«Pet friendly ppl like 5 stars too». I wish I did not change my own bedding– I would not have seen what was underneath. I wish the globe in the beautifully tiled bath was cleaned. I wish flowers were planted in the window boxes, instead of cigarettes. I dream of a GAZEBOINN atmosphere the next time I return– after all, they do welcome pets.

Had a wonderful stay here with my family of 5. We brought our dog and met the very friendly owners Scott and Peter. Part of the money is donated to the kennebunkport animal shelter. Comfortable, clean, and located very close to the center of Ogunquit. I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed there from Sunday till Wednesday and must say that I enjoyed the Captains Quarters very much, it was a very comforting setting, felt right at home, staff was great and very nice, treated us like we’ve been there before and it was our first time visiting, we will definitely be coming back here when visiting Maine

Just back from our second stay from this truly pet friendly place! It’s hard to find a pet friendly place that is so pretty, well kept and CLEAN. Stayed in suite 2 which is like having your own apt. The owners are very helpful and friendly. Love this place!

Just got back today from a wonderful stay at the Captain’s quarters. I’ve stayed at their other property The Gazebo Inn before, and absolutely loved it so I knew I couldn’t go wrong. Captains quarters is Pet Friendly which is why I chose to stay here this time. We stayed in suite 4, and had a nice sitting area with kitchenette, keurig coffee maker, fridge, microwave and toaster. Everything looks brand new! The bathroom is gorgeous, the beds were super comfortable, and the sheets were heavenly soft. We went over to the Gazebo for their homecooked breakfast(scones baked fresh every morning by the way), and fresh squeezed juices, yogurts, etc. Truly impressed from start to finish. Truly a very nice, clean, warm atmosphere and always felt welcomed by Bruce and Scott. Thanks again! Can’t wait to come back!!!

Owners were always helpful with a smile — the rooms were clean clean clean(I’m 7 months pregnant & can smell anything within a 6 mile radius & the only thing I could smell in our room was clean). Brought our dog & had no issues with other dogs while we were there. The rooms are lovely & updated(although the walls are a little thin). It’s on the main drag(and close to everything) but you can’t hear the traffic at all because of that awesome water fountain outside. Love it! Will definitely be back!

We had a great time. First off, the room is recently renovated and so nice that I was shocked that it allows pets. Second, location is great, across from a wine/cheese bar, across from Lobster Pound restaurant and next door to the Egg and I. The owners are very nice and even came down to meet us and the dog. The room had a book that showed nearby dog parks and various nearby beach restrictions on dogs. We were lucky that nearby Wells allows dogs until June 15th so we took our lab puppy for a swim. There was also a book with menus on all Ogunquit restaurants. We booked for one night and decided to stay 2. We had the end unit, #2, a 2 bedroom. We took advantage of the outside table and had some wine and cheese. We will definitely be back.

This was a great find! I spend quite a bit of time in this area, but only recently started traveling with my dog. I had no idea what to expect and couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. Recently renovated with wide plank wood flooring and tile throughout. I stayed in suite 5 which is a one bedroom with a king bed, decent living area with full size couch, dining area with seating for four and a FULL kitchen. The bathroom is very nicely done. I felt more like I was in a nice condo. There is a side patio with seating and a grill as well. It sits on Maine street but is far enough back I never was bothered by noise. The owners were very helpful when I called looking for information about traveling with my dog. They only have 5 suites I believe, so book early. Very reasonably priced and walking distance to everything. They have really done a nice job with this place. Most people staying have their dogs, so if this bothers you, they have another gorgeous establishment up the road; The Gazebo.
