When I arrived I was greeted by a very professional and sweet front desk lady who looks like Pocahontas. I was offered some tea or water while I relaxed in the waiting area while listening to the water trickling. Then I was escorted by the lovely esthetician Kim thru a cavernous entry way back to the treatment room. I felt like I was entering into a gold mine shaft and all my stress started to melt away. There was a cute little dish that I put my jewelry on. The room was clean, inviting and comforting. As I prepared for my Anti aging facial with an enzymatic peel, I settled in to the most comfortable table with yummy softy sheets and a blanket. While I was under the steamer she gave me an amazing massage feet, calves then hands, neck and scalp. The treatment was most relaxing and all the products smelled so good that I had to buy my own to take home and enjoy that same feeling again. I left feeling refreshed, renewed and young again. I highly recommend this place.

I went in for their oxygen facial. It was perfect. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I don’t know how the parking would be as I walked. It was easy to find. The spa had a cozy and pampering vibe. I would definitely return.

I have been to the Day Spa of Ojai twice now, and both times were perfect. The staff are incredible and prices are great considering the skill and technique they all have.

I was soo looking forward to coming here and this was a splurge for us. I had booked massages for my friend and I for 3pm on a Monday-not a couples massage since we are 2 ladies, but simultaneous massages. I specifically called back to request women therapists. My friend was called in at 3pm. The receptionist came and told me that a room would be opening up soon. I sat and waited alone in the waiting room for no less than 30 minutes. Was then greeted by my masseur, Fritz-a very nice GENTLEMAN!?! What could I do at this point? I already knew my friend would then be waiting another 30 mins for me to finish… good massage but I would have been more comfortable with a woman as I had specifically requested, and I couldn’t help feeling a little anxious– knowing my elderly friend who I was introducing to Ojai for the first time, would be sitting and waiting for me for half an hour. Had any explanation at all been offered, I would’ve been a little more understanding-if simultaneous appt times or male/female preference is a factor for you, I’d suggest confirming ahead of time.

My husband and I came her for our birthday s the spa was clean and cozy. I can’t recall the girl that I started with(but whoever she was, she had no listening skills at all) we booked for 3 hours here massage therapy and salt scrub. When I got to the salt scrub Veronique was there to start it. I went into begging mode. I said look I have this issue in my upper back I told the other girl but she just refused to use pressure and focus on my needs. Veronique exceeded where the first girl failed epicly. She still did the salt scrub, focusing on the area that was bothering me. That hour with her was better than the 2 hours before. If it was not for her I would have been beside myself. But I left content and happy. She even mentioned tips to improve my area of concern. Those owner of this place is so lucky to have Veronique working there. Thanks Veronique you have amazing skills and knowledge. Keep it up.

My cousin and I decided to end our weekend camping trip with a nice spa day. After coming across this spa in Ojai online, we decided this was the right choice for massages, facials and a foot treatment. My massage therapist Briana who also did my foot treatment was awesome! The foot treatment was first which was very relaxing. The massage was so good that I asked for extra time which she was happy to accommodate. She seemed to really enjoy what she was doing which I thought was really nice. The receptionist was also extremely sweet and very accommodating. I definitely suggest trying out this spa if you are in the Ojai area. If I am in the area again, I will absolutely be going back!

So my wife and i went to this place and expect a whole lot more for what we paid! They charge 15 extra for deep tissue and my wifes massage was like just lotion being rubbed on her back… With mine like 15 min in i asked if ahe could put the pressure she was putting on my hip bone to move up a little to my lower back and she rudely said«im just getting started» like really couldn’t u have said just ok… Now i didnt say anything about it after because i didn’t want to start any drama… Also we could hear the toilet flush in our room how can a person relax with that…

The massage was not deep tissue at all. They charge 15 extra for deep tissue without delivering it. My massage therapist had long sharp nails and rough hands! She did not ask about the pressure. She was inconsistent about the time spent on mt right limbs vs left. She also didn’t focus on my shoulders as asked. She spent more time applying lotion to my legs(gently). For 105 dollars an hour I would never come back! It was also loud. I could hear everything, every laugh word and toilet flush.

So, on the 3rd day of my 5 days in Ojai, I decided to book the Sedona Mud Wrap @ The Day Spa of Ojai. The Day Spa gives an illusion of a cool underground tunnel with these little mystical nooks that offer some unusually neat services. I was wrapped in the Red Room/nook. The wrap itself was hydrating yes, and soothing, yes, but it was also incredibly fun. I’ve never had a mud wrap and I loved it, right down to the space foil. I was pampered by Dinah who took these broken wings and mud wrapped them back to flight. I’ll be flying back to the Day Spa of Ojai. and you should too.

Nice ambiance. But the best thing was my, never-before-had, 2 hr. massage by Diana. She was excellent, responsive. It was an experience in which I did not have to say anything because her technique was perfect. Afterward, I felt a bit altered like I’d had a couple of glasses of wine. I loved that… no hangover! You will not be disappointed.

This spa is amazing. The staff is always happy and helpful. You start to feel relaxed the second you walk in the door. The owner, Kim, is so great, and the best eyebrow shaper in the business. There is never a problem with booking an appointment, and the skin care/misc. merch sold is actually good quality, not just upsells to make the spa an extra dollar.

Best facial in town. Kim the owner is lovely and knowledgeable. The grounds are so beautiful and calming. It’s a nice getaway from the silence of my home 5 houses away. LOL Inquire about the locals discount special.

In Ojai for a girls weekend– scheduled 3 massages for my mom, aunt and myself on a Saturday morning. Love, love, loved it! Not only were the massages AMAZING but the entire experience was great and incredibly relaxing. They start out with having you soak your feet while you’re filling out the questionnaire then you’re taken back to a room. All of the rooms even have their own cute name. They also have a little retail section with clothes, lotions, oils and stainless steel water bottles. I highly recommend this place!

This place is AWESOME. If I was super rich, I would have booked a whole day’s worth of pampering just to hang out on the grounds. The spa is in a house – kind of easy to pass on the road, so keep an eye out. It’s very homey and cozy and quaint. We filled out our initial paperwork while sitting in the backyard, enjoying the sun. The brought out bowls of hot water to dip our feet. They had already won me over at that point. I came with my sister and best friend and we all agreed that we had one of the best professional massages of our lives(and we all had different masseuses, to clarify). It was very tranquil and peaceful. After the massage, they let us hang out in the backyard for more sun time. And we sipped hot tea. It felt luxurious. The prices are fair – not crazy expensive like some places, much cheaper than the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa. An hour was $ 85. And they gave us a full 60 minutes – none of that 50 minute BS. I tipped $ 15, for a total of $ 100. Totally worth it!

We had a pleasant time at this day spa. If you’re looking for a high end spa experience this is not the place for you. It’s evident that it was a home that was altered to accommodate spa guests. We found it quaint and charming. We enjoyed a nice foot soak in the large backyard before our treatment. The staff left something to be desired as we found most encounters with them awkward. They kind of shuffled about with a lack of enthusiasm or real smiles. My husband and I got the couples massage. His masseuse was an kind gentleman named Fritz, and mine, well I can’t remember her name. :(My husband said he really enjoyed his massage, but I didn’t find mine to be all that amazing. I asked her to focus on my trapezius muscles and she seemed like she didn’t understand that. Then I asked her if I could get a pillow to put under my hip flexors to help reduce pain when massaging my lower back and she said«oh we don’t have those». Fritz took pity on my and helped find something, but it didn’t really help. After all that she spend a really long time massage my head, which I just found odd. The massage wasn’t all bad. She was very sweet, and I could tell she was really trying. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but nothing to write home about. If we returned to Ojai, I would probably try a different spa. I would say if you’re looking for an experience that’s very close to nature than this would be the perfect spa for you.

The Day Spa of Ojai is exactly what I needed after a long hot day of hiking. This quaint house turned into a spa retreat was comfortable and had a great vibe. I have been to my fair share of exquisite spas to affordable thai massage places and I can say this is worth the cost. Affordable prices, nice view of the mountains and the masseuse gave me a decent massage(I wish she had a firmer hand).

Treated my aunt and I to 75-minute massages, really cozy atmosphere, and talented masseuse. Received a foot soak and tea on the patio before the treatment which was a nice surprise. Will definitely be back!
