Almost Home Inn Ogunquit

My husband and I just came back from Almost Home Inn, Ogunquit Maine and had one of the best times! Jacqui Grant was an amazing host who served one of the best breakfast around. She made us feel at home and the flow of conversation was endless. Our afternoons were spent sitting around a beautiful gas fireplace and being served wine, cheese and laughter! We plan to make this an annual trip. The room we stayed in was the Garden Room which was very spacious and beautifully decorated! I can’t say enough about Almost Home! The location is perfect. It is a short walk into town or you can catch the trolley a few feet away.

Amazing find of a B & B inn Ogunquit! We have stayed here twice and keep coming back; rooms are great, Jacqui the innkeeper is awesome and the location is a perfect walk into town or the beach.
Breakfast on the patio is so relaxing and so big and delicious, better than a restaurant! Jacqui cooks an amazing breakfast, very memorable and perfect spot for coffee and breakfast. She is the hostess with the mostest and has wonderful suggestions for activities and dining!
The inn is a perfect distance for walks into town, to walk off that breakfast and all those lobster rolls! There is also a trolley stop about 30 feet from the front door!
Rain or shine, Almost Home is a great place for fun, relaxing or just a New England experience!

The most charming B&B we have stayed at. Jacqui Grant is your hostess and she goes out of her way to make your stay memorable and comfortable. She is about a 20 minute walk to Footbridge Beach (which IMO is better than the main Ogunquit Beach area). Less foot traffic and more expansive (Ogunquit gets tight when the tide rolls in). She will drive you to and from the beach or any local area if you choose. She makes homemade breakfasts every day along with coffee and mimosas. She serves wine and cheese later/​mid afternoon (wines are from her son’s winery in California). The rooms (five) are gorgeous, well appointed, and have a large king size super comfy bed in each. Lovely towels, toiletries and a small fridge in your room. Free WiFi. We stayed over July 4^th weekend and then booked another stay (*just returned!) before we left for the last week of July. We plan on returning in September as well. We feel we have made a friend in Jacqui and will always stay with her when vacationing in Ogunquit.

We’ve stayed at Almost Home Inn Ogunquit twice, and both stays were excellent. Jacqui, the owner is always very helpful and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and spotless. We like the king beds, the great breakfasts, and the Inns location, just a short 8 – 10 min walk downtown.
Jacqui has even dropped us off in Perkins Cove when we didn’t feel like walking or getting the trolley or taxi. She also offers good dining recommendations as there are many choices in Ogunquit. Her rates tend to be quite reasonable, and we like her property better than the big chain or corporate choices.
