The frozen yogurt is delicious! They carry the Only 8 brand of frozen yogurt, plus 1 or 2 sorbet flavors, and everything we sampled was excellent. I’ve tried the Only 8 stuff before and didn’t really like it. I figured I’d give it another try and so happy I did. Definitely worth a visit!

They had six different flavors of fro-yo when I went in, and the option to mix the two that were on the same machine. In my opinion having six flavors to choose from is pretty standard. I have been to places with more, I’ve also been to places with less. So I wasn’t disappointed with the flavor selection. I was disappointed that they didn’t have a plain tart flavor, but the triple chocolate and vanilla that I ended up getting were both delicious! Dry topping selection was good, but the fruit selection was limited. I don’t think many of the flavors would have gone well with much fruit though, so that wasn’t too much of an issue. Definitely would recommend this place. The girls working the counter were also really sweet. :)

This is the fourth in a series of reviews related to «Joni and Reid’s Impromptu Maine Beach Vacation.» To see the trip from the beginning, go to the review for the Norseman Resort in Ogunquit, ME. We have been successful at losing weight this year, and one of the reasons is that the only desserts we eat are an occasional visit to self-serve frozen yogurt shops, where you can get small portions of yogurt and mix-ins and only pay for what you want. We were excited to learn that Yogt had just opened in Ogunquit(next to the movie theater), so we tried it. Unfortunately, while the yogurt is pretty good(not as good as other places we’ve been), the place is very small, and the selection is limited. For the next review in this series, check out the Clam Shack in Kennebunkport, ME.
