Not very well maintained or clean. Our room sort of smelled but other than that was fairly comfortable. Breakfast was pretty awful, sugar on everything. The«gourmet touch» was two Hershey kisses on a squirt of canned whipped cream with chocolate syrup over that on the side of my plate. But, they do take dogs and that we did need. And while not cheap it wasn’t over the top in price. Good location. Innkeeper was not in your face and is quite pleasant.

We chose to stay here this week due to the dog-friendly policy. The owner was super nice and the location is great. The front yard is nice for people watching and there’s even a dog tether. I would give a higher rating but the facility is definitely a bit rough around the edges, our room was small and worn and breakfast was mediocre at best. Although the main house common area is in good shape, some of outside sections would benefit greatly from simple vacuuming and tidying up, for instance the air conditioner outside our room was covered with spider webs and dead bugs. However, the price was reasonable and reflected all of the above.

I stayed here in August for a weekend. Very comfortable. Nice room. Clean. GREATLOCATION. Good price. Nothing great, but it was fine for what we needed.

This is a great place if you bring your dog, since they are very dog friendly. The whole place is decorated with West Highland White Terriers. The owners have three, which are seen around the inn. Everywhere you go, there are little statues, paintings, coasters, and nick knacks that are emblazoned with«Westies». Overall, this inn has a great location, but it’s really average. The room was acceptable, not great. Not too clean(is that possible?), not too dirty either. The breakfast was delivered at an excruciatingly slow pace. Not sure why it takes so long to make a waffle. Nothing special about the food. The best thing is that we could walk right out the door to ogunquit’s many great restaurants and attractions. The marginal way is a short 2 minute walk, and the beach is 5 minutes down a nice path. I would only go back for the location and the reasonable price. We paid $ 130/night, which is much lower than average in Ogunquit. Other inns are probably nicer, but they are a long way from the restaurants, pubs, and the beach.

First of all, the breakfasts are wonderful. It is delicious and more than you could ever want to eat. But I know you really are paying for the location and great room. The rooms are clean and air conditioned and the staff is friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful getaway by the sea…
