After being told it would take 15 –20 minutes to seat our party of 9, we ordered 3 pizzas. We waited over an 45 minutes to be seated and then our party had to be split up. Over an hour and 15 minutes our pizzas came and they, could not be cut, as if they were sitting on the oven or warming tray. Cumberland Farms has better has better pizza. This was our 1st and last time eating there and we are locals.

Gluten free pasta — what a special treat! My family enjoyed the glutenous pizza and ravioli. Two thumbs up!

David, Clearly you missed the point. I do not need nor do I want free food. I eat very well and do not need any help from you with that. To clarify, I have never in my life asked for a gift certificate from a restaurant. I was explaining that the party I was with, and I, were talking about what might be in the envelope that was delivered by the delivery person and guessing it was a gift certificate because some of us have, in the past, experienced a restaurant including a gift certificate as their way of saying«hey sorry for the mix up please accept this token». Please know that we were not wanting a gift certificate from Pizza Napoli. I’m sorry you interpreted it that way but your perception of the situation is way off. There was no agenda on my part or the part of anyone else in my party that evening. We wanted a quick bite to eat before a show, nothing more and nothing less. To say I was trying to «blackmail» you for something that I assure you, I did not want, is absurd. We did not want a «gift certificate» from Pizza Napoli. I do not need to be told by you how to behave in the future when visiting restaurants. Perhaps you would consider taking some of your own advice and reflect a bit on your behavior. I believe that when an opportunity for improvement presents itself it truly is a gift that one should humbly and graciously accept. You have confirmed what we heard, your reputation preceded you. I was told after I wrote the review on Unilocal that I would hear from you and I did, fair enough. However, I am not prepared to spar with you. We obviously see things very differently and so be it. ps. just to get it straight the flourless torte was not offered to the gentleman on the phone but was mentioned later when I called.

Used to love their pizza and would give a 4 or maybe a five but can’t do that anymore. It’s still good but not great. Had a great rum punch at a good price. Excellent service and was greeted and seated quickly. The Napoli pizza was good but the garlic was not evenly distributed. I would still go back because I love their pizza crust. It’s convenient too right on rt 1.

Close to our resort; I come here every year. This time however the portions were smaller, and food wasn’t as good. It’s pretty pricey, which isn’t an issue if the food was amazing… But it wasn’t. Must be new chefs, staff wasn’t very friendly. In the past dining in and taking out our experience was excellent. Bottom line food was edible, maybe they were having an off night. Hopefully when we return next year it will improve!

Tonight’s dinner was absolutely perfect. Being April 12th it was not busy so we were one of three tables taken. Very cozy and warm with the wood paneling and gas fireplace. Clean with two televisions. For apps my wife had the Caeser salad, I split 10 buffalo wings with my youngest son, and my oldest son had mozzarella sticks. All three were very good. Only complaint was the wings were on the small side however they were cooked and sauced perfectly. For dinner my wife and I split a small #11 Sicilliana. It was excellent. Crust, sauce, cheese and meats were all very tasty. My oldest son ordered a calzone with hamburg. Very nice portion and well put together. My youngest ordered from the kids menu and had chicken wings and fries. The chicken wings were those an adult would enjoy. Baked nice and crispy. Both boys had fountain soda and Cabernets for my wife and I. Service was excellent. Can wait to visit again.

Pizza Napoli is one of the best around! Their pizza is delicious as are their chicken wings, sandwiches and salads. The servers are always very pleasant and attentive. The restaurant provides a nice, inviting atmosphere with a fireplace in the winter and outdoor seating for the warmer months. If you haven’t eaten here, make sure to stop in the next time you visit Ogunquit!

Bland limp pizza and under cooked wings. Ordered here out of desperation while visiting Ogunquit. Would have been more happy with a drive through. I should have listened to the Unilocal reviews most which are negative but accurate. Oh well lesson learned. They don’t seem to care much about quality of their food.

I really didn’t want to eat here because I didn’t like the owner’s response to posts on Unilocal.I know it’s always tough to get unhappy reviews, but the owner’s responses exhibited a defensiveness that bordered on nasty, quite a demonstration of how not to respond to a negative review on Unilocal. However, between the winter season and Ogunquit’s main street construction, we were left with almost no choices for dinner, so we finally hoofed it over to the nearest pizza place for a warm dinner and a craft beer. The service tonight was amazing, deserves a special shout-out, and is the impetus for writing this review at all. Sierra, the bartender, was exceptional, and for more than the friendly greeting. When we ordered beer, she asked me if I wanted a sample of mine first, and I’m really glad she did. Turned out, I didn’t really like it and I ordered the lager instead.(The original beer wasn’t bad; just wasn’t to my taste. So glad she offered, because I’m the type of person who would dutifully drink something I didn’t really care for.) When we ordered pizza, she informed us that the type we had ordered didn’t have tomato sauce and asked whether that was okay. We had totally missed the fact that it was a white pizza and as we mulled over what we wanted instead, she put in our appetizer order and slipped us the remote control for the tv behind the bar. Even though she should have been swamped with all the to-go orders she was taking, her attitude was friendly and unhurried and we were never left unattended. The fries and bruschetta were fantastic. I’m not quite sure what made the fries so fantastic; they were topped with crushed pepper and coarse salt, but something else gave them a flavor that made us put in a second order. Eventually, we ended up taking the pizza to go because we had filled up on appetizers. One thing to be aware of: the brick oven does seem to char things, as many of the other reviews on here have noted. The pizza and bruschetta bread we ordered had a charred edge. Personally, I enjoy the flavor of brick-oven char, but if you have a picky child I wouldn’t recommend ordering delivery from here.

Worst experience ever. Over 1 hr to get pasta and fried food. Asked for manager and it too another 15 for her to come. After a couple conversations with her she was caught in a lie. Offered free deserts by no one came with them. I hope Dave and Carlos reads these reviews and makes some changes before his staff causes their business to go bust. Update: Owner is claiming through replies that if he pays Unilocal they will take bad reviews down. This is false. If you want to get rid of bad reviews, get rid of the bad service.

Momma always taught me that if you can’t say anything good, don’t say anything. Get a pizza someplace else, not here.

First of all… I only gave them one star because the delivery man was on time and he was pretty cool. Now…as for the pizza… it LOOKED good… however after eating one piece of the Rustica(veggie) pizza… I was up all night running to the bathroom. I threw up SEVERAL times and my husband wanted to take me to the ER… he thought I had food poisoning… and I may have… but I stuck it out… and fortunately this morning I’m feeling somewhat better. Also $ 18 for a small pizza is completely outrageous… but it was the only place who I could find that was open late and delivered. Update…David G… In your own words — You Need To Get A Clue. Your Pizza was nasty. Point Blank. I was not interested in a refund. However I AM interested in my health and possibly saving someone else the pain I went through that evening. I’ve attached a short article from Web MD… or you could contact your local hospital. My original opinion still stands PLZ if you care about your health go eat somewhere else!

I took a party of 18 there tonight. Almost everyone at my table of 10 thought their pizza was burnt. When the birthday girl tried to send hers back, the chef said that’s the way it is supposed to be. There is brick oven nicely charred, and there is tastes burnt. Some of these looked and tasted burnt. For the kitchen to refuse to remake one that was sent back by someone whose birthday it was was completely unacceptable. I will never go back and will tell other people not to go!

Stopped here on a whim on our way home from«camp». Started out ok… Tristan was our server and was very friendly and attentive. Ordered a few beers, founders all day ipa and a pumpkinhead, and when I asked for a cinnamon sugar rim was told«not sure if they can do that but let me check». Happily, I did receive the rim. Then put an order in for mozzarella sticks, which were very good, albeit a little small and a pizza. Ordered the Quattro Formaggi, which included TOMATOSAUCE and 4 kinds of cheese. The pizza came without sauce, we questioned the waiter who said we could«keep it» but he needed to show the chef. He came back and said they were making us a new one, but they had to keep the other one to show the owner. By owner, I’m assuming the trash, since chefs get so insulted when they make a mistake. Our waiter brought us some tomato sauce and breadsticks to pick at while we waited, but frankly it was a flat out insult to, have us sit and wait for you to correct your mistake. Suffice it to say, won’t ever be back In response to the comment back from the business. 1. I did not now, nor have I ever expected anything in life for free. YOUR employee said he would leave the pizza for us to eat while we waited, we didn’t ask for it. 2. WE knew what was supposed to be on the pizza, but clearly YOUR staff did not. 3. My comment actually said what was on the pizza, not that I wasn’t sure. 4. I left the remade pizza there, so clearly didn’t want the«free» pizza you claim I did. But again, doesn’t matter because I won’t be back. You only do business in the summer when tourists don’t know better so good luck, you will need it.

Just ok, we sat inside and it was arctic. I inquired about the temp and the server informed us that the owner keeps«a lock on it», while she never apologized or offered for us to move outside. I found the server(an older blond woman) curt and not particular helpful. I inquired about doing a half/half pizza and she said some kinds you can but didn’t elaborate. Umm, ok. We ordered a large Pollo Broccolo. It was too cheesy and the chicken pieces were so gigantic they needed to be cut. My older son got small cheese pizza which was way to big for a kid(there was no pizza on kid menu… odd). My other son got chicken, penne broccoli Alfredo which he enjoyed and could have easily fed two kids. The wait for the pizza was kind of long and since they don’t have bread we had to order garlic bread for kids which was rustic and kind of burnt. Ehhh

After a 45 minutes wait for a pizza, discovered it was burnt! Didn’t the cook see this when taking it out of the oven. If he doesn’t care and thinks this is good enough to serve, that is a reflection on his restaurant. He should have thrown it away and started over. Apparently, he didn’t check on it while cooking. I wouldn’t go back to this place on a bet! Go elsewhere.

Came around 6pm on a Friday and it was moderately busy. The hostess was very friendly, as was our server. We ordered a small Pollo e Broccolo and it was about 12″, cut into 4 pieces. For a light dinner, two pieces each for us was fine, but if we were hungrier we may have each gotten one ourselves(and had leftovers). The pizza was perfectly crispy and the crust was wonderfully crunchy. The red sauce was sweet and delicious. I also really enjoyed the broccoli. However, the pieces of chicken(while tender) were huge and a bit unmanageable on the pizza. They were also pretty bland compared to the rest of the pizza. I’d come back to try another pizza sans chicken!

We were in Ogunquit on vacation a few weeks ago and stopped here for lunch on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Most of the customers were seated outside but we chose to sit inside the restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Out server was nice and very efficient. We ordered subs and a pizza and the food was very good. Fresh and tasty. I also ordered a rum drink from the specialty drink menu which was delicious. The deserts were also terrific. I would definitely go there again on my next trip!
