Update: looks like they are already going downhill… Ordered take out and the sushi was blahhhh. So disappointed.

Well exceeded any expectation I had when I looked up Sushi restaurants near my hotel. Especially when I see a happy hour menu with spicy tuna and spicy yellowtail on it that goes everyday from 4 – 7. Why not order them right. Just the right size to try out. Wanted to also order a specialty roll so I went with the suggested Fuji roll. Very good. Would recommend this restaurant over many Sushi restaurants that I have been to. Btw the service was top notch and very attentive.

This is a perfectly fine neighborhood sushi bar. Fish quality is good, and the preparations are professional.
All of the fish selections for the sashimi lunch were fresh tasting and it was a nice assortment. There is a large assortment of rolls available as choices on the sushi lunch.
The Tuna Kobachi was a fairly small serving, and the very thinly sliced avocado was a bit hard to deal with, but the flavors were good.
Service was very friendly and welcoming.

Best Sushi in town, it was so fresh. Me and my husband have been about 5 times and we always love all the different rolls. The service is amazing, always with a smile. Check out there great happy hour and there lunch specials.

Visited Yoshi based off of some great reviews on social media we had seen. My girlfriend isn’t a fan of sushi but was ok to go in when she saw they had some cooked items on the menu. The place was fairly empty when we walked in, so we were attended to immediately. Spoke at length with the waitress and the sushi chef. My girlfriend was slightly disappointed as she saw online that there was hibachi here and was expecting the table with the show, not the case here. They do cook some hibachi but it is in the back and they bring you a plate, and the menu is more limited than most hibachi restaurants.
We started off with some Gyoza which wasn’t bad, she got some teriyaki steak and I ordered 2 sushi rolls. Now as for mine when it came out, I loved the sushi. Ended up devouring it. Loved it so much I ordered another roll. Now the Hibachi meal left a lot to be desired. The steak was covered in teriyaki sauce, and a little cold and gelatinous. The taste wasn’t the worst thing I’ve had, but the meal being slightly cold and the texture being like steak wrapped in cold gravy wasn’t very appetizing at all and had a hard time getting over it. The fried rice was a miss as well, just not as flavorful as we’d come to expect from a Japanese restaurant.
If you’re looking for a good sushi restaurant in the area, this is a good spot to check out in my opinion-​very tasty, good service and very reasonable for sushi. They even have a great happy hour from 4−7pm daily that is very extensive. But if you’re looking for hibachi or anything cooked for Japanese, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. For rating I’d give the sushi and service a 4, but I couldn’t bring myself to give it more than 3 stars as the cooked items were more of a 1 or 2.

Surf and Turf roll. Shrimp tempura cream cheese spicy tuna topped with steak and scallions. Omg it was delicious! I wasn’t prepared for how spicy it was, but it didn’t build up and instead it just added dimension to the flavor. Tommy the chef cut my pieces smaller upon request and. Julie, my waitress foresaw my every need! Really fantastic job! The place should be a lot busier than it is. Prices are reasonable. Staff is excellent.

Amazing Sushi! I have been looking for a good sushi restaurant in the area and I found it! The sushi was actually cold, which was great! The toasted sesames on top where great. I know those last two things sound silly, but when they are missing from my sushi, it really take the taste down. This is my new sushi restaurant!

Terrific! Stopped in late, just before closing time. We were greeted as if it was any other time. The service and staff were very friendly and even though we were eating right up to closing time, we never felt rushed. I ordered the Sashimi and all of the items very vey fresh and presented well. I would definitely eat here again.

Me and my gf are visiting Orlando for the first time. Noticing it’s within walking distance from where we stay, we decided to give it a try. It is located at a quiet shopping square which has plenty of choices of after dinner walk. The price is a bit high but worth. We ordered sashimi dinner, chirashi and lovers roll. Tastes great and pretty original. Would recommend.

My family and I came in looking for good food after a long day and crappy lunch at Disney. This place definitely did not disappoint. Prices and food were great. Our waitress was so lovely. The place was empty but we loved the calm ambiance. If I could I would give them 6 stars because of how good our waitress was with the children. I would definitely recommend.

This place is very unsuspecting in a strip mall and was near the hotel I stay for work. They have a happy hour and great prices on rolls and drinks, so I thought I would check it out. The service is efficient and super friendly. I ordered the sea weed salad as an app. It was way too fishy tasting for me. I then ordered a veggie roll and tuna roll. The rolls were tasteless. I didn’t expect much from $ 2.50 rolls but I expected some taste. I probably should have ordered a specialty roll, they all sounded really good, but I was trying to be somewhat healthy.
I would try this place again but get something different. Don’t go for ordinary here, all their specialty rolls sounded do good and the other reviewers seemed to really enjoy them. I wouldn’t recommend the seaweed salad unless you like the way the bottom of the ocean tastes.

The sushi was really delicious! And everything else here was terrific. Good customer service also!

I am confused by all the raving reviews since our visit was anything but exciting. I’m always sceptical when places have a check in offer. It makes me think they need to lure customers to make up for something. In this case, I think my theory was correct.
Even tho this place may be «under new mgmt», it needs help with the table and chairs. The chairs are super worn out and the plastic cover on the table is kinda weird.
We went for happy hour and the rolls were $ 3 each for the ones we got. We always order shrimp tempura but this tempura was not crunchy. We ordered others and they were mushy. It just wasn’t good.

The new owners are awesome! This a must try place. I enjoyed a nice dinner with my little one. They offer a variety of of wine, beer, and saki. I did not get to try any tonight. On my next visit when I’m not driving, I will definitely take advantage. I also saw a sign for happy hour from 4 – 7 every day! Pretty cool for locals in the area.

They have the top quality toro tuna sushi and salmon. They don’t do hibachi anymore cuz the owner was changed but the quality of sushi and roll is awesome.

OMG!!! We just finished dinner and it was sooooooo good. I will be back! I only gave 4 stars because it took a very long time. Otherwise, everything tastes AMAZING and the girl that took my order was very sweet. I am allergic to imitation krab and they had no problems with substitutions.
Went again tonight, everyone lived it!

I was the only one in there at prime time for dinner. That should have been my first sign. The sushi was not fresh, visibly looked previously frozen. It left a funky taste in my mouth. There was no A/​c on when i was in there and it was very warm. The waitress was very friendly and polite.

This place is no longer a steakhouse, but now just a sushi bar and occasionally ramen upon request. Disregard the previous reviews for this places for steakhouse, it’s fabulous with sweet and attentive owners. The prices are reasonable and the food are exceptionally good, it’s a must try. The miso ramen was amazing and the sushi. They were cut into sizes that was just right, not too thick or thin. Also they request for some feedback on how their service and food was, which I gladly pointed out and surprisingly they took criticism and took it into consideration. I would come back here again
