I really like a clean grocery store. I don’t like there to be bugs flying around the fruit, dirt, dirty people going thru the produce and this is why I come to Vons.
The produce is always fresh. The bakery is always well stocked. The items they make are ever much as good as a high end bakery. The meat is always cut right and not full of fat or the bad stuff.
The prices are higher than that of your discount super markets but I believe it’s worth the extra money to have fresh produce, high quality meats and a clean store.
The employees are mostly friendly and willing to help if asked. Clean restrooms for customers. They bag what you buy. That’s another thing I love. I hate buying stuff then on top of that having to bag it up.

I was in here last Saturday evening at about 5:00 PM. We had three items so we went to the express lane. After waiting five minutes there while some lady tried an assortment of maxxed out credit cards and turned down with each one, we went to another register. The cashier who had a Supervisor name tag was looking into a book for some type of code. We told her we were ther and asked her to check us out. She was rude, got into another book, making us wait while she studied the binder. By the time we had been there for three minutes standing there with money in hand I asked her «why are you making us wait». She told me curtly to be patient. I told that bitch that we had no more patience. She stuck her nose back in the binder. She finally did sell us the three items but it took five minutes at the second register to buy the items. This so called supervisor has no business wearing the supervisor name tag as she does not have a clue about customer service. Fuck this Vons, fuck their union assed worthless
employees and fuck their high prices. Train these asswholes how to take customer service seriously. Without customers there is no reason for the worthless bitch to stand at the register.
