We had to choose from 5 locations and we picked this place and it didn’t disappoint us. The BBQ sauce is just right to the taste. Not too strong but full of flavor. Five stars for awesome and nice staff!!! You know it’s good food when the guy coming in behind you is known by his first name. We went with his recommendation of brisket and hot links and hw wasn’t wrong. We also went after lunch so it wasn’t busy at all and they were fast! Definitely will be getting our bbq from here from now rather than dickeys who always messes up the order and their brisket is way to fatty! This brisket was 5 stars!!! Bbq sauce they have goes great too! The boyfriend is picky and he loved it too!

Baked beans were bland and flavorless. Brisket was just okay. Not particularly tender or juicy. Jalapeño cheddar sausage was dry and wrinkly with a really fine ground and dense texture like wiener. Potato salad was very good, but at a barbecue place, it’s sad that it was the high point. Service was quick, too quick for good barbecue, but not as friendly as it could have been. As a lone man on a business trip, friendly is important. Overall this place is completely forgettable, which is sad, because I wanted to write a positive review today.

I went to Smokey’s West Texas BBQ for lunch. I ordered the brisket, hot link, turkey breast with baked beans & potato salad. The food was excellent (I finally found a place that has awesome baked beans in TX!!) and the service was very good (for Odessa, good service is a rare treat). The place was small but clean … I will be back!

I don’t even know where to start with this place! Its crazy chill, relaxing, good, cheap, delicious! I eat here 2 or more time a week. Its a great family run business! I HIGHLY suggest the Brisket Burrito loaded with the hand cut fries. Honestly, I love this place!

I absolutely love this place. Every time I go I am met with nothing less than excellent service and amazing food. I love the brisket burrito and potato salad. Awesome place.
