Protips Nail Salon

I normally don’t post reviews but I had to share my positive experience with this nail salon. I live in Gambrills and I was looking for a nail salon in the area that hadn’t jacked up their prices and still provided good customer service. I called on Saturday morning at around 10am when they opened and asked if they had any appointments for the day. They said to come in at 11. Ten minutes later they called me back and asked if I wanted to come in early because she was open and I agreed since I live only 5 minutes down the street. I have to be honest, I don’t venture much into the odenton/​ft Meade side very often and I probably would have judged this place by the outside and its neighboring businesses but boy was I wrong. There was only two ladies working, the owner and her niece. I was getting a full set of acrylics done with the owner. She talked to me the whole time which I loved! So friendly, asked questions about my life… told stories… such a pleasure to get to know her. Not to mention the attention to detail and care she took in doing my nails was exceptional. At the end I only paid $ 28 dollars for acrylic stiletto nails. Fantastic service for an even more fantastic price. I will be returning for sure.

The owner has been here for a long time. She will give you the perfect design on your feet. At least they are very clean with their equipment. I saw her take some instruments she used on me out of the autoclave. That’s a plus with cross contamination. A lot of these shops don’t even clean their equipment. I love her I will definitely be going back. Be sure to make an appointment. It’s much easier for her that way because she is the only one working right now but she is well worth the wait. Oh and she has very reasonable prices.

highly recommend … did a walk in and out of town taking my DIL out for a pedicure and after seeing the wonderful job that Janice did on her, decided to get my nails ‘filled’… best job in a long time… great service, fast service … thanks, Janice ! btw, try the Tai place next door. AMAZING !
