We worked with the hotel for our wedding. We stayed here after our wedding and the night before with our bridal party. We also reserved a block of rooms for guests and had a shuttle run to and from the wedding. They were so flexible and great to work with ahead of time! Everything was just how we wanted it and we couldn’t be more grateful! Not to mention, everyone was kind and the rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Exceeded my expectations, we checked in super late after a long flight from the west coast. The staff at the front desk was great, provided us some tips on where to eat and for some reason they upgraded us to the suites(we did prepay and I’m an IHG member so that may have had something to do with it.) The suite at $ 133 a night is really nice if you’re traveling for business its like its own apartment with a desk sofa kitchen it has a mini fridge and microwave. As other Unilocalers mentioned they have this insane hot tub in the room that has to be able to store 500g of water, being from CA that kind of water use and not to mention gas seems beyond unsustainable and excessive but what can you do. As for the important points the bed and heater, the bed had soft sheets a selection of soft and firm pillows an extra comforter cover and comfortable bed that felt new and not too firm. The heater was quiet and the room had a flat screen TV. Good all around. We stopped by the breakfast bar which was packed with people there were lots of options I would definitely recommend they revisit the water to coffee bean ratio.

Fantastic hotel! The pool area is GORGEOUS! I love the glass ceiling and is perfect for a winter weary Michigander. We stayed in a room with a hot tub and it was clean and beautiful! The rooms are very clean and the beds are super comfy. Such a luxurious hotel at wonderful rates. Right off the highway makes the locale primo but don’t skimp out on the pool area– totally worth your time.

I like this hotel, nice pool and definitely not far from everything, the receptionist was very friendly and pointed out some activities that was going around town the weekend I was there.

Fits the bill of what you need from a hotel. Clean and easy to use. We stayed here and were able to bring our dog which was very nice. The downsides are more the neighbors in the rooms and less the people actually staying there. Apparently people were tail-gating outside their hotel rooms complete with pop-up chairs and beer coolers. Not sure why, but who am I to judge. Friends used the ballrooms for a small, private wedding and it was a very lovely place to hold it. Although, as a note to anyone, there are pictures of MSU sporting events on the walls. Bring decoartions to cover them. :)

Pretty decent stay. We used travelocity and used the secret hotels to book this at $ 50 a night! The room was pretty good and breakfast was standard. The check in took us about 45 minutes which seems a bit excessive. The pool looked great, we didn’t try it out since we had other plans.

I really liked this hotel. I stayed here this past weekend with my boyfriend. We booked the hotel through Delta for the SkyMiles. We got one of their suite rooms with a king sized bed. We were just looking for a room to hang and relax in while coming down from the weekend chaos that was the wedding we attended. Starting from check in the hotel staff was just super friendly. The guy who checked us in(Ravi, Razi, Raza, something like that) was all smiles and talking it up while checking me in. The lobby was very clean and pretty with a view of their indoor pool. After he was done making me feel all welcome with the small talk he handed me the hotel key cards and pointed me to my room. Downside to this place — there is no elevator. If you’re handicapped you are staying on the first floor. We got to our room — Oh … my … gosh … We had a HUGE jacuzzi in our room! I know they said there would be a jacuzzi but I didn’t expect it to be so enormous! The room was amazing. Beautiful king sized bed, wireless internet(it was a little slow), flat screen TV, jacuzzi, and super inviting. The other negative was how SMALL the showers were. I barely had enough room to move around and I’m 5’4″ and only 130 pounds. If you were remotely over weight there is no way you could comfortably shower. The other downside is I’m used to suites having a little fridge in the room. They not only didn’t have one, but also didn’t have room service or a place to eat in the hotel. It’s not a huge deal, and it’s not as though that was a make or break thing because we are across the street from a Cracker Barrel, McDonalds, and next door to a few other food places. They also have a complimentary breakfast. We didn’t get to experience it because it closed up at 9:30 in the morning. I felt that was a little early and should at least be open until 10:00am, but once again no major complaints. The boyfriend and I definitely enjoyed the jacuzzi. It was super amazing. We needed to just relax and do nothing and this room provided it. I sat in it for over an hour reading a book while he read his book. It was amazing. I will definitely stay here again if I’m in the area. I loved the staff and the rooms were very comfortable and immaculately clean. This Holiday Inn was great and I would recommend others to stay here too if they needed a hotel recommendation. ***Note: If you have tickets to a MSU football game they have shuttles that will take you to and from the game! A HUGE plus considering parking on campus is insanely expensive.***
