Came here on a Friday night, it was a little slow but the service was great. The bar tender Roberto has great customer service skills. The cook jori know what he is doing. I would strongly suggest this place to anyone. There is also karaōke there. There is many drink options and there is always music playing. The parking is the no longer a members only. I would strongly suggest anyone coming by and check it out. You have nothing to lose(but stress)

Both times I’ve eaten here I’ve ordered breakfast. They have brunch on Saturday and Sunday. I like eggs so you cannot really go wrong with breakfast. The veggie omelette was tasty. The jam for the toast seemed old and gloppy, but otherwise, everything tasted good. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They have decent music playing and a Creature from the Black Lagoon pinball machine that’s fun to play. They said the place gets hopping during Karaōke which they have 3 nights a week.

I went for their Monday steak special for $ 5. Was it a premium cut? No. I did call ahead to see what cut it was, and the employee said ribeye… it was far from it. Yet, for $ 5, I can’t complain. I’d go again, for the steak was seasoned well, but I will not pay the normal price on other days. Drinks are priced well also.

I haven’t been in the Sand Trap for many years, thought we would stop in for a beverage and a bite. The bartender was very friendly and accommodating and she provide good food and beverage service and she followed up on both, never leaving us wanting. We were very hungry so I ordered a Philly cheese steak and the wife was glad to see they had extended breakfast service on Saturday and Sunday so she could get breakfast at 2:00 in the afternoon. Food came out in a reasonable time, portions were good, flavor was good. The Philly had chunks of seasoned steak(not thin slices like one might expect) and tasted pretty good. The wife’s breakfast included perfectly cooked eggs, bacon and toast and not so great hash browns but overall a good breakfast. In summary, good service, good beverages & good food in a clean dive bar environment who could ask for more.

My wife loves Karaōke and we have not been since we moved to Ogden or Utah for that matter. I looked this place up on line and decided to give it a shot. This is definitely a dive bar which is not meant as a negative comment. When we arrived we were greeted warmly by the girl behind the bar and received our beers pretty quickly. We arrived around 9pm and the Karaōke did not start until about 10. It filled up ok with a mixed crowd from college kids. one who got hammered and obnoxious, to locals and a middle aged crowd. the Karaōke guy was nice and kept it fair for everyone so you my wife got her mic time. We got a sampler that was not very good but what I expected. The outside is kind of sketchy but don’t let that deter you. the people were nice, the beers were cold and served in a timely manner. We were going in for a couple of drinks and ended up staying till close…
