In Hair Republic, the following customs were observed.
1. They kindly welcome newcomers
2 Clean space big on Christian messages
3. «Half an inch» is open to interpretation.
4. Hairdressers feel confident to make comments on your preferred style as «I didn’t think you’d want it to look that way» and «I didn’t think you’d want it to look like a shelf» (Welcome, new neurosis about my hair)
5. They will fix mistakes, no fuss. But, seriously why did they not notice?
6. Very affordable
7. Strange salesman habits where they ask stilted Q’s about your past stylist.
8. When I asked for no layers, I assumed we shared a common vernacular. As you started cutting layers into my hair and I’m assertively stating, «No. NO. stop, please!» I realized my ways were not the ways of these people.
I wanted this easy and affordable place to be my salon but my husband and I did not fare well there. XOXO, «Shelf Hair»

Great service, price, atmosphere. They even email you coupons for discounts of you sign up. Glad they are in my neighborhood. Cindy the owner cuts my hair. Great men’s cut.
