we went! They had other things you could rent like regular bikes, and the carts with seats that held I believe up to 6… SOMUCHFUN!
