I’ve been to this restaurant a couple times, most recently for a late lunch/snack with a girlfriend. Really we wanted dessert, but a little something before so we weren’t eating only sugar. We came in just before they were closing(though we didn’t realize it at the time) and ordered small salads and a dessert to share. I love the atmosphere of this restaurant and the staff were all friendly to us, but the pace of the visit was insanely slow. We were seated right away but it took a long time for anyone to take our drink order and by then we were ready to order food but that wasn’t presented as an option until the drinks came out. I was a bit antsy because my girlfriend was on her way out of town and she didn’t have a lot of extra time, but no one seemed in any rush at all and the whole thing took much longer than we would have liked. When they brought in their signs and closed the front door I thought maybe they would serve us our food so we could eat and get out of their hair, but even then it took forever for anything to be brought to our table. I really enjoyed my salad and the dessert was wonderfully prepared too. I’d definitely return for the food and the atmosphere and polite people but not for the speed. Painfully slow.

We had our 1st visit this evening and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The food was amazing as was the service and the interaction with the staff. A very pleasant evening and one which we’ll repeat over and over again.

Expect nausea and indigestion. But the taste is good!!! Good salads. But who wants gas? Not I. Not I. And you know, I obviously got some.

My coworkers and I ate at Feast Bistro last night. The food and service are both warm and delicious. The staff is welcoming and very knowledgeable about the menu. The ambiance is cozy and feels like you are having dinner in your best friend’s home. I highly recommend the mussels appetizer and Ravioli main course. My coworker had the flat iron steak and it was cooked to perfection. Also, the back patio is dog friendly if you would like to bring your furry family member with you! You will not be disappointed at Feast Bistro!

Food: Cod Tacos: Food came out fairly quick. Two large tacos came out. The cod was really fresh and the ingredients that ADR up the taco was a good combination. Chocolate Lava cake: Interesting presentation. Served with cream. Tasted good. Service: Really friendly staff. Down to earth. Ambiance: Small but cozy. Old tunes 60’s &70’s playing in the background.

I have been to feast numerous times over the past few years. Usually it’s been OK especially for a restaurant in Ojai which for some reason seems to lack good restaurants even know it’s such a bucks up town. My recent meal there proved disappointing. My girlfriend ordered the ravioli which arrived cool. Not hot or lukewarm but cool. She returned them and they arrived a little bit later warm and tasty. I ordered steak and I ordered it medium. It arrived raw. On the side were some crusty potatoes and some leaves. And mind you they weren’t spinach or kale or anything like that they just look like leaves. We were sitting outside so perhaps they fell on the plate on the way to our table. The wine was good and reasonably priced. The service was good.

Everything was delicious! We started with the flatbread of the day… truffles potato, caramelized onions and cheese, with a little salad. My buffalo chicken salad had a nice piece of roasted chicken in buffalo sauce atop lettuce ringed with chopped tomatoes, cucumber, onions, celery and apple with nice chunks of blue cheese crumbles on top. My friends loved their burger, veggie burger, trio of salads and especially the pulled pork sandwich. And the French fries are amazing!

One of my favorite restaurants in town! Their duck is super yummy, so I have eaten it a few times and it was always excellent! Their soups are always good, too! They have a small menu but their daily specials make up for it! Great quiet outdoor seating!

Great lunch stop! Attentive servers, friendly staff. You can watch the chef cook! Perfect location on the Arcade. I am Vegan and was able to eat the Malibu Burger. Very good and a lot of food. Nice side salad with balsamic vinaigrette. Hubby had the veggie frittata. Friend had the pulled pork sandwich and a glass of Pinot Noir. Very good all around. Nice patio out back. Added plus, clean cute bathroom!

My friend and I stopped by to try the Chicken Banh Mi. Susan does not disappoint. It was incredible; sweet and spicy, with great local vegetables… I had the grilled cheese with fontina, mozzarella, and mushrooms. I put it with a cup of the carrot curry soup. Perfection. Kelly was very attentive, and it’s always a nice touch when the Chef comes to speak to you… We will definitely be back.

We waited for our food for over an hour. The food was terrible and cold when it arrived. The waitress did not apologise for the wait.

One of our favorite places to go for dinner in Ojai. The service is always excellent. The waiters /waitresses are very attentive and the owner comes to your table to chat and see how everything, this is a great personal touch. We went there on Valentines Day for dinner and even on a crazy busy night like that, the service was flawless. The food presentation is fabulous and every meal that we have had there has been delicious. other thing that I really enjoy about this restaurant is that the portion sizes are what a normal size should be and not oversized. The owners support local winemakers and farmers as well. Great restaurant with an intimate setting, consisting a fabulous dining experience!

Soooo delicious! I ordered my first-ever duck here and it was cooked to perfection. My parents had the pork tenderloin and rib eye and they were very please also. All of this pair perfect with the Ojai vineyard Pinot noir fe ciega we brought in. Wonderful service with friendly staff

To the rude guy that complained about the chicken Bahn Mi, you shouldn’t have burned that bridge. I just had one and it was great.

Came here today for lunch and ordered my favorite Chicken Banh Mi sandwich for a non-Authentic Vietnamese sub. I told our server to go easy on the Jalapeño. Server is accommodating. To my surprise, they substituted the roll for a Pita bread. They also skimp on the ingredients. The lady chef asked how was our food, my hubby mentioned the roll and that«we drove from Glendale because my wife liked your sandwich». She then said that«why, don’t you have Banh Mi sandwich in Glendale???». They don’t have the roll available that’s why they substituted the Pita(which is fine) but it was the way she blew us off with her tone of voice. With that said, we are indeed taking our business elsewhere. My favorite restaurant in Ojai is no longer. It was so hard to part ways with a dollar tip!

This place was good. I feel that there was a very limited menu. Maybe 15 items. Their drink selection wasn’t to impressive. Not a lot to choose from. I ordered the spaghetti and it was very good. Goat chose and cherry tomatoes. Very tasty

Having lived in Ojai during my teen years, I have quite a few memories of dining out at the limited circuit of restaurants off of Ojai Ave… and upon my return I was pleased to see changes only for the better in this quaint little valley community. My mom and I were visiting for the weekend and after a long sunny walk, felt like an early weekday lunch. Feast popped up on Unilocal and in front of our faces, so who were we to resist? Everyone at the restaurant was friendly, efficient but laid back and very accommodating. We were led out to the sun sprinkled patio out back were oldies music floated through. They’ve got blue plate specials daily and opting for that, we were rewarded with a delicious pulled pork sandwich with a side salad. Relaxed and inexpensive, while we didn’t necessarily«feast» we did enjoy this lunch option right off the main drag.

Anytime I’m in Ojai Feast Bistro is my go to spot. The ambiance is what I would imagine a French bistro would look like. If there for lunch you have got to try the local grass feed burger, you can really taste the difference in the quality and freshness of the beef patty. It comes with your choose of a side salad or French fries. I go for the fries with spicy rooster sauce. It takes me at least 10 minutes to decide what I want when I’m in for dinner!!! I can’t decide between the pork schnitzel(gluten free), catch of the day or the Watkins ranch flat iron steak. The catch is always prepared different and always a hit. I have never been disappointed in any of these choices. The combination of great ambiance, amazing local menu, and great service makes Feast Bistro my favorite place to eat in Ojai.
