Bottom Line: A nice, but very busy shopping center with options for dining, erranding, pampering and of course shopping. I am not intimately familiar with Gambrills/Odenton so for me the older«The Village at Waugh Chapel» and the newish«Waugh Chapel Towne Center» shopping center meld together in my mind. However, this review is specifically for the older The Village at Waugh Chapel which is anchored by Safeway, LA Fitness, Marshalls and Home Goods. Although busy and older than the adjoining center, this strip mall is still a very nice and well maintained shopping center. Parking at the Towne Center next door is a little tough because it’s laid out to feel like a 1950s town center with a «Main Street» but The Village parking lot is more typical of a strip mall. Shops and eateries surround the parking lot with a few small retailers sprinkled in the center. For the reason, at The Village, there is plenty of parking and you can park fairly close to your destination. Recently I have logged some quality time at Home Goods and Grilled Cheese & Co. but I also know you can’t go wrong at Robert Andrew Salon and Spa. Overall, although busy, with awkward traffic patterns at times, this is a great shopping center and I like it enough to make the circuitous trip here from my Arnold home.

Perfect place to be. It is classy, quiet, if you want to shop or hangout with out the hassle of noise or large crowds.

Love the whole area of waugh chapel. Plenty of shops, great variety. Only downside I can say is the traffic thru the parking lot. Its always busy!

Recently built in 2013. It’s a nice place with a lot of shops. Traffic on Route 3 isn’t great. Putting this mall here, makes it worst. Basically, you got one main entrance that puts in a choke point, where all the restaurants reside. The main shopping area and movie theater surround the parking lot. Having said that, there are a lot of great shops. Wegman has to be one of the better supermarkets, possibly the best one in this area. Dicks is the best chain sports store. Who doesn’t like Bed, Bath and Beyond? A Target is also here. A number of small shops also is available. Pretty soon, the traffic in Crofton/Odenton will be unbearable, if not already. But I guess that’s the price you’ll pay when you put in nice nice stores.
