Good haircut by nice people. I’ve never had to wait long, I’ve also avoided the military rush.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I had a few friends go on and on about this place being better than the PX so I decided to try it out. I went in with a very normal spiked gelled front and asked for the same haircut I have received since the third grade (skin to 1 ½, high fade, trim the bangs so I can spike them up). Out of all the barber shops I have been and said that, this is the first that gave me a horrible experience. I went to the lady working at the second chair from the right (next to the bosses chair) and she began cutting as normal except when she took the clipper straight down the middle like she was trying to land a 747. I jumped to feel what I hoped had not just happened and I felt the baldness of my scalp. Now I look like I didn’t in basic training! All she said was «oh…sorry». Then she had the audacity to charge me for the haircut! It wasn’t until the boss lady came out and they gave me cash back for my credit charge. I have dealt with some uneven lines, stragely hairs, and even the very rare «im not comfortable cutting hair that short», but never the let me ask you what you want, repeat it back to you then ignore you and give a short «oh sorry» when I make you look ridiculous. I will never go back and I could not in good faith recommend this place to anyone. Until my hair grows back out I will be the walking soapbox encouraging people to never go there, once it’s back to normal I will end my angry pursuit.

My haircut was fine. I don’t require a lot to be happy, just a trim every few months. They met this requirement easily.
I was somewhat excited about the idea of a towel treatment and gentle massage afterwards. «Gentle» is definitely not the way I would describe it. The lady who took care of me started to rub my shoulders, which was a little harder than I would prefer but I figured it would be over in a minute or two. Seconds later, she was beating my back like she was working a punching bag. It caused me to tense up, making the «relaxing» massage totally pointless. I was definitely more tense after the massage than before. Maybe if I decide to come back I’ll ask to skip the massage portion.

Love the hot towel. Always a great haircut, extremely friendly. The owner is incredibly nice and can do a fade.

I’ve always been against paying for haircuts on post. This place was perfect. I’ll definitely be coming here for the rest of my haircuts. Great cut, good environment, close to base.

Always pleased when I go here to get my hair cut. I always choose between my two favorites barbers, but I know that the owner doesn’t let anyone cut unless she knows they’re ready.

I finally gave up on the Fort Meade Barber and decided to check out what they had just outside the gate… I wish I would have checked this out sooner.
Through my military career I’m used to stopping in for a haircut, just sit down and get it over with because I had to… end of story. But I actually enjoyed this haircut and look forward to coming back.
First off, my barber was very personable, like she actually cared that there was a person sitting under the head of hair she was cutting. Then after the haircut, which she did a good job, she used a hot towel on my head and neck, then massaged my neck and shoulders. I was surprised when I went to go pay that it was only $ 10.
I now have a new Barber.

Best barbershop in the area… just opened… make sure to ask for Soon! Price was great and havent gotten my hair cut the way i wanted like this in a while… definitely two thumbs up!
